Roger is such a refreshing change of pace from dealing with flaky, unprofessional contractors. He was able to give me a quick quote over the phone and scheduled a time to come out to take measurements and let me check out the options. I needed a hinged screen door for my mom and new sliding screens for our back doors. Our sliding screens were a nightmare to open and close and we couldn't deal with it anymore. Roger was super helpful in letting me know what I needed and what I didn't need to spend extra money on - I really didn't want to deal with having screens that didn't last so I was ready to buy premium everything but Roger told me I didn't necessarily need the heavy duty options.

We did get pet doors for both and Roger again was helpful in helping me pick the right size. We finalized the quote and I gave him a deposit. Exactly one week later, just like he had said, Roger called to tell me my screens were ready and to book me for install. The install was flawless. You can tell what how many years he's done this work. Just good, solid craftsmanship, no messing around.

He did his work and left us with a great screen door for my mom and doors that slide perfectly for our house. The only snag for us (and this is not anything to do with Roger) is the pet doors have heavy rubber flaps which look quality but our small dog is not about that life. I removed the flaps entirely and taped up some temporary mesh to block bugs. She'll use the pet doors now but I need to figure out a better looking option. I would recommend Roger without hesitation and would certainly use him again. He was also very kind on top of being so professional.

Roger deserves 10 stars. He was super responsive when i called and left a message. He scheduled to come out and replace and repair several screens. The price was super competitive based on the fact that he comes out to you and you have to do absolutely nothing. I have now recommended his service to several people that i know. Roger was personable, and neat. Great find!

Roger totally delivered in every way - both in making the selection (screen door and window screen) process easy - ditto for scheduling and installation. Super responsive, professional, and great bang for the buck, especially since he had to deal with an irregular door frame. A week total from onsite evaluation to installation. Now we have screen doors that are sturdy and look great, nice new window screens, and a doggie door the pups are adapting to quickly. Five stars.

Roger came out and did a phenomenal job creating new, custom screens for my windows. It's been years for me living with screens that don't fit and having to deal with the buggos coming in during the summer when I want to keep the air flowing through the house. I was really pleased with the work and the price was very fair. Will be having him come out again when I need other screens repaired!

Based on the Yelp recommendations, I called and spoke to Roger, who asked if he could come over when he was nearby. I had been waiting 10 years to fix the screens, so I figured a couple of days wouldn't be a problem Within a few days Roger called and asked if he could come by that day, and since I'm pretty much stuck at home during the Covid pandemic, I invited him over.

He came very promptly, allowed my dogs to sniff him check him out. (Our Bradley dog is always looking for someone to play ball with him.) I showed him the windows that needed new screens and the ones that needed repair. He took the measurements, gave me a price which I okayed and was back within a week to install them. He was in and out of the house before I could get him a bottle of water.

The bugs are no longer coming, inside, except when we leave the doors open and we're happy. I can highly Roger owner of Roy's to take care of all you window screen needs.

I contacted them to rescreen my patio slider that my dog had ripped open. Roger, the owner, is very friendly and knowledgeable. It was hard to find a date that worked for us both but he was patient with me calling him back over two weeks time to book. He called 15 min prior to arrival, took the screen to his truck and returned 15 minutes later with a pet screen. He wore a mask the whole time and stayed true to his quote he gave me over the phone based on measurements. Highly recommend for any door or window needs!

Roger did a great job re-screening two sliding doors In my new house. He also fixed a few minor issues with other screens and gave me a discount because something went awry with setting up the appointment. So, good job AND good customer service. I full heartedly recommend this company.

Did great job, But 1) doesn't come times when he said he would. eg. Thursday apt, calls can he come Monday. "10:30-12", comes 9am. He comes at different times so you have to be ready for him. 2) He Doesn't repair screens. 3) Phone price is standard/basic; options cost extra.

This company provided me with great service. I was able to get a screen door installed with in a week. I learned that all doors are custom made. So, the fact that he has the relationships with these manufactures to get a door out to you quickly is very helpful. Also, how installation is perfect and the door works amazing. Highly recommend!

I am SO happy I called Roger (owner of Roy's Screen Service). We bought a house recently and the sellers threw out all the screens, including the patio sliding screen door. I called Roger on a Tuesday, he gave me a quote over the phone, and scheduled us for the following Tuesday. When he arrived, he assessed all our windows, took measurements, and started to build the screens out of his truck / our front lawn.

I was SO mesmerized. I tried to take measurements myself so I could order the screens from Home Depot and realized that all our windows are custom-sized which needed to be special-ordered. After watching Roger install just one screen, I realized I had measured the windows incorrectly, so I am so happy Roger came to save the day. He custom made 11 window screens and 1 sliding screen door.

Everything looks beautiful! In terms of price, I don't think I would have saved much (or any at all) if I had purchased the screens directly from Home Depot. Worst yet, I probably would have paid MORE by buying the wrong sizes and not being able to return custom made screens. If you trust yourself to handle a hefty task of installing window screens - fantastic.

But if you're like me and you don't trust yourself or your ability to properly measure even ONE window, then do yourself a favor and hire a pro like Roger! I promise you - you won't regret it. He finished the entire job in 4 hours while I was on work calls. Talk about efficiency. I AM SO HAPPY! Thank you Roger!

I needed a screen for my patio door and just happen to see Roy's truck in Santa Monica. Checked his reviews gave him a call, and since he was in the neighborhood came over and replace my screen within the hour. Nice guy, great job, highly recommended.

Roger replaced 29 screens at my house and 2 at my office in Marina Del Rey. He was prompt and professional, and the quality of his product and workmanship is excellent. Highly recommended!

I called for service for a new window screen and possibly a new screen sliding door. He asked where and I said Los Angeles Area. He said "I don't do that area." Strange considering his website states Los Angeles and the address is on Olympic Blvd., 1.5 miles away from me. Given the pandemic, you would think business would want customers. I normally wouldn't write a review, however, the 5 star reviews all the way down seems odd if he doesn't want business.

You never realize how much screens matter until they get torn up over time and perhaps a ladder that a painter accidentally poked through while trying to get up high on a wall. Such was the case with our screens and sliding screen patio door. I had used Roy's years ago and the screens had lasted that long, but now they needed refurbishing and one needed a new frame. Roger came out on a timely basis exactly at the time promised.

He took the screens out of the windows -- something I always struggle with -- and brought them back with new mesh, cleaned and ready to be put back in which he did with great efficiency. We're very happy with the way everything looks. Roger also cleaned the patio screen door track and lubricated. What I like about Roy's is that they come to you, do the work right on site, install and go. The whole job took 90 minutes. We're very happy with it.

Roger was exceptional. My screens had been custom made, and presented him with some unique problems. But he cheerfully sooved them, and created perfect screens! I'm more than satisfied. And his price was very reasonable! A true master craftsman!

Roger provided me an estimate over the phone but had to order the special pet screen. Said he'd have it by the following week and showed up when he said he would to replace it on the spot. he wasn't even the cheapest quote I got but I went with him because he was the friendliest AND the most knowledgeable (and asked the right questions). Roger not only fixed the screen my dog ripped through, he went above and beyond by also replacing the wheels on the screen that were old and corroded.

It improved the sliding function greatly and we can leave our back door open again. I would highly recommend his service. Don't call the Yelp phone number though, instead go to the listed website and call that one.

I had Roger make new screens for the whole house. I also bought spray paint to have him paint the screens too. He did a GREAT job! Everything fits perfectly and looks brand new. Roger is very thorough, precise and has a great attention to detail. He strives to do quality workmanship and wants his customers to be happy. I certainly am happy! I highly recommend him!
