This insulation company I delivered insulation load I come morning 8.51am and done more than 7 hours unloading. Bad customer service

Called this company and they came out write away went into the ceael space and found out what o was looking at was a duct that was wrapped with insulation. All things are good, except maybe better communication with the company. Thank you

We met with Matt Hutson of Insulation Northwest and, after the consultation, decided to insulate our entire home; attic, exterior walls and crawl space. The job took two full days. The team arrived early and went to work. They were thoughtful, respectful of our home and professional. I can't believe we waited five years to address the many issues of drafts, cold spots and high electric/gas bills.

The attic of our house wasn't insulated to my satisfaction. Insulation Northwest came out, looked over the attic and provided me with 3 options on addressing the issues they found: not enough airflow, poorly installed insulation, and high humidity. They discussed each option in detail, not just pushing the highest cost option. I ultimately went with the spray foam, and I couldn't be happier with the work.

They had a crew come out and remove all the existing fiberglass insulation and then a crew to do the spray foam. The covered the floors and areas they were working and cleaned up when they left like they had never been there. Great company to work with, I will use them again for the crawlspace for sure.

Ever had a honest contractor tell you that you don't need any work done? They're few and far between, and Keith with Insulation NW is one such person. He suited up and crawled around my crawlspace taking pictures for 15 minutes before returning with news that everything was in good shape. He sent me the pictures and was about to leave before I insisted on compensating him for his time (and saving me the cost of unneeded work).

This was in sharp contrast to others who wanted to quote for a full replacement without seeing a thing. I'll be sure to contact Keith again if any other insulation need should arise.

Extremely professional crew! I had several other companies out to do quotes and all of them tried to upsell their products, making the total project out of my price range. Insulation NW was honest and strait forward. Getting me exactly what I asked for without trying to upsell items that I was not interested in! Thank you so much for helping us out!

This company did an excellent job insulating our new master bedroom addition. I really appreciate the hard work Ivan and Jose did in the crawl space. It looks very clean and sealed. It really is worth it to hire a professional, specialized company such as insulation northwest for this job.

First of all, I seldom do reviews. I am willing to give the benefit of the doubt to a misunderstanding or anomaly. It has been almost a month now and I cannot get this experience out of my mind. Let me begin by saying this company did a wonderful job on my daughter's attic (similar to mine and in the same condo complex) and that is why I contacted them to blow insulation into my attic.

The rep, came out, looked at the attic. Saw no problems, and I signed a contract to have insulation blown in. Less than three weeks later the crew shows up and informs me there is mold in my attic that needs taking care of and that one of my bathrooms is not properly vented. They aborted the project. The sales rep was virtually unresponsive. I had to initiate follow up calls to determine what needed to be done. Responses were basically nil.

Then to add insult to injury, the business office charged me for the service. We're talking nearly $1,000. I had to contact the office twice but when I finally got the correct person, the charges were promptly reversed with apologies. It appears to me that in this instance there was little or no communication between sales, the actual crew doing the work, and accounting.

Don't know why. Don't care. Will not use them again and want to let those who do to make certain the sales person does a thorough examination of the area to be insulated. Maybe he was in a rush. Maybe he was overworked. Maybe he was having an off day. The results were unacceptable. I DO appreciate the actual crew telling me there was a problem instead of just blowing insulation into the attic space.

As it turns out, the 'mold' problem was easily taken care of with white vinegar as it was not an actual abatement issue. The bath fan, exhaust issue still needs addressing. Thanks to them for being up-front and telling me of the issues. Thanks to the business office for being so prompt with my refund.

I was pleased with my insulation install. The price was just a little more than I had been quoted for a cash side job bid, but the two installers way outperformed what I would have ever expected from the cash bidder. The job was for blow-in insulation for interior walls. Even though I told the installers that the carpet wsa being torn out the next day and don't worry about the mess, they made sure to be careful to cove the floor and other items so that their dust and mess would not blow around or be a problem when the carpet was removed.

They arrived on time and were very pleasant and patient to answer my question. The slightly higher cost was well worth it because they plugged and spackled the holes in the wall.which the was not part of any of the two other bids I had received.

I located Insulation Northwest in South King County Best Pick Reports after receiving a estimate from another company that my Instinct told me was going to be so expensive. When I called Insulation NW, I was able to get a appointment for a free in home estimate the very next day. Keith arrived happy and with a pleasant smile to perform the Inspection.

When I received the estimate from Keith, I had to look at it twice and even then thought Keith had made a mistake on the price he quoted me to perform all the work that need to be done from start to finish. I was truly amazed and the extremely reasonable price indeed!. I was contacted the very next day by Bonnie at Insulation NW to schedule the appointment to start the work.

