Have had a Martin garage door for 15+ years. It recently stopped working, probably due to a power outage. Called this morning and they sent a repairman right away. It was a very quick and easy fix and he wouldn't let us pay him; said it was a courtesy call. Thanks!

Purchased a double wide and a single garage door from Martin in 2010 thru Lowes. The lifetime warranty on the springs as advertised closed the deal. Spring on double door broke on Jan. 31, 2022. Had both springs replaced by local Martin rep. Martin (Utah) REFUSED my warranty claim, ($300.00) citing "supply Chain" issues? What does one have to do with the other?

After a week of back and forth with the repair company going to bat for me, w/Martin (Utah) they ponied up $200! Do not believe what Martin puts in writing.it's all BS! Also emailed their customer service twice, no reply. Look else where for garage doors. or anything else martin sells!

One of our springs broke. I called them the next morning. They sent guys out that day and they arrived when they said they would. Our garage door is 25 years old, so they didn't have the springs in stock. They came back two days later exactly at the time that was scheduled. Luis was AWESOME. He was finished in less than an hour, and the price was much less than I expected. I couldn't be happier!

I have to honestly say this place is the biggest cluster ever! At first when I called last Thursday, the lady that scheduled me for a measuring was sweet as pie. She made an appointment for this morning, for 9:30 am. I took the day off of work to make sure I was home, well come 9:30 am, no one was here, 10:00 still no one from Martin Doors. After a couple of attempts of calling I was finally given someone who said they would definitely have someone out to my place today.

She sent me a text, and an email with the appointed time of 12:30 pm. Well it's after 2:00 pm I have called Martine doors several times to finally be forwarded to the guy who was supposed to come by and measure for him to tell me, he is not making it because he was only told about my appointment a couple of hours ago and has no idea how he got wrapped up into this situation. I tried to call Martin Doors back only to have no one pick up the phone. I absolutely do not recommend this company at all. They are so unprofessional and waste your time!

Maddie, Isabelle, Angela, Branda, in Martin Quotes/Customer service make it so organized, and easy to order and work with Martin Doors. I have not experienced anything like it before. Insofar as just their organization, the way things are run. All that lends itself to keeping me more organized and better able to serve my customers at a higher level. Love it. it really makes my days much easier in the glamorous world of garage doors anyway. Do NOT change anything ever in the way that department is run. :

We just got a new garage door opener for our old rickety garage, with 2 remotes and a keyless pad, wow! We should have done this decades ago. Oh my gosh. Luis is the best of the best. What a hard worker, in the hot garage, just dedicated in what he was doing. Very professional, very hard worker. Very knowledgeable. We couldn't be happier. If Martin Doors ever reads these posts, a huge thank you for Luis, a huge commendation from us. We are very happy customers.

I bought a home having a Martin garage door. I have had nothing but problems. I paid for them to come fix by reprogramming the unit. Seven months later again my garage door wouldn't shut. Agent came and again reprogrammed it but on top of the 42 $ service charge just for a service call I was shared an extra 50$ for working on it. it took him 5 min.!

Well today, this not so wonderful garage door is having the exact same problem. I called wanting to speak to the owner. But it rang only to his voice mail. I called again and asked the receptionist to find him. She hung up and was blocked from getting through. Their business responsibilities to the public are very much lacking. Don't be sorry. go with a mor reputable company.

Poor quality and poor customer service! Will never buy again from this company. The window frames started falling apart after 3 years. This is what the door looks like after a few years, and the company won't cover repairs/replacement.

The highest quality garage/overhead doors on the market. There is a reason they are installed all over the world.

Very thankful for the work Jeff did on my 17 year old Martin Door. Its a long story and I will try to condense it as much as I can. I'm a Facility Manager at the General Aviation side of the Salt lake City International Airport. I had called a company that I had been using in past to work on our commercial doors and thought that I would get the same treatment for my home as I would at work.

I was wrong. The price for the spring replacement and door opener which was damaged was 1500.00. I then called Martin Doors and for some reason the number I called put me through to Precision Doors which they made it sound that they were affiliated with Martin Doors. Be careful about this when calling off the Martin Doors Website this has been an ongoing situation.

