Mt. Baker Overhead Garage Doors Inc. has been owned and operated as a family business since its inception in 1979. Dave & Jackie Carpenter, with a combined 96 years in the industry, decided it's time to enjoy life, their grandchildren and explore new hobbies. As a true family-owned business, their daughter, Charley, who has worked with them side by side since 1993, has easily assimilated into the garage door business by natural exposure and dedication.Charley took over the company with her husband, Chad in 2015.
You are welcome to come visit us at our small showroom. We do empty out the office at times and work remotely, so please call to make an appointment. Office hours are 8:00AM to 4:30 PM. I called late afternoon on a Friday and she said they could have someone out on Monday. Marshall showed up within the timeframe and had my garage door fixed within 15 minutes and added a lock just for safety I would recommend them to anyone especially if you're trying to support local owned businesses.

Charley, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. Communication was excellent. Our project was unusual (6 garage doors) and we felt she went the extra mile to make sure our (many) questions were answered and things were done timely and correctly. We would highly recommend Mt.
