Portland Millwork was founded in 1997 by a group of five friends and longtime colleagues. Each of them had been in the window and door business for at least 15 years and believed they could create a business that would offer the best in class products combined with superior craftsmanship and a high level of attention to detail.

Founded in June of 1997 in a 5000 square foot empty warehouse, Portland Millwork quickly grew to 15 employees and moved to a 15,000-square-foot facility. Today we operate in a 42,000-square-foot building including over 7000 square feet of showroom space.

Very hard to get a hold of a salesperson. Got told to call in for a quote, there was no interest in having us come by to see the showroom. Asked for another quote a couple of months later, radio silence. Frustrating experience.

We ordered our door package, and when they arrived, 8 of the 9 were perfect, with the 9th door having a couple of minor flaws. I guess I could have been upset, but a quick call to Andrew solved my problem. They came right out, picked up the door, fixed it, returned it very quickly, and it looks great!