When they arrived I had asked if they were with Martin Doors and they said that, no Martin Doors in a sense works for them. I was told all the problems going on with Martin Doors and how their company was in disarray. They quoted me a very high price and said that the springs would have to be specially made and they tried to up sale me on an opener that cost more because they said the garage door was heavy and I needed a heavy duty opener. 1,300.00 plus labor. Wow unreal.

While Precision Doors was at my home I called Martin Doors again and told them they were here and they were shocked that Precision Doors was at my house. They immediately sent some one out from Martin Doors. The employee from Precision Doors had a sense that I was checking and they quickly got out of there. Jeff showed up with Martin Doors and took care of everything.

In short the total for replacement of the springs, new opener, key pad and labor came to 887.00. Thank you Martin Doors for your great service and follow up. I will never go anywhere else. In the future I will be calling for any work I need done at home and here at work. Thank you again.

If I could leave no stars, I would. Their customer service is atrocious. They install an inadequate system for thousands of dollars knowing that the parts will instantly fail and proceed to charge you even more to fix. When you need assistance, they will charge you some more. The door itself will groan and squeal as soon as the warranty expires. The only reason I haven't replaced this albatross is because I spent so much in the first place.

The keypad fails even before the warrenty does and they will charge you for a new keypad. You have to change the batteries? That will cost you $60 when you need a tech to come out and reprogram it for you because the battery resets the system and you've misplaced the teeny tiny reset prong. The least they should do is send you a new prong! Worst CS ever for something you need to trust for decades as a homewowner.

We purchased two very expensive powder coated Martin Doors from Creative Doors in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. When the doors were installed the installer had a problem, he could not get the doors to fit tight. Then my husband noticed that the installer had installed the hinges upside down. The knuckles of the hinges were against the door. That was not the main problem.

Every time it rained there would be a puddle of water on the floor. Rain would run down the inside of the door. First, Creative door told use they were going to send a glass company to come caulk the windows. There is no windows in the door. They said they were in contact with Martin and they were working on it. I would call every couple of weeks then every couple of months.

Yesterday Creative Door tells me " that she informed me months ago, that Martin is not prepared to help in any way. Either is Creative door." BUYER BEWARE. Very expensive doors and no warranty or support.

The spring on our garage door broke a few days ago, with our vehicles inside. I called well before closing time, and my call was transferred to the service department, which did not pick up. I left a message, and have never received a call back. The next morning, my husband called and an appointment was set up for between 2 and 4 that day for someone to come out to replace the spring.

My husband left work early to make sure he was home for them. A little after 4 he called Martin Door to see when he could expect the serviceman because they still had not shown up. The service department wasn't sure why the serviceman hadn't shown up yet, so they called the serviceman and had him call my husband. The serviceman then called and proceeded to tell my husband that he wouldn't be able to come out because he had "things to do at home instead." What? Horrible customer service! I will look elsewhere for garage door help from now on.

We have a beautiful door and they did a great job installing it, but it was expensive! It started out at $1400 and by the time we got it to look like what we wanted it was $2600 NOT including the seals, decorative hardware and a garage door opener. Those would have been an extra $1000. I felt like I got nickel and dimed to death. Every tiny thing was an extra charge. The door is small, only 9 feet wide.

The Salesperson and installers for our Martin Door were awesome. the door itself is beautiful. HOWEVER, for a $5,500 garage door with a plastic cheap looking tag stuck on it right in the front corner of the door to advertise Martin and sticks out like a sore thumb was very disheartening. I called the manufacturer to see if I could remove it without harming the door and did not receive any help.

The manufacturer told me it was on all the doors on the website "didn't I see them"?! That was the response. After checking back on the website I looked at all the pictures I previously looked at before purchasing and the tag was not visible. The door is a wood look and the tag is reflective black, red and silver plastic like, so it doesn't match at all.

