Cut Rate Glass

I would recommend cut rate glass. They were fast to get back to my request for a quote, the glass cams quickly, and the installation went off without a hitch. The finished project looks great and I have no complaints. Not sure how they rank on cost since I went with them without getting additional quotes, but the cost seemed reasonable to me.

They replaced a cracked window in our house. Did a great job, and showed up on time. No nonsense which I appreciate. Would definitely recommend as the other companies in town were too busy or more expensive (or didn't respond).

Our double pane window got shattered. I called around to a lot of places. I chose this company because they seemed more organized and more reachable. Some others may have been less expensive (some much more), but this company seemed more reliable. I made an appointment to get an actual quote in person for Wednesday. He came Friday and did a great job.

Now I gotta wash all the other windows to match this one. The tech was courteous to my dad in his 80's and I really appreciated that. They're always reachable for me. I hate voice-mails. I added them into my cell phone contacts. I recommend this place for sure!

Ruben and his assistant were friendly, on time, and did the job very quickly at the price quoted. No surprises or unexpected charges. Replaced a 5ft.x5ft. dual pane window for me in about 45 minutes. Highly recommended!

I had a broken window and screen (for the house). Because it would take a week if I waited for them to come out, I was informed if I brought the frame in, it would only take one day. I went ahead and brought in frames from window and screen. It took longer than one day as I was told. I had to call and find out when it would be done. I picked it up and paid. Brought it home and the screen was rebuilt but they put the tabs on the side instead of where they go.

I could not get the screen in because of this. When I called, I was told to bring it back during 8 am and 11 am. I am unavailable at those times as I have living creatures waiting on me for survival. I told them this and they said that is the only thing that can be done. I asked for a manager. She came on and told me she was aware of the situation and then cut me off while I was trying to talk and when I got mad and yelled at her to let me finish my sentence, she hung up. when I called back, no answer.

I kept calling back and finally someone answered, when I asked for her name and then the manager's name, she informed me it was the manager and she is who I was speaking with. I told her, she was wrong to interrupt and hang up. I asked for owners name. She said that you wouldn't agree so what did they want me to do. I gave another solution that this paying customer can work with for a product paid for and repaired wrong.

I brought the frame so they could look at that to rebuild it. They did it wrong and had no intention to rectify. When I told her I had some other suggestions, she finally listened. I am not sure why the customer is coming up with the solutions and not the business? I am not sure why the owner is not following up on anything. I suggested they come get the screen to repair correctly as I cannot get there during those times or to give a discount on a product I have to have repaired again because they did it incorrectly.

She (Marisol) put me on hold and came back to have me give my card again and said I would receive a partial refund. I am satisfied with that. I would have preferred it was done correctly to start. I also would have preferred if it was handled better. Businesses seem to forget the customers make the business and employees generally cost the business.

I run a business myself and deal with difficult customers. It is part of the job and you have to know how to respect them and help them. Cutting them off and hanging up is not good nor not being able to come up with a solution. Rosa (at the desk) and Marisol (manager) are young and perhaps do not have strong work ethics, I do not know, but it was a very unpleasurable experience. One, I would not recommend them for and hopefully owner Shelby Howard becomes aware of such instances.

I had a broken window in a townhouse/ Rental property that I own. They were able to come out and give me a quote within a couple of days. The window was replaced 3-5 business days. Pricing was fair. I didn't shop around because I was in a pinch and need this done quickly and they were the first to respond and give me a quote. I was happy they were able to do it within 3 to 5 business days. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Needed a large picture window replaced for a rental property before selling it and cut rate Glass did a wonderful job! Their price was reasonable, they were quick to give a bid, and scheduling for the repair was less then a week out so it was great timing! Quoted a glass enclosure for our chowder with several places. With supply shortages and inflation, we found all other quotes inflated and lacking availability. Cut rate glass were friendly and accommodating, they were most affordable and their work was super high quality. Not only that, they ended up installing about 2 weeks before the estimated date! I clearly explained I am the home owner but have a tenant living there. After taking the deposit I didn't hear back from them. When I called they said they'd call me as soon as they get the glass to set up an appointment. A few days later my card got charged again. When I called to ask why and inform them that I didn't authorized that second charge they informed me that the job was already done.

