Brandon was knowledgeable, professional and paid close attention to detail. He was early for our appointment and he quickly determined the problem with the garage door. Brandon took care of the issue, did some minor preventative maintenance and replaced some worn out parts. This is the first time I've had to call for garage door repairs. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and the price is quite reasonable. Great job!

Yesterday early evening we had an emergency repair needed on our Garage. I called with detailed information and within 10 minutes I received a call from Austen (tech) after explaining what had happened, he was out in 45 minutes. Austen was professional, thorough, and friendly. Excellent company!, and definitely put their customers first! Thank you for the speedy service. We had Jim Garage Door out for a tuneup and found out our old garage door was over 20 years old and the problem we where having could not be fixed. My husband and I decided to get a new one and we are very happy we did. The two men we worked with where very polite, on time and cleaned up after themselves. I have used Jim Garage Door Services many times over the years at two different houses and I will call them again if I need anything done. You can not ask for a nicer group of people.

I don't know where you find your employees, but every person I've interacted with from Jim's has been friendly, competent and personable. From finding out what the problem is to getting it fixed, even when a return appointment was needed, the process was smooth and easy. I can't recommend Jim's enough!

My mother paid $99 for a technician to come out and perform a routine inspection and tune-up on her garage door; her opener is 13 years old but had been functioning without issue--just a bit of noise. After this tune-up was done, the door started popping up intermittently (usually once per day); we'd never had this issue before the tune-up. They sent the tech back out to take a look, and he told my mother that she needs an entirely new garage door opener for $462!
Even if this was just a wild coincidence (I understand these things happen), the management's handling of the issue left something to be desired in the arena of customer service. I subsequently sought a second opinion from another company, which was not only free of charge, but they were also able to get the door to stop popping up in a matter of minutes, explain that the limit settings were a bit off, and offer a significantly better deal when the time comes for a new opener.
After I shared my experience online, the owner made himself available to apologize and discuss what happened. I appreciated his professionalism, even though we ultimately decided not to continue using their service.

The cable on one side of my garage door broke and jammed the door so I couldn't open or close it. Friends recommended I call Jim's, because they had a good experience with the company. I called Monday and got an appointment for today to repair it. The repairman from Jim's Garage Door Service was very nice, explained what he needed to do for the repair, and got right to work.
He replaced both cables, tightened the bolts on the hinges and adjusted the garage door opener. He reviewed what he did and the costs when he finished. The whole call was only $139.00. I was expecting a much higher bill, so this was a nice surprise. The door seems much more sturdy with the services done for me. I would call their company again if I need anything for my garage door in the future and I would recommend them to others for services.

Jim's Garage Door Service excelled in every possible way. Great customer service on the phone and in person. They were prompt, professional, and very thorough. Our installer, Austin, was very courteous and professional. He explained what was involved with the installation and walked us through the features of the new garage door opener. He happily answered all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable using the opener and the corresponding phone app. Austin provided exceptional service. The opener is great too - quiet, quick, and has great safety features. We highly recommend Jim's Garage Door Service!

I originally called because my electric garage door opener finally died. I called one afternoon and by 10am the next morning they were there installing a new one! I was so impressed with their service I went to the showroom for a new door I'd been wanting for a while. Austen was so helpful and not pushy that I ordered it right there on the spot! I'm so happy with my selection and the professionalism of this company - in fact so impressed I referred my father to them, he got a new opener and now wants 2 more. My garage door cable snapped and the door fell on Sunday afternoon. I emailed Jim's right away and received a reply later that evening. They were at my house, at my convenience, the next day and fixed it. Works like new. They didn't try selling me anything extra I didnt need. I'd very highly recommend Jim's for anyone who needs their services. Thanks guys!

My garage door gave out suddenly, and I had no idea who to call. As a newcomer, I had to rely on a recommendation that I solicited in the local diner. The unanimous recommendation was, "Jim's!" It was a good call. I got in touch with Jim's last Monday, and the receptionist gave me several appointment choices. Justin came by on Wednesday to give an estimate, and offered the option of replacing a part or the entire mechanism.
I chose the latter, and he returned on Friday to install it. He explained the set-up and left me with a manual and two new remotes. I was ready for the weekend snow, and my car is now protected. Every interaction with Jim's was effortless, and i can add my voice to the chorus of recommendations!
