Garage door sticking not always going up or down, Steven fixed it at a reasonable price, new rollers and sprayed. He also worked in 100 degree heat, with a smile. Very pleasant doing business with this company.

Once again I am late with my review, but needed to write it because of another very positive experience with Crystal Overhead Doors. I was in a real bind. My car was in the garage fully loaded for an upcoming flea market when a spring on the door broke. This was from an overhead door installation that was more than 30 years ago. I could not lift the door manually and so I called Crystal Overhead Doors as I had had a prior excellent experience with the company.

I spoke with the wonderful Mary, who was able to get someone out the next morning, even though they were extremely busy. Eric came over and had everything operating perfectly within an hour. Eric is a most professional and knowledgeable businessman and I highly recommend Crystal Overhead Doors.

Excellent service! There the same day! Pleasantly surprised by the pricing and super nice. I've had bad experiences with garage door people before- not this time. I can not recommend Crystal enough. Quick, inexpensive, and done right! What else can you ask for?

100% recommended. I called one company, and ended up being ghosted. A few hours later, I called Crystal Overhead and thr had a repairman out within 2 hours at an extremely fair price. Service call is $99 and parts and labor is extra, but still - cheaper and more reliable than the other company in the area. I will use them anytime.

I want to thank George for fixing my garage door. My garage was bending in the middle and he came up with a fix. He had great communication. The pricing was reasonable. He inspected my garage door and lubricated it. I'm really grateful for his expertise and customer service. Eli from Crystal Overhead Door installed a new motor, chain drive, wall control, and safety sensors for our garage door. This also included 2 remote controls. He was efficient, explained everything about the new installation, and answered all of my questions. His workmanship was excellent. The work was reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend Crystal Overhead Door to family and friends.

Door got knocked out of alignment and Crystal was over first thing the next morning. The technician, Dan, was able to quickly sort out the problem and get the door working again. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and was willing to talk me through what he was doing so I could learn a bit more about taking care of our garage.

I am finally getting around to writing a review for an overhead door opener installed around 6 months ago. My garage door opener had been broken for quite some time and I was in the process of reading reviews and asking neighbors for recommendations, but had not yet hired anyone. I was leaving my garage when I saw that new neighbors across the alley were replacing their overhead door.

I walked over to speak to one of the men who turned out to be the owner. I explained the problem to him and asked if I could schedule an appointment for him to take a look. He walked over and did some checking of the operation of the opener and offered a couple of different options for repair/replacement of the unit. I then asked him when he would be able to do the work.

He answered that he would be able to do it the same day after completion of the neighbor's door. I had to leave for an emergency, and left him with permission to do the job. When I returned home, Eric gave me a detailed tutorial of operation of the door opener. It works great and I highly recommend his business.

Crystal did a great job installing our garage door almost 3 years ago, and that would've been enough of a reason to write a glowing review. In the time since, we have had zero problems with the operation of the door. What's prompting me to write today is the exemplary follow-up service I got this week. The trim around the garage door needs to be replaced and my carpenter said that in order to do a proper job on the trim, the garage door needed leveling. So, I called Crystal and was very pleasantly surprised when the friendly woman who answered said, of course we will come out to take a look at it- our policy is to always satisfy our customer.

The Crystal repairman, George, who came out yesterday, checked over our door. Turns out, the door was basically level, but he did make a tiny adjustment which improved it to the extent possible. Let me add that the door is a 60-70 year -old, heavy, wood garage door. We had used Crystal to take it down, my carpenter refinished it and then Crystal put it back up.

The thing is quirky to say the least. To summarize, my issue was handled promptly, politely, professionally and, at no charge! Crystal went above and beyond their responsibility to me. The repair man was friendly and patient, explaining the limits of what he could do, given the inherent unevenness of a a very old, heavy garage door and a 95 year-old garage.

He not only checked the level but said that since he was out there he was going to give it a safety check and, even oiled some of the mechanism that needed oil. I wish more companies could be like Crystal-This kind of service is very rare in my experience.

Our garage door spring snapped and our door could not be opened. I called Crystal Garage Door Repair Service Co and they were able to get to us the same day. Chris was fantastic. He not only got the door opening again, but also took the time to check everything with the door. When he left, it was operating smoother, and quieter, than before. I highly endorse them!

Dan and George came out to take a look at our garage door. We had a great experience with Crystal in the past and they did the service call which was fantastic. Took a look at our cameras which were aligned and they definitely did some tweaks on the door. These guys are as good as it gets! They could have made a service call and charged me $150 or so but instead they listened to my problem, called their parts supplier and then told me exactly what part I needed, where to get it, and how to swap it out. They knew it was a really simple fix. It only cost me $15! I was speechless.

