This company is ridiculous! I have been receiving sometimes as many as 5+ calls a day! This has been going on for weeks! I block one number and they just call using another number. I'm doubting that this is even a real company. If it is, there is no way I would give them a dime given the nonstop harassment. I clearly don't want to give you my business so leave me alone!

Had an estimate done for our roof by Christian. Very respectful and answered everything we asked. Though price may be on the higher end, the quality of the materials they use seem to be very worth it. Even though we haven't made our decision yet on who we are going with. I wanted to atleast help others in their roofing process. Since it's never fun to have to dish out so much money but, if we have too. It should be done by professionals and respectful people. So far, Christian has represented this company very well and they are still in the running for us.

I'm in the process of selling my home and my realtor asked me to get a roof quote. I put in a request and they promptly called me back and scheduled the appointment for the roof to be measured. I was upfront and let them know my house is for sale. When they arrived they were surprised to see the house for sale. They were outside and did the measurements for about about half and hour and we chatted outside shortly after regarding getting the quote for the next potential buyer.
The assured me that they would email me the quote and wished me good luck. After 24 hours I checked in to see if it had been prepared, with still no update. I called 5 days later and the business development rep said he didnt even see the quote in there. Because I was probably not going to personally BUY the roof they did not submit the quote because it would go against the sales reps closed deal ratios as a lost opportunity. If you are looking for a quote.look somewhere else.

We had this company come out and give a roof repair quote on our old house like 4 years ago. They were late, only quoted a roof replacement, we're really cocky, and we're shocked when we didn't sign with them right on the spot (we didn't go with them at all). Fast-forward 4 years later to present day and this company started calling my wife completely out of the blue.
They call her every day, sometimes multiple times a day, and they leave voicemails. It's all automated. We don't need a new roof. We don't even live in the same house anymore. Yet these people just randomly started cold calling us and harassing us and will not stop. It's memorial day 2022 as i type this, and we just got another call and voicemail.
These people are scammers through and through. They've even resorted to phone number spoofing to make it look like it's a "local" number (my wife's cell phone number is not from an area where long roof operates). Note to the scamming company: harassing people will NOT get you business. How dumb are you for thinking this will get you anywhere?

I applied for a refinance on my home and ever since, this company has been calling multiple times per day. Most of the time it is a robocall saying press 1 to accept, other times it says something about me making an online inquiry. I spoke to a live person once. She was very pushy after I told her I wasn't interested several times. I told her to put me on the do not call list and the calls persist.
They use numbers from all over Maryland, Parkville, Pasadena, Rock Hall, Glen Burnie, Annapolis, etc. I have 17 of those numbers blocked on my phone and yet they still keep calling multiple times per day. They're wasting time and resources. I said no, I meant no. This isn't a good look for your company. I hope you rethink your marketing strategy.

I am being harassed with calls from this scam company from multiple numbers (301-597-4160, 301-597-4187, 301-597-4124) saying "This is Long home products, calling in response to the inquiry you submitted online". I never submitted any inquiries to this company. I am going to file a TCPA violation lawsuit if I receive another call from these fraudsters.

I was looking to replace my old bathtub and also getting new wall panels. Brandon is the sales person who I worked with. He called beforehand to confirm appointment which is very nice. I really appreciate the company value he presented to me through a few beautiful slide presentation. He was also very patient and know his products really well as well as the market options and trends. Brandon demonstrated high business acumen and aligned to his company culture. I signed the contract after the visit because he convinced me Long Home is a trustable vendor to work with. Happy to refer both Brandon and Long Home to anyone.

I spoke with Igor with the production team on Monday. I have not heard anything back from him regarding my repair. It is now Friday. I have called (6) times to your production team and one time all I could hear was the workers in the office talking about PO's. I have been disconnected each time. Please advise on the next step.

