I've worked with Don on my last home and called him again with my new home and I'm so happy I did. I love my new shutters they look beautiful and I'm so happy with them. Jeff the installer is just amazing

We got our blinds and window shades installed a few weeks ago and they are perfect, very nice and high quality. They were patient while we asked for quotes of several different options before we made our decision. They were very friendly and professional. Their installer was great too, arrived on time and made sure we were satisfied with the product installation before he left. Very happy with our decision to go with Slats Blinds!

Slats Blinds provided great service. Our design consultant was very helpful and made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Slats Blinds was the most affordable price out of 3 estimates for my new constructed home with 15 windows in need of covering. They also exceeded my expectations for selections and service. This was by far the easiest experience I've ever had. The slats blinds team was very helpful from start to finish. They came to do site visit, they gave me a lot of options and even took measurements. They were very price competitive but the work looks great! Highly recommend!

I found Don de Diego in the internet through great recommendations in different places. He came to my house soon after I sent him a message; we talked a little, he recommended me immediately what was best for 8 windows, I made up my mind within minutes. Weeks later I have my Duette Hunter Douglas Honeycomb blinds up. The process was seamless, the work is superb and I got exactly what I wanted; my curtains let the light through during the day and I see no trace of the blinds, and during the night I pull the beautiful blinds down behind the curtains. Great experience working with Don during the pandemic. We had just moved into our house and there were no window coverings at all and Don helped us get lovely high quality blinds installed throughout the house in record time. (We did use paper blinds for a short time while waiting for the order to arrive). We are so happy to have perfectly fitting top down, bottom up blinds in our rather unusually shaped windows. Also, one of the blinds was slightly damaged and the installer noticed and Don quickly got us a replacement. So helpful to have someone with his expertise help us make the right selections. We've gotten some motorized blinds from Slats and Blinds many months ago including some skylight blinds. Working with Don and Slats and Blinds in general was a pleasure. Everyone was very prompt responsive and upfront. They were preemptive in giving advance notice for anything. Everything was as advertised. Installation worked out as advertised - on time, prompt and complete.

The installer also provided some useful tips for blind maintenance. The blinds themselves are amazing - they've really changed the atmosphere (and temperature) of our home. The remote control works extremely reliably. The only aspect that's didn't work perfectly would be using the app to control the blinds. Certain blinds further from the hub don't work consistently but otherwise the app is a nice alternative.

Our home visit was scheduled promptly and samples of the type of shades we wanted were brought so we could see how they would look. We received very accurate measurements and the shades fit perfectly. The installer, Jeff, was very skilled and pleasant. He made no mess and hung them perfectly. Love my new blinds - thanks Don! This entire process felt really seamless (and COVID safe). Don was communicative and offered helpful and accessible advice about my unique needs (because of the shape of the existing window frames) - and he did it all without pushing or overselling. I just moved into a new home and had him come out for the most immediate needs first, but I will for sure call him back when I'm ready to do the rest of the house.

Don with Slats Blinds was such a joy to work with. We bought and moved into a new home in early March and the blinds left by the flippers were all mismatched and didn't fit the windows they were in at all. Don worked with me via text and then (masked and distanced) came out to the house to confirm my measurements and show us a multitude of options.

He was able to answer all of our questions and was very patient. Once the blinds were ordered, we had to wait about 5 weeks for them to get in (Covid shipping delays), but as soon as they were ready, Don scheduled my installation. Jeff was in to install them and out the door in just about one hour! The installation was seamless, the customer service was great, and the quality is great. We're so glad we went with Slats Blinds who has been a joy to work with from start to finish! We'll definitely use them again for any window covering needs!

Don was amazing to work with! He was friendly, thoroughly professional, honest, helpful and fast through the entire process from assessment to install. It was a bit of an emergency as our blinds had broken and we needed replacements fast and he delivered. We had 3 rooms that needed replacements, and he helped us figure out how to do this at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I'm really happy with my new blinds, and the process of buying them. Don from Slats Blinds was really easy to work with. He's an incredibly quick and clear communicator, always shows up on time, and does exactly what he says he will. He helped us work through a range of options, without pressure and at our own pace. He also did the *opposite* of upselling, encouraging us to avoid unnecessarily expensive options.

Both Don and his installer were COVID-safe, using an initial video consultation, followup by text and email, and masked in-person visits. I would totally work with them again.

We had some old dingy window coverings that we were looking to replace, so after finding Slats on Yelp I contacted them and Don immediately responded to schedule a virtual call. He was very friendly and knowledgable, walking me through different options to replace the coverings and asking great questions to better understand what might best fit our lifestyle. Later, he came by (masked and very professional!) to show samples so we could make final decisions.

This was my first time buying blinds so I "yelped" around. Don came by and assessed my window situation, I have floor to ceiling windows, and he made the recommendation of cellular shades to help with climate control since I live in a bit of a "fishbowl". I did get other quotes but Don's knowledge and customer service made him the obvious choice.

These things aren't cheap! and I wanted it done right. Don ordered the blinds we selected and once they were received he had them installed promptly. Installation was fast and easy and they took all the packages with them when it was complete. Over a year later, I had an issue come up with one of the handles on the blinds. Don was quick to respond to my issue and got the part ordered for me promptly. In fact, he just left after making the fix for me! Look no further! I've never bought blinds before so I felt super unprepared and was wary about getting ripped off (since blinds are freaking expensive!). I video chatted with Don and felt immediately at ease. He took measurements virtually and literally the same day stopped by to do his own measurements. He didn't pressure me at all to buy the more expensive options and we agreed to a middle-of the road option which I was so happy with.

About 2-3 weeks later the blinds arrived and they were installed by a worker (blanking on his name) who was friendly and professional. He got the job done quickly and the blinds look absolutely fantastic. The blackout shades in my bedroom let me sleep in (maybe too often) and the living room blinds filter the sun perfectly for those late afternoons.

The prices are also very competitive based on comps I ran. I highly recommend Don and his blinds company! They are a local business (Alameda) and we should all be supporting our local businesses. I will definitely be a customer in the future.

We have a whole wall of windows. Some parts on the top are pretty tricky to install anything. Don and his install person came in and figured out creative solutions, also explained the different blinds and which one would work the best for us (reducing heat). And the whole process was quick and efficient. We are very satisfied with the end result!