Why didn't they communicate with the owner of the home, the person paying, and the person who gave initial authorization for them to do the job. Instead they stayed in touch with the tenant because that's what the tenant wanted. Also, I was NOT going to use that card again for the final payment. I was never told that they would automatically charge me.

Needed a mirror installed for our gym in the garage. Perfectly measured, installed in a jiffy. The guys were professional and finished in no time. 5 stars!

I needed to replace the glass in two windows in our casita and not having a previous relationship with a window glass company I turned to Yelp for suggestions. I found Cut Rate Glass, liked their reviews and requested a quote. They contacted me the same afternoon, set up an appointment for the following Monday. Albert Perales arrived as promised, took measurements and provided a quote.

I decided to go with it and was scheduled for installation three days later. That was impressively fast to me. The installation went very well. Albert and his assistant were timely, friendly and very professional. They left the work are completely clean and the new window panes are perfect. I couldn't be happier.

This company is WONDERFUL! They had the best price for our new frameless shower door and they service was AMAZING! We recently had an estimate done. The gentleman whom measured was very nice and professional. Office staff not so nice. When calling to get an ETA on our order, both ladies were extremely rude and couldn't provide any information on our order. Which you can imagine is very worrisome. Their "Yep" and I dont know remarks were upsetting. But what are we going to do? Order placed already and cancelation would just put our projectl further behind.

Had a cracked window pane, so I thought we needed a whole new window replacement. A few companies started quoting me a price for a brand new window, when in fact we really only needed the glass replaced, so that's what sold me on this company! They came out and gave us an estimate and once we decided it only took a few days for them to get the glass ordered and an appointment made to come make the repair.

It took me awhile to write this, only because I was busy remodeling and doing the home school thing. I had 3 bids for a shower door on a shower redo. They were the most reasonable and their bid clearly stated what I would be getting for the amount of the bid. After I decided to go with them, they promptly got the process going. Came out very quickly for the estimate, turnaround time to get the job done was very fast, and they got the job done quickly and efficiently. Most importantly, they did the job for half of the other quote I received, a third glass company didn't even want the job because the window was above a patio cover. Highly recommend.

Got a new master bedroom window and bathroom window for my grandmother's house. The quote process was quick and the installation was professional. My only complaint is that they didn't put back up my grandma's blinds after the retrofit and that a screen for the bathroom window wasn't installed like it should. To their credit, they said they would come back and install the screen once they received it from the manufacturer.

I will upgrade the 4 star to a 5 star once they come through with that screen :) Other than that, top notch service from Cut Rate Glass. -edit- They came and put in the screen I was missing. Upgraded to 5 star :)

We wanted an estimate on replacing our windows. We have a south face room and wanted to upgrade to Low E glass. First, for the majority of the estimate, I was told what he can't do, doesn't remove shutters, doesn't replace seals on the windows, doesn't replace frames. They ONLY replace glass. Finally, when I asked the energy rating of the glass they use, he couldn't tell me. However, he did say he would have his office call me with the information. They never did. Would not recommend and did not hire.

Cut Rate Glass was very prompt with their service. They offer competitive prices as well. We were able to get our bathroom glass enclosure replaced quickly. They also had an estimator come out and measure the glass for free when we were in the process of canvassing different places. Awesome job guys!

The service at Cut Rate Glass was excellent. Starting with the emails, the phone calls and then the technicians who installed our glass. They were all respectful, professional and did a wonderful job. We had four windows replaced, the tech arrived on time, completed the job and cleaned up. You would never know he was there, except for the crystal clear glass he installed.

Then we had a shower enclosure installed. They were reasonable with the pricing and once the glass came in, they were able to squeeze me in and installed the same day. The two techs did a fantastic job installing the shower enclosure, again neat, clean and very professional. We will definitely refer these guys to our friends and use them again if the need arises. One of the best contracting companies we have found since moving here a few months ago.