This company has been calling me multiple times a day for over 2 weeks. These telemarketing calls have done one thing insured that this company will never get a penny of my money because they clearly harass people. After the first call I said I wasn't interested not to call back and from that point on Non-Stop calls over and over again like this morning I Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. it is true I have not purchased anything from this company however this review is my experiencing interacting with the company that is downright harassing me without me even contacting them for any type of business. I've blocked calls multiple times but they seem to be taken a playbook out of the telemarketing scams and using a different number every time they call.

Long Roofing ruined our home. While replacing our roof in June 2021, the Long team cut through a structural truss, resulting in our upstairs primary bathroom floor sinking an inch and ruining the structural integrity of that portion of our home. At our own expense, we hired a licensed engineer who said, due to Long's mistake, the entire truss and bathroom need to be replaced and estimated the cost to be well over $100k.
From a safety standpoint, he recommended not filling or using our bathtub as any additional weight on the damaged truss could result in the bathtub falling through the floor into our garage. Long has been awful to work with as we try to remedy a huge mistake they are responsible for and has given us the runaround for the past eight months. We reported them to the county who issued them a Notice of Violation and now plans to issue an additional penalty because Long is refusing to fix their mistake.
Please do not use them and, if you have, please watch out for any cracks in your drywall or other signs of structural issues. They obviously have no idea what they're doing and could have compromised the structural integrity of your home, too. I'm glad we were home to witness, photo, and video the dangerous workmanship as it was happening (yes, we tried to stop it but Long assured us their engineer had approved the work. Now, we know they never had an engineer review anything and they don't even have one on staff). I feel bad for all of the customers who this might have happened to in the past and have no idea that Long is at fault.

I scheduled an estimate for long bath to remodel my shower. After a 2 hour powerpoint presentation I felt like I was in a time share sales pitch. I was very excited to have them come out as I used to service like this in my previous home in another state. I received a quote on site and was told if I sign tonight it would be $10,000 cheaper.major red flag.
Who came up with this sales pitch/presentation? If you would have presented a fair price at the onset, this review would have been completely different. Seriously you drop $10k in a matter of minutes. You wasted your sales reps time and mine.

We used the new division, Long Baths, for a shower renovation. The shower itself is fine, they delivered relatively on time (given the shipment issues due to covid, which we understand is put of their control), and the end product looks nice. However, they left a large purple stain on my bathroom floor and a blob of some kind of sealant (silicone, maybe?) that won't come off easily on our wall.
We had them come back out to show them the issues and they basically said "ok, and?" The only fix for these issues are a new floor and a new paint job, both of which will be out of our pockets after paying them $15k for a new shower. Do not hire them!

The thing that makes me hesitant about this company is the upsell factor I was quoted 17 K for a shower then before the salesman left if I paid today it went down to 14 K I still said no then he got on the phone with his manager and for a one time offer they could drop the price down to 11.5k. Really seems like big scam. I can do the work by myself for under 5k. Their products are not that much better! Ugh!

I just sat with Mason and Marlen to discuss my options for a shower replacement. They where very knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding a bathroom shower replacement. mason showed me all my options to fit what exactly I need in replacing my tub/shower, from wall colors and styles, to hardware being used. I like the fact of all metal hardware for faucet and drains. they both were very professional and courteous to me and my mom and explained in detail the process of my shower install from start to finish assuring that my home would be protected during the construction phase. pricing for this project was fair in my opinion for the quality of products being used with a great guarantee.

My wife and I just had one of the most satisfying "salesman" experiences ever and at my age that means a long long time. David Smith was our sales guy and his approach was perfect. He was here to provide information relative to a bathroom update and he delivered in a superior way. He was informative, wise about his product, personable (not pushy in the least) and very helpful in just the way we hoped he would be. Based upon the information he provided and the quality of the product he represents we made the decision to go forward with what looks like a very fair price. Truly a win win experience in our book. Thank you David!

My wife and I just hired long roofing to do a full roof replacement and I wanted to consider all of my options. Nichole Soares arrived at my house on time and was very professional and informative on the roofing installation process. Also was very knowledgeable on the company background and materials being used. Looking forward to seeing my roof replaced! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get their roof installed!

