Tropic Tint

I took my company F150 there to get tinted because that's where the leasing company told me to take it. There was a nice little waiting area where I pulled out my laptop to do some work, but to my amazement they got the truck done in less than an hour so I didn't get much done. I will say that it looks great too. I would definitely go with the better tint you can tell the difference in temperature when getting back in the truck on a hot day. Next time I need tint done this will be my go to spot.

The service is exceptional but I gotta say I was sold on the crystalline tints and they were supposed to be better at handling heat from sun but now that it's getting hot I have to say that they feel just like the normal cheaper tints. The big price gap cannot justify the quality I spent around 1000 and it isn't worth the money in my experience the car feels as hot as it use to with my old tints.

Loving the tints done by Tropic Tint. The heat reduction is significant and I'm pleased with the outcome; there are no imperfections or bubbles either. Compared to the other tints from past vehicles done at other local shops, I definitely expect this to last longer but I'm confident with the warranty that comes with the 3M name. Summer is right around the corner and I will be recommending Tropic Tint to all my friends. Thank you for a quality product and installation.

They did my car 3M which is a great product, however the installation was done poorly. Lots of tiny spots in the tint from dust particles on the glass when they installed the tint over it. The prices for tint from this place is astronomical and the craftsmanship is poor. I didn't even bother with bringing it back for them to fix it as the staff isn't that pleasant to deal with. I had it redone at a real professional shop nearby and was done quickly half the price and looks perfect now. Would not recommend them.

The owner is pleasant however what an inconvenience it was to work with this company. They advertise and sell a premium product made by 3M. It is rather expensive compared to ordinary tint but that was my choice to spend the extra money. The install job was very unsatisfactory and looked as if it was done by an amateur. When I addressed this with the owner she happily told me to bring my vehicle back to the shop which I did.

The desk attendant looked at my concerns but felt the need to tell me repeatedly how difficult this product was to work with and how challenging it was to install. He then brought out the amateur tint installer. His attitude was less than professional, not even average really. He looked like he just finished a week long bender. After his passive aggressive comments were completed, he stated he was going to redo the whole car but I should be aware that the product is extremely difficult to work with.

I don't really care how difficult the product is to work with. As a paying customer, that is not my problem. I did not bring this product to you. Your company is advertising that you sell and install this product. You also accept payment for it. The owner was very accommodating. I was issued a full refund and the tint was removed but at the cost of taking off of work multiple days and now having to schedule my car to be tinted again but with a known professional and trusted company.

After using Tropic Tint since 2004 to tint various car windows, we turned to them for a whole house window tint. They delivered as usual. Great Service and Great product. Mike McPherson is an excellent installer with very good "housekeeping" while installing. I would highly recommend Tropic Tint and Mike for all your window tinting needs!

Mike McPherson installed 3M Scotch tint film on 3 bedrooms our loft window and front windows of our home. He was quite a gentleman. John from Tropic Tint came out to quote a retint job on our residence. He was knowledgeable and helpful and left samples to help us decide. Tropic Tint will match others' written estimates. When the work date came, Mike was professional and skilled at hanging the tint. We are very happy with the work and final product.

Tropic Tint did an excellent job installing 3M Crystalline Ultimate on all of the windows in my 2021 Tesla Model Y (including the roof window). The owner Joanne Schultz is honest and has total integrity.

We used Tropic Tint to evaluate and repair our residential interior windows and doors. Previous owners of our home had installed tint on all the windows and doors which looked tired, bubbled, and just plain bad. Tropic Tint stripped off all that and replaced tint with modern sun control 3M products. John was very professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of our situation here. Mike came and removed all former tinting, reapplied new tint, and repaired damaged window finish on all of our many windows and doors.

I have used Tropic Tint for several vehicles over many years. I have never had one problem with the tint. Joanne is very thorough going over the options and the price is reasonable. They finished quickly and she inspected the work. There was some sort of sticker residue on the back window. They replaced the tint immediately without hesitation.

I request the budget deal at suppose 125 dollars. I paid 245 for suv and 265 for sedan without visors. No choice no time for other place.

Wouldn't recommend to get your car tint at tropic. I asked for darker and illegal tinted-they put very light tinted and legal. Still charged me for the "supposed to be high qualities, darker and illegal" prices were really ripped off, double than other standard tints places. Will definitely not go there ever again and absolutely will not recommend this to anyone. They wouldn't reduce the prices after they learned that I wasn't happy with the results.

It only took about an hour. They did a wonderful job, and I do recommend them. Also the establishment is very clean.

The front desk girl is miserable. I had an appointment and was exactly on time but you would've thought I stole her lunch. Very unfriendly. Didn't explain anything. This is not my primary car so I went with the most inexpensive option as possible because.she didn't care. May have a good product but I wouldn't return.

I had a great experience here and the tint is fantastic. The 3M crystalline series looks great and works like insulation. They finished when they said they would and I had fish tacos across the street to pass the time. I highly recommend Tropic Tint. Professional service and really friendly staff.

We got a good quote for window tinting in our newly renovated home. The technician gave us a courtesy call on the way, was polite and professional. He completed the job in 2 hours to our complete satisfaction.

I've had to take my car back twice. First time because for two reasons. First reason was the tint was not square with the glass windows; and second, the bottom corners of the rear glass was notched out (no tint film). The installer said a computer program cut the film. I might have believed that if the notches matched. Again, I went back because one window wasn't cleaned completely, before the tint was put on. Also, I was charged more than the posted price without explanation.

I came here in 2007 with my brand new Infinity. 10 years later with barely any evidence- a picture of my receipt-, they re-tinted by back window that was getting fuzzy. WOW! They stand by their work! Highly recommend!

Mike came to our home today and immediately upon speaking with him, we had a connection. After all, he is from my hometown where I grew up! He was professional and VERY personable. He did a great job on tinting the windows on my home! Mike McPherson has been doing this for years, but you can tell he takes pride in his work. If you are going to get your car tinted make sure to do a little research on the brand and model of film of your choice. Make sure you receive the proper warranty card after install. The older men installer at this place is EXTREMELY rude and VERY AGGRESSIVE when working on your vehicle. Slamming doors and scratching windows, Ect. Just be careful with who you leave your car with to work on.

None of the windows in my car were tinted so after burning up in my car for a long time, I decided to get it tinted. I took it over to Tropic Tint and in less than two hours, all windows were tinted and a visor was applied to the windshield. They use 3M window tint which is top of the line. The service was great, the technicians were very skilled and detail oriented, and Taylor at the front was very sweet.

The waiting room has a window where you can watch the techs working on your car which I thought was cool. My windows look great, flawless, and it was all done in no time! Wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone. Very pleased. And much cooler now!
