Our garage door stopped working yesterday and after doing an initial analysis, I figured out that it was the spring. I found what I thought was a reputable garage door company on Google and requested an appointment -- the tech comes out to look at the garage door and confirmed what the issue was and then provides a quote that was way above what I was expecting.

After waffling for a bit, he brings the price down by about $300, but still more than I was willing to pay. I call another company that I found on Google and 10 min later the same tech calls me back saying the office told him to get a hold of me. What seemed like 2 different companies were going through the same tech -- definitely something fishy going on.

So I set up another appointment with yet another company that I found on Yelp this time. After reading some reviews of the company, I decide to cancel the appointment and look further. Thankfully, I found Garage Tech. All of the reviews were 5-star and I see why. The initial consult with Amber over the phone was excellent. After I described the problem, she was able to diagnose the issue and even named the exact manufacturer of the spring that we had.

She explained what had to be done and gave me an up front quote for the job -- which was LESS THAN HALF as much as the quote from the first company. I scheduled an appointment for 2 days later, but Amber calls back 5 min later and fit me in the same day. James came out on time and got the job done in under an hour. Overall a great experience. I will definitely be calling Garage Tech for all of my garage door needs!

We just had our garage doors replaced and couldn't be happier with how the new doors look! We had no issues in dealing with Garage Tech - work was completed as promised at the agreed upon price.

Spring broke on our garage door late yesterday. Called Garage Tech around 4 PM. A live person answered and said she'd get back to me this morning with a plan. She called again today before 8, said she could squeeze us in around 9. James (the technician) showed up right on time, with the right parts, and fixed our door in about 30 minutes for a very reasonable price. With one car trapped inside, this could have been a major inconvenience, but Garage Tech's performance made it almost painless.

James was a great technician. Very friendly and efficient. Prices were competitive, and they also replaced the rubber trim around the edge of my door.

I had several well advertised local/National garage installation services provide quotes. The upselling, lack of knowledge of the commissioned salespeople that showed up, and price suggested to me something wasn't right. I heard about these guys and decided to just drop in at the office for a little due diligence. It's a small operation located in a small industrial park and is locally owned.

Two nice ladies were staffing the office and the owner, who also installs, came by on his way to a job and said a few words. The whole operation exuded authenticity so I gave them a whirl. The price was better than the other folks, the service was first class and straight forward, and the job impeccably well done. A business school class could learn a lot about how a small company provides outstanding service and value by studying this operation. A+.

The entire process from start to finish was smooth and professional with Garage Tech. They went out of their way to make sure we completely understood all the options before we selected the style and finish we went with. We couldn't be happier with how they look!

I was in a tough spot after our torsion spring snapped, but Garage Tech was able to quickly help me out. I called on Monday and was able to get an appointment on Wednesday. The pricing was very competitive, especially with the supply chain issues that have made it difficult to find replacement springs recently. These guys were fantastic and I appreciated that they were able to help us out without a long wait and at a fair price.

Our garage door broke. I reached out to Chris via Facebook messanger late evening and he responded back the next day morning. He was able to figure out the issue over phone and sent the technican to fix it the same day at a reasonable price.

Amazingly affordable and high quality, courteous service! My spring broke yesterday evening and by noon the next day it was fixed. We suddenly needed a replacement/conversion of our 10 year old garage spring system. I got this referral from trusty neighbors but also checked 2 other bids. Both of the other bids were double the cost. Garage Tech contacted me right away and sent a tech out immediately.

I was VERY impressed with the quality of service, the speed of resolution with parts on hand, and how courteous and friendly the tech (Mitch) was. After Mitch converted my dated TorqueMaster setup, he serviced the door by lubricating all parts to ensure good working condition for months/years ahead. Definitely I will have them do all future service needed for our garage doors.

Our garage door had a spring snap and tension cable unspooled on the pulley. Replaced both springs and re-spooled & tensioned the cables. Lubed all the guide rollers, lubed drive chain and tightened the garage sectional hinge plate screws. He also lubricated the pulley system. All in, $369 plus tax. Well worth it. The service was exceptional, fast, and efficient. Got the garage door operating safely and smoothly again. James Tronsen was the service technician from Garage Tech and he was on time, prepared, courteous, thoroughly professional and a pleasure to work with.