I had a free consultation with Matthew after noticing some damage to my roof. We discussed the details regarding replacing my roof, and the costs associated with doing so. He was very informative, and worked to get me the best quite possible. I would feel comfortable moving forward with Long Roofing in the future. My first experience was a positive one!

Yesterday we had a great talk with Christian Mackenzie. We are looking for a roof repair service. He checked our house carefully and gave us a valuable suggestion. He compared the material, working and cost among the whole market in details. Considering they only have the 50 years warranty which cost much more than the 30 years, and we are not own the property for that long, the price doesn't meet our expectations. Anyway, we want to say thanks to Christian for his honesty and enthusiasm help.

Leaving this to warn others. Either the salesperson needs training or is a total predator. He said he'd recently been promoted from Sales to something else. Regardless, this could have been a very costly and (potentially) dangerous situation for my parents so we cancelled. My elderly parents requested a quote to renovate their tub/shower to an ADA walk-in shower.
The salesperson asked how old they were (without tying it to any business purpose) and quoted them $19K for an over glorified bath fitter. Comparable scopes are $9K. My parents said they wanted to talk to their kids before proceeding, and he started pressuring them to sign, offering a $4K reduction if they signed right then. He scratched out the corporate phone numbers on his business card and told them to only call his cell phone.
I sent an email asking for clarification on where the scope of work was located in the contract. He said the contract doesn't outline services because they're insinuated, but he'd throw in an addendum to make us feel comfortable. I pointed out that intentionally omitting materials or services in a service contract violates the 2014 Maryland Consumer Protection Act.
He said LH is certified by EPA to remediate mold and lead, and is included in the quoted price. I pointed out EPA's website says they do not have a mold remediation certification program and that such licenses are through the State of Maryland. Mold remediation is an entire industry for those who aren't familiar. Yikes.

I am sorry, before long roofing even came to do the work, i posted a negative review. The men are here now and the work they are doing is better than most other companies that i have seen in the past. They put more protection like ice and water shield, on bottom and the sides and even more. This company has gone above and beyond. Extremely happy.

We are looking into replacing our shower stall. Long home products replied quickly and set up an appointment. Nick A. Arrived promptly on time and went through the entire process with us. He explained the materials used the cost and the value. He was very professional and helpful and because of this we will be using long home products when we do decide to go forward with our remodel.
Unfortunately at this time we are not financially able to go forward. We were truly impressed with the quality of the materials and the presentation by nick. I would recommend this to anyone looking for bathroom remodels.

We had a new walk in shower installed where a tub/shower had been. Every aspect of working with this company was great. From Manny, who came to explain the products and show us the choices available, to the project manager, appointment setters, and the two gentlemen who did the installation, everyone was truly a pleasure to deal with. The demolition AND new shower were completed in less than 8 hours. The materials are beautiful and we are extremely happy. I would recommend working with Long Home Products for any of their services!

The worst company EVER! Long installed a walk in shower June 25, 2020. Yes 2020. As of today November 22, 2021, I continue to have a water leak flowing from the shower. I have a folder 3 inches thick of trying to get any type of satisfaction. Long guarantees 100% satisfaction. Not even close. They installed the THIRD set of shower doors Wednesday November 3, 2021.
This set the door are about 1/4 above the track. Not one person from Long has contacted me regarding how this set of doors is working. So now the water from the shower flows over the track and onto the floor. Customer service worst I've ever encountered. I could go on and on.

Had my roof replaced by long home in 2018 with a warranty. About two months ago I noticed brown water spots on the ceiling of the home entrance. I called the company to have the issue resolved. Ryan from customer service was amazing to deal with. Due to COVID there was a little delay in having a contractor come over. The issue with the roof was identified but the initial fix missed something because I ended up having brown spots again after the first time it rained again.
I called the company and Ryan immediately scheduled the team to take a look at the cause of the leak. Jose led the repair team and identified the issue. The team fixed the leak and painted over the ceiling brown spots. I was told that it shouldn't leak again once it rains which I hope is the case but I feel comfortable that even if there is an issue the company has good people who will work with you to resolve the problem. Thank you Ryan and Jose!