Plus since it is put on crooked it becomes a focus. It cheapens the door. The tag should be put on the back of the door. If advertising with a cheap tag stuck on your garage door that ruins the look bothers you. I would suggest not getting one of these doors. I am disappointed. If I had known I would not have ordered a Martin. all because of this cheap tag that can't be pulled off without ruining the surface on this expensive garage door!

It is totally not necessary and a detriment to the look of the door. The door speaks for itself, the cheap looking tag ruins the look in my opinion. I just want to scrape it off every time I look at the door.

We paid more than $6,000 for a beautiful bronze Archcrest #89 with a powder finish. See the photos attached of what the door looks like today, ten years later. We live in a mild climate (Northern CA) where there is no salt in the air, no high winds, and no high humidity nor any extreme temperature fluctuations. I contacted the installer and they do not offer any help to restore the terrible look.

I contacted Martin Doors and sent Jade photos and a PDF of our receipt by email. They have simply brushed me off. PLEASE do not purchase a Martin Door. The doors are of poor quality. The decorative hinges fell off within months, and the surface has attracted all kinds of stains and discoloration. Most of all they do not stand behind their product.

The worst company we've ever done business with they did not stand behind their product they installed and inferior product that also could could never work. They hire bad subcontractors that don't have any knowledge about the correct wait for the doors or the springs and when the springs failed and could not lift the doors they did not replace them and in fact we had to have another $10,000 spent with different door companies. Martin Doors came involved in a three-way scam between themselves and to Contractors in which we were charged an additional $10,000 to repair their faulty work we built many locations and this was the last time we would ever use anyone from Martin Doors including the manufacturewe had received bids from many companies higher than mollies and now we know why because quality cost money and bad workmanship is cheap

I purchased three powder-coated doors from Martin Factory Sales and Service for my home in Sandy, Utah. The doors were sturdy, secure, and whisper quiet. I was very impressed with the workmanship and especially the lifetime warranty. I ordered white insulated doors, ranch style with designer windows. They came with powerful automatic openers with remote controls and outside keyless entry.

From the keyless entry I could work all three doors. Each remote had 4 buttons and I could also work all of the doors from each remote. The entire installation was accomplished in one day. Very impressive company and I highly recommend them.

How does Martin reward a year and a half of hard work? By firing you. Great doors but poorly managed company.

I called these folks at least ten times, sent one email, and left three messages with the parts department concerning replacement parts -- all without any response. Called customer service who would transfer me to the parts department where no one would pick up, but could only leave a message with Kerry (left him three messages) who has never returned a call. No help from email or calling directly to customer service or the parts department. If I could give them a negative star, I would.

The fully insulated Martin door that I had installed nearly ten years ago has held up pretty well considering it takes the full sun of a southern exposure. It needed painting after 5 years time (chalking), which I can accept given its situation. Recently I had a problem with the window panels in that the plastic facia was completely shot and would crumble with the slightest impact. Again, the southern exposure was partially the culprit. Replacement parts were very difficult to find and very-very expensive from retailers in our locale, East Bay of the SanFranciso area.

The original design was not very good, but the company redesigned the facia panels with much higher quality materials. Their cost was HIGH at nearly $250, but the owner of Martin Door waived that cost and merely charged me a nominal $20 for shipping as a demonstration of good customer support. I am a satisfied customer, and I appreciate MArtin Door's commitment to its customers. Bravo for doing the right thing!

A couple of times, our garage door didn't open so they send someone to fix it who has to go look at it before he can come back again with the right part. Add insulation if you're going to have band practice like my neighbors. Founded in Santa Ana CA, Martin makes steel sectional garage doors. I don't know anything about edge tracks or roller brackets but ours have lasted at least a decade.

If you live in Florida, they make hurricane-rated garage doors. My father says Mesa is a cheaper door company. Some Indian guy once parked his car across our driveway to ask us where we got ours and we've never had to replace the smooth white powder coating. The warranty is 12-15 years. (Unlike the photographs, we don't have a mail slot, matching entry, or vent cut into the door.) You can choose clear, frosted, pebbled, or tinted acrylic/glass windows to go in the panels too.