I called Garage Tech and amazingly enough, they were able to come within 20 minutes, 5 Stars! I would highly recommend Mr. James Tronsen and Garage Tech! A++ service from an experienced professional firm and technician. Reputable firm to do business with.

Garage tech installed two garage doors for us 11 years ago, and recently we had one of the springs snap as the garage door was trying to open. Garage Tech was able to come out quickly with the correct part and replace the spring along with checking & lubricating both doors. They were excellent to work with and very competitive on pricing, we're extremely pleased.

My garage door suddenly would not open anymore so I called Garage Tech. The wonderful employee you answered knew exactly what the problem was after asking a couple questions. She scheduled someone to come out the next day! Unfortunately that person got sick but they got me in the following day and my garage door was fixed within 2 days of calling for service. The repair person was friendly, knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend them again. Thanks so much!

I had to wait a little bit for the garage door to come in, then made an appointment for installation. He arrived on time, adjusted my other garage door and greased it. I had a gap around the old door which he installed weather stripping. He was very nice and professional and did a great job, the door looks wonderful and operates well. I believe it was done at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them.

I called Garage Tech on Monday morning and their technician was here within twenty-four hours. My wooden door is old and creaky. The tech corrected the mis-aligned wheel problem and then proceeded to give my door a tuneup. The door has never opened so smoothly in years. Awesome service! And a very reasonable charge too.

We needed to replace two wooden 42 year old garage doors. After a lot of research, we purchased Amarr Lincoln 3000 doors and Lift Master side wall openers from Garage Tech in Bothell. Everyone we dealt with at Garage Tech was pleasant and professional. Amber, in the office, was extremely helpful in answering our questions. She would double check just to make sure we were getting correct information, which we always appreciate.

Garage Tech does after market service and repair should it be needed in coming years. This is very important to us that a business stands behind its product. Amber was correct that Garage Tech could give us the best price. The cost was equal to or less than Amarr and brands carried by other garage door businesses. The individual (I am sorry, I have forgotten his name) who came out to do the measuring was also very informative and patient in answering our questions. Payton did a top notch job (on a very hot day) installing the doors and openers. Everything works perfectly. I highly recommend Garage Tech of Bothell.

I called about my garage door and received excellent service from Amber and another person answering the phone. I don't know anything about garage doors and would've paid to have someone come out to fix a very small issue, but they quickly told me what the problem was and how to resolve it without needing a tech to come out. She took time and patiently walked me through several steps which I feel was above and beyond the service I expected as a random person calling for a repair. I'm so impressed and would definitely call them if I need anything garage related in the future. Thank you!

We just got 3 garage doors installed and are very happy with the service. The whole process was seamless and they were very communicative in keeping us informed of any updates. Payton and Guy came right on time, were very friendly, efficient, and did a fantastic job installing the doors. I would highly recommend Garage Tech.

They were able to come out and do an estimate within a day of contacting them and fixed the spring the following day really quick in under and hour.

Scheduling was easy. He showed up on time and was efficient. He replaced the broken spring and gave our garage door a tune up. It's noticeablely quieter now.

We had a couple of companies come out to bid for our garage doors and because of the odd (custom) size, most companies quoted us a long wait time of about 10-12 weeks. Those guys had a comparable price and were able to get the custom doors weeks ahead of everyone else, we didn't even wait 4 weeks to get it installed. Score! The doors look great, the guy installing it did a great job and the doors look and work smooth.

The technician arrived early and fixed my one year-old garage door opener when the chain kept jumping off guide. He fixed all the bad installation issues done by another company, wiring, changed mounting to beam instead of wall board, corrected bolting of track, corrected mounting to door. I have never been happier or more grateful for the quality of service and all for a reasonable service price. Thank you!

Haven't used this company yet for any paid services, but certainly will! Called them to ask about a garage door that was having sensor issues. Amber walked us through some easy steps we could take to resolve the issue on our own. Fixed in just a couple of minutes. Thank you, Amber!

My old wooden garage doors were falling apart so I called three garage door installers to get bids for two new doors and one new garage door opener. The bids included dismantling the old doors and discarding them. All three bids were within $200 of each other. I selected Garage Tech because of their professionalism and attention to detail on the bid. Glad I did because the installation went perfect and the new doors look terrific and have added a lot of value to our home.

