B & B Window & Door

We could not be happier with the job B&B did at our house. They replaced all the windows and the patio door. The whole job took 2 days, which is exactly the timeframe quoted. The guys doing the work, could not have been any more professional or nicer. Once the work was complete, they spent quite a while cleaning up inside and out, and left the house looking like they were never there (except for the fancy new windows). I can not recommend B&B enough. When it's time to replace the front door, we will have them back for that work as well.

We needed a replacement window to match an original window in the kitchen. B & B Window and Door was very easy to work with. They did an amazing job on installation. They did the full replacement, caulked, cleaned up, and even put the blinds back. We can't tell the difference between the replacement and the original--except for one thing--the new one works! I highly recommend them.

Unprofessional and ungrateful. There are other companies out there. Don't use this one. Bad business.

I've worked with Bob and his crew for over two years and his work is top notch.

I've been using B & B for years and they never let me down. They have done both commercial and residential work for me and have always been competitive and high quality. This past Saturday night I had a window busted out at my business. I called B & B Sunday AM and by noon my window was secured. By Monday 10 AM my new glass was installed. If you need windows or doors, call B&B and forget the rest.

Bob Knight's team did an excellent job replacing all of the windows in an old house remodel. Their skill and professionalism was excellent! We highly recommend B&B, we are very pleased with all of the their work!

I don't know how anybody could rate these guys less than 5 stars. I work for a home building in NKY/Cincinnati and hear nothing but great things from Bob and his crew. B&B answers to calls quicker than any other vendors and they do the job correctly! I would highly recommend!

Installed new Pella doors (3) and new Pella windows in our lobby at Freeman Schwabe Machinery, Cincinnati, Ohio. Bob and his team were courteous, polite, and knowledgeable. Cleaned up every day - spotless. VERY professional and paid attention to the smallest of details. Would highly recommend Pella and B & B Window and Door!

I can only say that this door installation was the most unbelievable and lowest quality possible. The re-work, disruption, delays, and frustration we experienced because of this cost us many times more then the original installation cost. Under no circumstances would I ever use this company for anything. Pella should have known better than to recommend this company.

They also removed the building permit which was in the original window, causing the building inspector to shut down the job. The B&B Windows installer came days early than scheduled and removed the existing door (and drywall) when I was not there. There was concrete damage around the door frame behind the drywall and he effectively "glued in" the exterior door with foam insulation and anchored it with only one wood screw.

He did not use treated wood (as required by code when in contact with concrete. The threshold was not installed properly, and we had to ask them to come back, BEFORE we were aware of the other problems. The least the installer could have done was to alert someone to the problem with the concrete. If he had not showed up early, I would have been there to see the problem.

Since the installation was completed with no one present to see the damage, the substandard installation was hidden. When water was leaking into the inside, there were numerous leaks and problems holding up the finished construction for months, we were ripping out drywall and ceilings numerous times to find out where the water was coming in. Finally, we had to remove the door to see the problems with concrete wall where doors was installed.

We repaired the concrete, and had the door re-installed properly. Again, If I could put a zero rating on this company, I would. This installation cost us thousands of dollars more than we invested, not counting the concrete fix that would have been easy, quick, and inexpensive had it been brought to light. Either the installer was trying to hide the problem or unqualified if he did not recognize a problem with gluing an exterior door into a concrete structure.

Every single time I called I got the answering machine. And was called back about 2.5 hour later. I felt like I was back in 1993 dealing with this company. I'd literally pay 25% more to avoid having to do business with them again. On second thought, maybe 35% more.

We stumbled on B&B researching window repair in the house we bought. We needed the ropes replaced in a few of the older style windows in our home. They got back to us promptly, and Larry was able to replace the ropes quickly and efficiently. We were amazed at how effortless he made the job look; he took the windows down and replaced the ropes and helped us with some cost savings ideas on the sashes.

The whole process was inexpensive--and totally worth it; especially to have functioning windows that stay up--and Larry was a great help. We'd definitely use them again for any window repair!
