This place have a little bit of everything, sure some products can be more expensive than the other stores but sometimes it's worth it

Been there several times now with both large and small orders. Absolutely no complaints here. Lumber is better quality than Home depot or Lowes by far and when you call your order in, it's ready for pick up when you get there!

Great service, selection and staff. I have been to the Chinook Lumber location in North Bend several times for both small and large purchases. They have always been great. Particular shout-out to Kevin Sepkowski at their lumber sales department. Kevin went above and beyond in helping me with my lumber order -- walked me through the process, offered helpful advice and was excellent at communicating. That kind of service really makes a difference!

Knowledgeable employees friendly and helpful. sales floor is clean and tight with an awesome selection of premium power tools. You want lumber they are on point

I've had some good experiences, and some shockingly bad ones. Several of employees are cranky old guys who don't care much about customer service. The employees in the yard leave a lot to be desired.

Great staff and yard folks. I just wish they didn't try to give me their extremely warped lumber every time. I've had to double check what they attempted to put in my truck every time.

I ordered a handrail for my new deck from Chinook Lumber from David. The order process was quick. Unfortunately, the distributor sent the wrong posts. David was very professional and very quick to respond and personally ensured my order was corrected and he was able to deliver the correct product very rapidly. I appreciate David's professionalism and promptness.

This place takes no accountability. One their inexperienced workers dropped a 16ft pool on the roof of my truck leaving a huge dent (mind you I had fabric down so it wouldn't leave marks and would provide cushion) because he was too fucking lazy to do it right. I have been dealing with heavy equipment my whole life and when I told them manager what he did and how he did it he didn't give a shit.

I had sent in pictures and times like they had asked and they didn't want to to anything about it. I kept calling and sending in the times that it had happened and they said they would look into it, but they didn't give a fuck. *IF YOU DON'T MIND GETTING YOUR VEHICLES FUCKED UP THATS THE PLACE TO GO*

ANSWER YOUR PHONE. Do you know how ridiculous it is that your answering machine is full during business hours? That in order to buy from you, I have to call 10-12 times and it still goes to a full VM? Clearly you have all the business you need and the rest of us just need to find lumber elsewhere.

This is the most disreputable business I've dealt with. Placed two orders over the phone. They never sent an email receipt or provided me one when at their store. Received wrong parts twice (they incorrectly ordered twice) for which I made returns for credit for in store. They provided me with a credit receipt but after many weeks they still have not refunded my money for either transaction.

They state that only one person does the returns and credit but when I call I get voice mail and they never call me back. When I go to the store the return person is never there. I will never do business with Chinook Lumber again!

Boooo. If you don't buy in bulk you basically get the dregs. Over priced because the competition is just a little further than most want to travel. Gave this place 3 tries to give me good lumber. Never again.

We needed a new front door and visited the usual big box stores but after visiting Chinook Lumber we knew the best place to order was our local lumber store. Customer service was excellent. We worked with Rich and he was able to answer all our questions, get us quotes and even came out to the house to measure before ordering. Rich was great to work with, he offered suggestions on contractors who could do the work and checked in after installation to be sure we were happy with our purchase. You will never regret working with Chinook and their staff.

I just love Chinook Lumber. They always have people who are very efficient in their services. Everyone was very nice and I was helped to find a breaker for my electrical panel that I could not find in another stores. Keep up the great work!

Great local business off Hwy 9 in Clearview. This is an old school lumber store, not a full service hardware store. Service was polite and informative. This is a must stop if your building fences or decks. Store is clean and organized with a nice variety of building products.

I did not use your services, but I definitely won't in the future. Your truck driver in zip code 98290 pulled out in front of me almost causing a fatal accident. I saw my family's life flash in front if my eyes. Thanks for making 2 of my kids need to change their underwear.

I went back to Chinook about 6 months ago, out of convenience, and Gary Luck won me over. An update of my review is overdue and well deserved. I've returned several times since and have found their prices for very small quantities often match the contractor or bulk pricing at Home Depot. I framed out an awning project over several weekends and saved probably 2-4 hours of drive time over my usual half dozen trips to HD : I have to say It's extra nice to have everything brought directly to my vehicle on a fork and then to have smiling help loading every single time even in the pouring rain.

All this compared to the alternative at either big box store where I'm stuck asking around, maybe getting begrudging help if at all. I saved time and money while getting a good product and superior service. It's unusual to find all of this in the same place. Thanks again to Gary and the whole crew at Chinook Lumber!

Unfortunately I have had a less than positive experience at Chinook. I had $4,000 worth of materials delivered to my home. Half of my fence boards had been back ordered with absolutely zero notice to me. The back ordered materials were then delivered two days later than promised. When the fence was finally finished, I had several hundred dollars worth of materials to return.

I am still waiting for my refund a week later. I am extremely disappointed in Chinook Lumber's customer service. The sales personnel is arrogant and hard to get in touch with. I have lived in the Maltby/Clearview area for 30+ years and was really looking forward to supporting a local business in my home town. The quality of lumber is nice, but I will never give Chinook lumber another cent. Josh S.

The Store manager at the highway 9 store does not give a damn about service or customers. I ordered lumber that was delivered but was warped and cracked, so I rejected it. The Store manager called me (after I went back to the store to find a solution) to tell me that he would send me pictures of some lumber they had in the warehouse, but he never sent the pictures nor did he call back at all.

Since then (3 weeks) I have been trying to get in contact with Rob, the store manager, and he will not return my messages or calls. I have left messages with Lisa and Larry, have gone to their store once after not getting a call back just to be told that Rob is in a meeting and they can't help me. I would love to support local business, but having a store manager that does not return calls after leaving 4 messages just plain sounds or seems to be that there is no concern for customers. Locally owned, long term staff well educated about the product. We've been buying lumber for home projects here for 18 years. Currently using them for an enormous project and are impressed by the professionalism: courteous and competent as well as great product.

A great place. This is geared for the contractor, it seems to me, but they are just fine for me as a home handyman and quite helpful even without asking. They have just about everything needed and the prices are good. If you want someone to giddily say 'you deserve a break today' this may not be the place but there is a McDonald's just a block away.

Been doing most all of my business here for over 15 years. Great service from awesome people that really care about their customers. and its very important that we all support family business like these over the big box stores.
