Polar Shades Sun Control

With our new pool build, we cut down a large tree that used to shade our living room from the sun. As a result, we needed a new outdoor blind for our patio to block off the sun. We contacted Somfy and they recommended Polar Shades. They were prompt with scheduling. They were able to offer a unique solution for our wide patio opening that none of the other companies were able to offer. Also their price was so reasonable that we are considering doing another blind with them using the money saved. We will update once we have the blind installed.

We bought two interior door shades, and one large automated patio shade. Ken Arrington was great to work with, explained everything well, and we got exactly what we were hoping for. Installation and service team have been great as well.

I have had my Polar Shade for about eight months and I love it! The shade is on the opening in my patio wall and affords me great privacy, a sense of security, as well as protection from the blazing sun of the afternoon. My power bill for the past 30 days was only $31.62! I think that's amazing! I dealt with Josh. He was professional and patient as there were numerous hoops to jump through presented by the HOA of my condo development. I highly recommend this pod it and this company!

In 2013 I made a substantial investment in screens both for patio enclosure (push button up & down) and patio slider. Customer service has gone from great over the years to downright not helpful. Called in 11/4/2020 for a simple service request and was told mid-January would be the soonest. I even requested a manager's response and got a callback with the same soonest date. I can no longer recommend this company to my neighbors if I can't even get service in a reasonable timeframe.

Polar Shades was wonderful to work with. I got different options. Once you see the factory you understand they cut out the middle man and pass the savings to you. All the other companies in town are just dealers. You are buying directly from the source when you do business with Polar Shades. The variety of fabrics and options available is superior to everything else you will see.

We did blackout shades in the bedroom. True blackout, you cannot even see light on the sides. We did ceiling to floor fabric wrapped hardwired roller shades. We get compliments every time we have company over. We love that we spent money with a local family owned company. It really makes a difference.

We are very happy with the quality of the shades. The shades have really enhanced our backyard. The salesman was knowledgeable, but he told us 3-4 week delivery and it ended up to be 6 weeks. The installation was only ok. We chose this company because of how responsive they have been to Covid 19.

Be cautious.we ordered a $3300 awning from these guys on Sept. 24 2020 and paid half up front. They came out a few days later to inspect the patio and we did not hear back from them unless we contacted them to check the status. That's poor customer service, I reached to them again and found out that it's not going be installed until December. That's at least 12 weeks.

Feeling ripped off, not sure what I can do at this point. I would have gone with another company had I known that the service and communication was going to be so bad. They were quick to take the deposit though.

As a single man buying a house that required a lot of remodeling it was fair to say that my plate was full. That all changed when I contacted Catherine with polar shades. I really think the quality of the blinds are great. We had them install indoor shades on all our windows in house and although there was a problem with the fit at first, Josh, the guy we worked with saw to it that they were fixed and reinstalled to our liking. Right from the start everyone was very friendly & professional, sales to install was great! The shades look fantastic so happy we used this company. David, Anthony & Robert take pride in their work. Highly recommended!

Couldn't be happier with the service and product. I had conventional blinds in my house but the sun was still too bright in the morning. I called polar shades and they came out the next day, measured and had an estimate that day. I went with the blackout blinds with motors. So now I can raise and lower the shade with a touch of a button. If you need shades in your house I highly recommend Polar Shades.

I want to thank Polar Shades of Arizona for coming to my rescue. I had a contract with another company in Arizona that took my $1000. deposit and then shut their doors. I made phone calls and found Polar Shades of Arizona and they came out and gave me a quote. Their quote was more than fair and in fact, I ordered 2 exterior retractable motorized shades.

The owner of Polar shades was sympathetic to my situation and worked with me to provide a great price. The sales rep, Jason was great! Very helpful and so informative. I could not be happier with my choice and the shades have cooled off my room significantly and they look great. Also, the installers were outstanding! In the attached photos, you can see the difference where the sun shines in the window vs. the coverage with the shade. Great product and I highly recommend this company!

We've had 1st motorized shade for almost 2 years and have added a second since then. No issues with service, prompt and employees very knowledgeable about the product. Only 4 stars as I'm not completely thrilled with where a hole was cut to install an interior motorized blind. Looks like an outlet cover 7ft off the floor and another hole patched that no one sees but looks like a 'oops' location.

The Polar Shades are the best improvement we have ever made to our house. They are now at least ten years old and still look and function great. Everyone at Polar Shades is easy to work with and cares about a job well done.