In October 2020, I urgently needed my roof replaced. I contracted with Long Roofing for the purpose. The roof itself seems to be structurally sound, though I suspect the passive-cooling ventilation feature that makes the house easier to keep cool in summer MIGHT also be making it harder to keep warm in winter. But that's not the problem. The problem is that while installing the new roof in- as I recall- November, one of the contractors mishandled a nail gun and blew some dents into my living room ceiling, which was directly under the roof- big vaulted ceiling. Spackling over the holes in the ceiling drywall was at least feasible, but it left us with a marred paint job on the ceiling.
When contacted over this, Long sent us a man with a ladder and a paint roller, but he was not prepared for the nature of the job- expected us to have the paint on hand, when we had only just purchased the house and the previous owner hadn't exactly told us what color the ceiling was painted with. The result was a pair of discolored splotches on the ceiling, which it became awkward to repair in any event, because finding a perfect match would be quite difficult and repainting the whole living room ceiling would be a major project, especially since the move-in date was quite soon and the next thing we knew the living room was full of boxes.
In hindsight I should have refused to release the funds from the lender until they worked something out, but I was getting calls from Long's people pushing me to sign off, and I felt more than a little helpless with everything else that was going on. To my considerable later regret, I signed over the money. We've been stuck with the splotches ever since.
They are a reminder of Long Roofing's original slip-up with the nail gun, and failure to commit adequate resources to repairing the situation. They are not a happy reminder. My attempts to get back in touch with Long over this at first failed and then petered out; I kept hitting voice mail at the times I was able to call them, and eventually gave up.
They have my money, and have had for some time. But I am not a satisfied customer, to put it mildly. I don't expect to be doing business with Long again, in the event that I need another new roof.

I cancelled my contract and requested Long vonfirm. Other than the signed green certified receipt card from the post office, they never confirmed the cancellation of my contract. Make sure you shop around. They are very expensive. I was able to get much better quality and a better warranty from a company with outstanding reviews, at half the price that Long asked for.

We had our shower redone by this company. The job was not completed because they forgot to bring a certain part. We were told it would be done the next morning but no one showed up. Tried to contact the company multiple times but could not get ahold of anyone. On top of this the contractors broke our front door. After reaching out multiple times a day for days, they finally scheduled someone to come out.
He didn't show after two hours and my husband had to leave for work So cancelled the appointment. The guy then showed up at our house an hour later. Very unprofessional, terrible customer service, impossible to communicate with. Over a week after the installation and our shower is not done, door still broken. They still took our money though. Do not recommend

"Our high prices reflect the high quality." No, the prices are to profit from people who get no other estimates and have no idea how much their project should cost. They'll come inside your house to give you a sales pitch and pressure you into committing to them without exploring any other options. Their first "offer" is more than 3x what your roof/project should cost.
Then they pressure you into committing by offering a lower price that's still more than twice what your project should cost if you sign the paper immediately. Don't. These prices are a ripoff. I got three other estimates, all of which were LESS THAN HALF of the lower, "special" offer Long Home gave me. I went with a company who did the work 2.5 weeks earlier than Long's estimate and they did a great job in every way.
Long Home's owner and sales people say their higher quality justify the high price difference ($13,000 over my second lowest estimate). The roof I received from another company is excellent. Think how long it takes you to save $13,000. Is their service SO much better than everyone else's that you'd save an additional $13,000 just to pay them that much more for ONE day of work? Nope. P.S., they use contractors anyway. Pay your local contractors directly and cut out the middleman. Enjoy the $13,000 you save by choosing someone else

Worst experience we have encountered in our 45 years in our home doing home improvement projects. We were converting a bath tub into a walk-in shower. Installation went well, however, shortly after, we found that one of the shower doors was assembled backwards. Three appointments were made to fix the door - no one ever showed up or called all three times. Finally, we reached someone that actually helped us get the situation corrected after making several unreturned phone calls, including the bath manager. NOT RECOMMENDED.

