I would not recommend Lindsay Windows to even my worst enemy. We did not choose Lindsay Windows, our builder did, and it's been the biggest mistake. We have had nothing but problems with our windows and our patio doors don't even open. Their customer service is even worse than their products. We have had 3 service appointments that we had to take time off of work for and the repair guy didn't even show up, so 3 vacation days wasted from work and still no solution or repair to our problems. Save yourself from this nightmare and use a different company.

We had Lindsay Windows installed through Custom Remodelers Inc. and could not be more disappointed with the customer service received by both companies. This installation project has been going on over 2 years and we still have not been able to get a response from Lindsay to repair the sashes that they manufactured incorrectly, so we have several windows that will not lock/leak cold air.
Would not recommend or use in the future. An update in response to the company's response, 1/19: I personally made a call once. From there, my husband has been trying to get in contact with Bert, who has been consistently dodging our calls. Our windows still do not lock and are STILL leaking cold air - in a time where the price of natural gas is high and making heating our home even more expensive.
This is 4 months since writing this review, and nearly 3 years since having them installed. Absolutely abhorrent customer service, very clear they do not care about their customers.

Critical: Responsiveness Our screens haven't fit since we bought and installed the windows. We have tried to contact the company yearly as the spring and summer bugs fill our home through the edge of the screen and no one will respond to us. For the price we paid for the windows the screens should have fit perfectly. Service: Window installation

Windows are nice and seem to be pretty energy efficient according to energy bills. Windows are about 5-6 years old and one of the glass units appears to have failed. Emailed them all requested warranty info and have not received a reply so far after a week. Also worth mentioning the windows when originally installed were missing parts resulting in huge air leaks.
The rep came out and installed the missing parts and said their were a lot of new people working there. Did not strike me as very good quality control. Waiting for them to get back to me to honor their lifetime warranty. They finally got back to me after I had to contact them again after close to 2 weeks. They did provide the replacement glass and even delivered it to me while in the area.
Once I was able to get ahold of them everyone was helpful. Added a star back for taking care of the delivery and running through how to complete the repair on my own, otherwise there would have been a labor charge.
