Maybe you have a Craftsman, Italianate, Cottage or Bungalow and are not happy with modern window treatments. Spring roller shades are the simplest and most effective of window coverings. They have a character of their own. We have many scallop designs to choose from. Window Shades and curtains are perfect for restorations, laminated shades are more for the complete interior design.

The Alameda Shade Shop has been serving our local community for more than sixty years- about 30 of which it has been in our family. We pride ourselves in servicing the local communities of Victorian homes with our elegant window shades. Examples of our work can be seen across the island of Alameda on every street, and we're bringing our product to you via the Internet.
Accurately measuring your shades will ensure a custom fit for your selected window treatment. Follow the guidelines when measuring for your window shades. Use a metal tape measure. Include measurements and selected mounting method with your shade order. All measurements have to be accurate to within 1/16th of an inch.
Basic Shades: (Use price grids) Are available with a plain hem and ring pull which is included in the base price. The shade is hand made and the stitching is covered with your choice of gimp. Scallop Patterns: There are many different styles of roller shades, so to help you visualize we have linked the scallops to pictures of example shades we have made with that particular scallop.
The Alameda Shade Shop warrants to the original purchaser that materials or parts contained in any Alameda Shade Shop custom made product is free of defect caused by reason of faulty workmanship or materials for three years (Warranty Period) as long as the purchaser has proof of purchase and resides at the location for which the product was purchased.
