1st North County Blind

Very happy with the whole process from Corinne helping us with the design and then the installation guys were on time, polite, and neat! Blinds look great!

We've purchased blinds and shades exclusively from North County Blinds over the past 20 years. They are absolutely outstanding in professionalism, quality and value. They also provide the highest caliber of repair service. We just had a problem with a Hunter Douglas slider tension string breaking. and Aldo was able to repair it in-home, saving us from having to hang a sheet over our sliding door for 2 weeks. Total customer satisfaction!

We love our new blinds! Working with North County Blinds could not have been easier. Cindy did an amazing job finding the perfect look and Isaiah rocked the installation. The impact these blinds have on the look of our house is incredible. Thank you!

I never give reviews but I had such a horrible experience with North County Blinds. I've repeatedly asked them to find a solution for the flawed blinds they sold me. I'm a repeat customer yet they still refuse to make it right. I'm only writing a review to prevent this from happening to anyone else. Unfortunately now the company responds with a lie instead of calling me to address my concerns. Buyer Beware!

Horrible experience for how much money we spent and very unhappy with the results. Wish we went with different company. Would give 0 stars if that was an option. Marti was our salesperson and we are very very unhappy with working with her and the product we now have.

They should change their google search parameters if they no longer provide Hunter Douglas repair. Months later they have still not updated their google listing.

Jayne was my designer for my shutters and she did a GREAT job. She exceeded my expectations. I had no idea what would look best and what would work best for my window but she knew exactly what would do. Aldo did the installation efficiently and was very polite. Rebecca and Rene, the owners, are so kind and helped me get the best experience possible with my new blinds. Jennifer the office manager always answers my questions whenever I call the showroom, which I appreciate greatly. Moise and Audrie in the accounting department are on top of my payments and receipts which tells me they run their office efficiently with great communication. I cannot wait to do more business with North County Blinds.

I had high hopes. North County Blind salesperson was great at the point of sale. I had faith that after being in business in Encinitas since 1985. I contracted to buy both Hunter Douglas blinds and Cal Coast Shutters. As in the past Hunter Douglas was great. The problem is with their vendor Cal Coast Shutters. No one at North County Blind Company cares about fulfilling their contract.

To my great regret I paid in full at the time of the order. Now more then three month later no one can do anything to get my shutters installed. Their phone greeting states that install is now 7 to 10 weeks. Well at this time I entered into this contact 14 weeks ago. There are many other companies in San Diego that can sell you wood plantation shutters. North County Blind is not a quality business. I spent nearly $20,000.00, and I have no value to North County Blind so neither will you.

I came in with 2 wall attachments that were broken for a blind that is probably 12+ years old. Rebecca not only found a close enough version of the parts that were broken, she gave them to me for free. I didn't even buy the blinds from them but with that kind of customer service I'm sure I will be back to do so when we decide to replace them. Don't go anywhere else! From start to finish, customer service and quality was evident in every interaction. They helped walk us through the process, offered great design and practical advice. The install was great and respectful. Highly recommend!

Once again, the folks at North County Blinds have provided great service! I have written before about the technicians that came to our home to remove and reinstall or Hunter Douglas blinds they were friendly and professional. Today I had a problem opening and closing one battery operated blind. I removed the blind and took it to the store, they fixed while I waited and did not charge. I highly recommend them!

I am so glad to have found this company. Marti Kapocius was tremendous, coming to our house with all the samples, measuring carefully and helping create a beautiful room. Our blinds turned out perfect. Thanks!

My wife and I flipped homes for several years before I became a full-time real estate broker. Our current home (owned 14 years this December) found us staying put after moving every 11-13 months for close to a decade. We made the mistake of using a company other than North County Blinds and have had all kinds of issues with our current shutters. After trying to reach the other company, we learned that they went out of business some time ago.

This past weekend, my son and I were in Encinitas and decided to stop in to North County Blinds and we were greeted by a very friendly and courteous employee (Keila.) Embarrassed that we were having difficulty with our shutters, but mentioning that we'd used North County Blinds for years, I shared with Keila what was going on. She was quick to assist us and provided some staples that I could not find online, but which we needed to affix some of our shutters back onto the louver.

She treated me so professionally and enthusiastically, then took the opportunity to share information about new shutters, motorized opening and closing, and offer to assist us again in the future. I have to say that the service, courtesy and professionalism I experienced on Saturday was second to none! I left feeling great about North County Blinds' care for their customers, and I plan to give out their information to any of my buyers after they close on a home.

I'm very pleased with our experience when we purchased with them, and also my experience when they helped "clean up" after we made the mistake of going elsewhere. Thank you, North County Blinds!