Highly recommend Garage Tech for repairs and/or new installation. Chris was able to put in a support bracket to give me some time to order new doors. The new insulated garage doors were installed professionally, look great and are so quiet! Wish I had done it sooner.

These guys are good. Had a broken garage door spring. They showed up right on time and replaced the springs on one door. I asked about having the springs on the 2nd door done, and they did that one too.in record time. They are fast, efficient, and do great work for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend them.

5 stars aren't enough! Payton came out and installed 2 new insulated garage doors and they work perfectly! I can't say enough about his professionalism and attention to detail! He left the work area clean and since I was not home during the install he provided me pictures of the process thru text message which I thought was really cool. Who would have thought you could get this excited about garage doors? I should have called them a long time ago. I got other bids but they were the most affordable! Ask for Payton if you want new Garage doors and definitely call Garage Tech!

Jan 2021 - Great experience overall. The team was able to give me a quote for a repair without any "we need to come take a look" nonsense (it was a straightforward job). James did the repair work and he was awesome, arrived in the middle of the scheduled window and was done an hour later. Everything looks (and works) fantastic. Friendly folks all around, Garage Tech has earned my future business!

Extremely pleased with the excellent service by James Tronsen. He came out on two occasions to repair my garage door. The first time was a year ago to reinforce my wood garage door. The job was done exceptionally well. The second time he came out was today to repair and replace broken springs and pulleys. Again the job was done perfectly in less than 20 minutes. Couldn't be more pleased with his professional service and expertise. Highly recommend James.

I've had GarageTech out for work on my garage doors twice now, and both times I've been blown away by their professionalism and work quality. Most recently: James arrived promptly and already had a good understanding of the work I'd talked with Chris about having done. He made quick work of replacing my extension springs with torsion bars on two doors, and was done with the work before the small arrival window they'd given me had elapsed. All in all, I can't recommend GarageTech enough, and will be happy to schedule back again the next time I need any work done on my rolling doors.

After getting 4 different bids for our garage door replacement, I settled on Garage Tech. There was not a huge difference in the price of the bids, but Chris sold me with his professionalism. From start to finish, this was a good experience. The installer was Payton. He's a rockstar. He showed up on time and worked quickly and definitely knew what he was doing. He removed our existing doors and installed the new ones along with the opener. He cleaned up his work area afterward as well. I could not be happier with Garage Tech.

Super impressed. I had a tenant that reached out with a garage door that wasn't working. Garage Tech scheduled service for a few days out but then ended up coming the same day because of an opening. My tenant reached out to me at 9am and Garage Tech had installed a whole new opener by 1pm. The price was great and now I don't have to worry about the garage breaking down for a long time. They communicated great and we totally on top of my need. 5 stars!

This company was the best around for installing our new insulated metal garage doors and quiet openers. Our old wooden doors were so clunky and loud, they would sometimes set our alarm off! I called and got quotes from three different companies, and they were the most reasonable and quick! Within a few weeks from the free estimate, our new doors were in and ready to be installed.

They came out a few days later and installed everything in a few hours. Everyone we talked to was kind, friendly, and professional. I especially like that they are a small local company, not some big corporation that sends its profits out of state or country. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I'll be honest: Garage Tech wasn't my first call when looking to have a garage door installed. I had started my search with another local company when the agent asked me with other companies I was looking at hiring for the job. When I told her I was also looking at a national company, she quickly told me that I'd be better off going with a different company, and even suggested some other local companies in my area that she recommended (Garage Tech being one of them).

Enter Chris - after reaching out with a quick message on Garage Tech's website, Chris called me back shortly after and we set up a time to meet at my house for a quote. Not only was he on time, but he was professional, courteous, and thorough. Later that afternoon, he had emailed me a written estimate that was quite a bit less (for the exact same door!) than the original local company I was considering for the job.

It was a no-brainer at that point to hire the team at Garage Tech for my job. A few weeks later once the door I had ordered had been created, Garage Tech was out at my place - on time as usual - and finished the job beautifully. While I would not have found Garage Tech without the referral from another local garage door company, I am ever so thankful to Chris and his team there for their wonderful work at an unbeatable price.