If you choose to use this company to perform any repairs or replacements the first thing you need to do is get a copy of the unsigned contract. Read it thoroughly and call them if you need to make any changes then get a new contract unsigned. Do not allow the sales person to convince you to sign up that evening.

I should first mention we have double the roof square footage as an average house. Long Roof was the first estimate of the 3 we had. The price was $71,646 but if we signed right then it would be $51,743 under their Preferred Client Program. The next company's estimate was $27,000. And the final company's estimate was $19,750. The last company used exactly the same quality level and the same brands as Long Roof. They are a well known and respected local roofing company. I was shocked at the price difference between the Long Roof estimate and the other two company's estimates.

Completely unprofessional from start to finish. Long Roof installed a new roof on our home in 2015. During the heavy rains and ice that we had In February, the roof leaked and water poured through our ceiling. First "inspector" who came out to our house to see the problem, arrived in an unmarked truck. He told us part of the problem was from a hole created by a fallen branch but that Long Roof would fix inside and outside because of the warranty; we would have to pay for the area damaged by the stick.
We never received a contract or an invoice. A "customer service" rep called me and said it would be $1400! I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager (they are all in a meeting - unusual given Covid). I asked for a breakdown, a contract, an explanation, anything. This went on for about 2 weeks. Then suddenly, they offered to do the job for $1100. Ok, I still want to see the breakdown and what part of the initial roof they would honor.
Another week passed. Finally a repairman shows up (again in an unmarked truck) and starts fixing the wrong side of the roof. He went on to do many repairs that day & then banged on our front door demanding a check. Completely unprofessional and Long Roof maintains that the 2 men, inspector and repairman, are "contractors" and they are not responsible for what they said. Hmm.then how are they responsible for Long Roof getting paid? Interesting. There are more complaints but I can't waste another minute on them. Do not use Long Roof.
We never received a contract or an invoice. A "customer service" rep called me and said it would be $1400! I asked repeatedly to speak to a manager (they are all in a meeting - unusual given Covid). Here are my problems: 1. My insurance company requires a detailed written estimate, which they have refused to supply. 2. Being a contractor myself, I know to NEVER hire a contractor without a detailed written estimate. 3. I took a day off work to meet these people, who I'm now convinced are complete con artists! Here is my story: I called Long Roofing for an estimate after seeing all their adverts for many years.
I just spoke with the estimator, which was a very bad experience, so I thought I'd look up their reviews. I can't believe these people are still in business! Who in their right mind would hire these folks?. Certainly not me! I just had an estimator out. He pressed hard about pricing I've received from other contractors, and once I told him said, "Oh, our price is going to be MUCH higher than that!".
Immediately after the estimator left my house, a lady calls asking about my insurance company and wanting a details about my interaction with them. When I told her "I just want a written estimate" she says "I'm just going to give you an estimated price". This company is as crooked as they come!

Incredibly unprofessional, rude, condescending, incompetent. Told lies right from the beginning. This company clearly is only out to make a dollar and could care less about quality job or their customers satisfaction. From the beginning to the end this was the worst company I have ever seen. We even spoke to the VP to address concerns. Jerry should be terminated immediately.
He is truly the epitome of a bully. This project was for my bfs house and we were going to hire them for mine next but no way! As a military veteran seeing the attention to detail seriously lacking and the way my bf was treated I am appalled that this company is still in business.

I don't recommend long roofing because, once they finished installing my roof, another roofing company informed me, long Roofing did not change 2 pipe boots. The pipe boots go along with roof changes because if they are not changed, water can seek through and go into attic, etc. Also, I noticed one chimney cap came up missing. I ask them about the misapplied, I wanted to be reimbursed but, they never did.