The team which consisted of Brandon and Alex arrive almost 2 hours early which was delightful. Very professional team. Once they arrived, they Immediately got to work. They laid plastic down so not to get my floors dirty. Once they finished everything was cleaned and when Brandon and Alex left, they left everything just the way it was to begin with.

I highly recommend Insulation NW. Just FYI, I will never use any other company. My advice to those of you looking for a 5 star company all the way, well just put it this way, If you were to use any other company, well you are paying way too much.

I asked for a bid for attic insulation. Keith arrived on time, with mask, shoe protectors and ladder. He was professional, respectful and an informative communicator. It turned out I did not need my insulation replaced and he (and Insulation Northwest) had the integrity to tell me the truth. I was impressed by his professionalism, honesty and kindness. SL.

We had insulation blown into all 4 of our attic crawl spaces for our split level home. The entire process only took a few hours and was professionally done. They're very, very reasonably priced and they were careful and clean about all the work they did. We're very happy with Insulation NW.

On the eve of the 2021 Seattle snowstorm Insulation Northwest was scheduled to remove and replace my insulation. As a homeowner with kids I was afraid any delay would cause our family significant discomfort. Insulation Northwest not only completed the job, but they hustled and muscled calling in multiple teams for both the removal and replacement to assure the job was completed before the first snowflakes fell.

The teams were polite, professional and FAST. The combined teams were great, but I especially want to thank Brandon for his expert job taping off the worksite, Ivan for providing detailed explanations regarding venting issues, and David for estimating the job so well. The night of the actual snowstorm we were able to turn DOWN our thermostat to sleep - an unexpected and welcomed change. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I originally wrote a review about a problem six months ago. I wanted to update how Insulation Northwest handled it. I am replacing that old review with this new five star review: I have been working with Insulation Northwest since they saw my original review. I am happy to report that the company wanted to make things right and have bent over backwards to do just that. Victoria Crump has been an absolute delight to work with.

I hope management sees this and realizes how lucky they are to have her working for them. Jonathan, a supervisor there also was extremely helpful and cooperative. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with their work. Insulation NW is fortunate to have him. Victoria and Jonathan both deserve a bonus or raise in my humble opinion. I want to thank them both for their professionalism, kindness and dedication to their customer.

These guys were great to work with. First of all, they were the only ones that ever got back to me. I sent out 4 requests and they were the only response. I had a bunch of delays in my project and Jim always stayed in touch to see how it was coming along. I felt bad because I had to have it quoted 6-7 times because the project changed. Jim just took it in stride and kept re-quoting as needed. When it came time to get it done, they were on time and their people were respectful, neat and clean. When they finished, they cleaned up their own mess. Great job guys!

Decent work, hit and miss customer service - explore your options. It is a crazy time so giving them a little break. There were a couple miss-communications on their part and customer service was hit and miss. They also accidentally turned off our furnace which was little stressful not to mention cold (it's January). They did get someone out right away to fix it which we really appreciated.

Wendy was very knowledgeable and helpful during the free quote. I didn't end up getting the work done yet for other reasons, but I would highly recommend this business! Thank you!

The service I received from Insulation Northwest for insulating my attic was outstanding from start to finish. Everyone showed up on time and communicated clearly via email. Keith in sales gave a very detailed bid and walked me through the comparison to other bids which helped me make a decision. Some contractors get agitated when they hear that you are getting another bid, but this wasn't the case with Insulation Northwest.

The job took 2 days and was coordinated very well by Wyatt especially because I had to schedule around an electrician coming in. Then, when I had a possible problem, Wyatt scheduled Sonny to come out the same day on a Saturday to troubleshoot, which turns out wasn't even their work. I am very happy with the insulation job and found that my a/c worked so much better immediately.

The work was done quickly by hard working crew in a very tight crawlspace. Contracting and billing were very professionally done. Recommend

Insulation NW just completed an attic insulation job for me. The salesperson Keith was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was responsive to my questions and great to work with. We did have an issues with scheduling as we were told to expect them at a certain time and they did not show up at that time. Apparently the schedule had changed and they did not notify the customer. However, the two workers who came to insulate our attic were worth the wait!

Their names are Gary and Ryan. Both of them were friendly, hardworking, and fast. I cannot say how impressed I was by these two workers. Overall, the only con would be the scheduling mishap. However, the quality of the work, and the value in the bid were fantastic. We are definitely going to look into this company again with any future insulation projects.

Our beautiful view was fogged up by mold. Insulation Northwest offered us a great deal so we changed all of our windows. They were very responsive and very quick. Highly recommended.

