I rarely leave reviews, but this place is great! I had a broken window which was part of a HUGE window in the front of my house. The cost of replacing the whole thing would have been prohibitively expensive, so I called around to have the pane replaced. Metropolitan Glass was MUCH cheaper than the other places I called. The lady who helped me on the phone was super friendly, informative, and professional. The tech who came out was also professional, knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job. The window looks GREAT and I would definetly use this company again.

I had two storm windows and one small double pane basement window replaced when selling my home. The glass looks great, it was done in a timely manner, the pricing was fair and straightforward, and the service was simply outstanding. I'm impressed.

Rob was able to repair a large side lite window next to my door with the original piece of window film that matched the opposite side. I looked for months for ways to replace the decorative film so that it would match the other side, and was unable. I had given up and expected them to not match, until Rob came up with a creative idea to attach the film panel inside the trim next to the new unit and it matches perfectly now! It took a great deal of craftsmanship and ingenuity. He has decades of experience. Don't hesitate to call for a job better than you could have expected!

Rob from Metropolitan replaced our patio door glass on 4/17/2020. He did an excellent job, presented him self professionally and went beyond work required when he also lubricated the door wheels, fixed the screen lock. Glass looks great and door works fantastic! I would highly recommend Metropolitan to anyone looking to have glass replaced.

One of my windows were broken and from start to finish they made it so easy. I had no idea that you could replace just the glass and didn't have to replace the whole window. Pella referred me to Metropolitan Glass for the glass repair. The installer was professional and did an excellent job. The people in the office were amazing and we very helpful. My experience with them was great and I have recommend them to all my friends and family.

I recently had to take in one of my interior decorative french doors in to have a little broken pane of glass replaced. Excellent customer service, quick and simple. I was given a rough estimate over the phone and he even recommended ways I could save on labor. I appreciated him breaking down the costs of each phase of my project so I could save a little extra (for example, I opted to repaint it myself to save a little $ on labor). Turnaround time was much faster than I expected, which was also much appreciated. I will definitely be returning for any future repairs I will need! I was also interested to see they do some auto glass/mirrors.

Contacted company for a cracked house window. I had to wait a week for them to come out, which was understandable with a large company. The technician was 45 minutes late. I called the office after 20 minutes thinking maybe I had the wrong date. The woman I spoke with contacted the technician who said he was stuck in traffic. I thought a call might have been nice, but didn't say so. Technician was very nice when he got here, although he said nothing about being 45 minutes late (my appointment was for 9:30 am, so not a busy time).

I heard nothing from the company until I called eight days later. The woman said they had left a voicemail the day the technician came with the quote, which was double the original quote. I realize they can't tell until they see the glass, so I had no problem with that, but the woman on the phone was very snippy and practically hung up on me when I said I would have to think about it.

She also made it very clear I was at fault for not getting the voicemail which I never got. I think this company relies on their reputation and maybe feels they can be rude and sloppy and no one cares. I do and will find another company.

I had a broken window in my living room. They were able to schedule an appointment the same day. I expected it to be an outrageous amount but I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable the repair was. The whole thing from start to finish took a little over a week. The young lady in the office is incredibly nice and so professional. I have and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family.