I asked for a rough estimate of spray foam in my unfinished garage. I was asked to send in an approximate sq footage of the garage and what I wanted sprayed. I did this and was told that I could not get a rough estimate unless someone came out to look at things. I said if that's the case then forget it. I wasn't ready for that. The guy says fine. I guess "times are good" for these guys when then customer is always wrong.

Commercial line is the only one that is monitored. Tried getting residential on the phone to no avail. Took me 4 phone calls and 3 emails to find out they do not insulate doghouse bumpouts for gas fireplaces and couldn't recommend someone in their business that does. Customer service is very poor.

I collected three bids to have the insulation removed from my attic and then replaced after getting rid of the roof rats. I'm so glad I chose to go with Insulation Northwest. Rich and Dylan came to give me an estimate and they were outstanding. Very knowledgeable and extremely cordial. This was the only company that did everything and they don't bring in subcontractors. Sonny and his colleague showed up on time and went right to work.

They went to great lengths to prep the work area so as to not make a mess. They finished the job in an appropriate amount of time and made sure everything was spotless before leaving. If you need an insulation contractor I highly recommend giving Insulation Northwest a chance to win your business. Did I mention they gave me a veteran's discount?!

Called today to try to schedule a estimate. Website says next day appointments and I was trying to schedule two days later. I was told by Alex they are too busy even though I was trying to get a estimate to insulate a 159 room hotel. I hope the owner of this company reads this so he can realize the money that Alex is losing him.

We had a very extensive insulation project on our 1975 home. It was a bit expensive however, it was necessary, and as they say "buy cheap buy twice". Complete removal of blown in insulation. Replaced with bats, three penetration through roof for bathroom ceiling fans, hook up of vents for the fans, and a list of other insulation concerns. Looks fantastic.

Should extend the life of our new central air and furnace. No noticeable mess from their work. Complete clean up. Sonny and the crew were great to work with. Our only disappointment is with PSE rebate program. PSE said this scope of work did not meet THEIR rebate criteria. Anyway it was a great job. Very professional. Sorry it was one of the hottest days of the year but the crew completed the work and couldn't be happier. I can already tell the ac is not working so hard. GREAT JOB Sonny and crew

This company rocks! Cleaned up the crawl space and wrapped everything nicely and then some.and with a reasonable price. They also have manners which is s bonus! Don't waste your time on anyone else. Thank y'all

Bill went to the house, surveyed the attic, and provided the quote the same day, which includes the PSE credit. The work was scheduled the next few days but it was cancelled several times because of the weather (this was February during "snowmageddon"). They keep me informed throughput the process and letting me know of the status. On the first week that the weather improved and snow melted on my roof, they are back and did my 2,000 sq ft attic in 1 day. I went to the attic to check their work and it could never be better. My house never felt this comfortable.

Wendy came out and gave a great estimate and thoroughly explained everything we needed to know. The work done was excellent: attic, walls, crawl space, duct work and pipes in two days! Quality work and we are now enjoying a very cozy home! We are VERY happy customer UPDATE in March, 2019 - we are enjoying having significantly lower heating bills. Thank You!

I went the route of getting three bids to clean my crawl space and install new insulation. The highest bid was $1125 higher and the next closest bid was hundreds higher than Insulation NW. Not only that, they quoted a higher R value insulation and all the extras the others were bidding. As someone on a fixed income, I appreciated that. I received their bid on Wednesday of this week and here I am Friday night sitting in a much cozier house.

Their two man crew showed up at 7:15 and by 3:00 pm I had a clean and well insulated crawl space. They wrapped the pipes, sealed the ducts, and plugged a couple holes in my foundation vents where rats had previously entered. I would highly recommend Insulation NW and will call them in an instant if I need further services. Do yourself a favor and give INW a chance. You won't regret it. Install date March 23, 2018. L. I heard their add on KOMO radio and they came out and did a free est. Bill inspected the attic and told me I was ok. I really appreciate the straight forward honest approach used by NW Insulation and Bill. I have no problem recommending them.

The office is a bit frazzled when it comes to communication but the guys who come out for the attic and crawlspace (two different crews) are AWESOME! They taped the floor from the crawlspace door (through the pantry in the kitchen) all the way to the nearest door out of the house. They had everything they needed before asking me to close the hatch so that dust wouldn't get into the house while they were working.

When they emerged from the crawlspace they took special care to not touch anything (door, door handles, walls, etc) as they hauled bags and bags of dirty insulation and other damage caused by both mice and rats. Advice: When the scheduler calls to tell you what day. Plan to have the whole day clear for them. The crew will call you when they are heading your way. The crew that does the insulation seem to be more organized than the office staff.