Very Thankful I found Crystal. This week I was trying to get my garage door opener to work properly as when I pressed the button it didn't work consistently as well as I needed a new controller as I purchased a new car. I called Crystal and Eric (i think that was his name) helped me understand on the phone the potential issues and said to stop by and he would show me how we could fix my remote control.

So in the store he took my device and opened it up and fixed the "loose" setting it was in as well as with my new purchased remote control showed me how to program my new device (he made it super easy). Additionally, I had been wanting a outdoor keypad and thought it was going to be a big production but he showed me a wireless version that I could install in about 5 minutes and easily program.

So I purchased both the wireless keypad and additional remote and that is what I paid for.he didn't charge me anything for fixing my other remote when he could of easily sold me another remote as I would of never had a clue how to fix it. So honestly pays off and I'm grateful for finding this customer-focused dealer!

Crystal Overhead installed a party door for us this week, and they did a great job. They were prompt in responding, reasonably priced, and did the work efficiently. They were clean, helped our neighbor out as well, and were friendly as could be. We are happy with the result.

I was in a major jam and the great people of Crystal bailed my out. Bought a house, door was working for 2 years and all of a sudden bam! Garage door and opener would not work. With the Chicago weather all residents here need a garage door that will open when be called upon. Fair prices and quality work. They have earned my trust and loyalty to the day I have no garage or a pulse, whichever comes first.

We were referred to Crystal Overhead Door by a friend of our that used them. Our door was making a noise and the door was jumping. They sent their technician Dan out the next morning (today). I explained and showed Dan the issue. He listened to my issues, he then did a inspection of the entire system. He pointed out the issues he saw and what he recommended to have done.

He gave me three options and allowed me to ask questions. I went with option two. Dan got to work immediately, he did a fantastic job. When he was finished he showed me the parts that were faulty. He cleaned everything up and had me run the door to make sure I was satisfied. My door has never been so quiet! Highly recommended this company!

Found them through a general contractor working to convert our garage to a activity/gym space. And since the garage door control has been working on and off randomly, it's on the list to get upgraded. So the original plan is to switch to an insulated door with a new motor. When Dan came, he told me the current door was already insulated and it wouldn't help all that much since we already plan on installing a baseboard heater inside.

He also recommended the Sommer brand motor and control for a way more compact and quieter experience. I saved money from keeping the door, and felt that they really do have my needs in mind instead of being in sales mode. I appreciate a business like that so much. Day we scheduled to install. Dan came, he's courteous, professional, easy to talk to, and super efficient. Got the whole thing done in a little over an hour. Patiently walked me through all the equipments, explained everything. Asked me if I have any questions, concerns, suggestions. I was so happy about the whole process! I know who to call and recommend for garage door needs.

On one of the coldest days this year, naturally, the garage door malfunctioned and would not close. Mary took my call for help before normal business hours and Daniel came to the rescue. Fantastic job and crew. I had come home to the snow storm we just had here in Chicago. I opened my garage door and the cable came apart due to being iced closed near the bottom. I called Crystal and they were out the same day at a very fair price. I spoke with Eric who was very friendly/informative. He understood that I enjoyed hearing about the technical aspects of the garage door and spent extra time talking with me. Hopefully I do not have any more garage issues, but if I do I will be reaching out to them again.

I highly recommend Crystal Overhead Door. They recently did a torsion conversion on my garage door after one of the pulleys broke. The technician also replaced the chain drive gear in the door opener. They did a fantastic job and used high quality parts which should provide me with years of trouble free service.

I so appreciate Crystal's dependability esp. since I don't live in the city where my overhead door is located. I know that whenever my overhead electronic gate needs to be quickly fixed, that I can call Crystal and they will attend to the matter as quickly as they can. This is esp. important when you have tenants who need to get out of the gate in the morning to go to work. Our building has a shared 3 car garage with a commercial door - it is not easy to find a place that will service it. We had an emergency as one of the springs broke and the door would not open, preventing us from getting in or our. The previous owners used one of the bigger garage door companies in the city, which shall remain unnamed. I reached out and they wanted $75 for an estimate.

I politely declined and reached out via Yelp for several quotes. Crystal Overhead door responded promptly as it was an emergency and sent someone over. They took a look, gave me a price that was reasonable, went and got the springs and fixed the door all in under about 5 hours. The techs were knowledgeable and friendly and they appreciated the urgency of the job in the middle of winter. They will no doubt be our service provider for any future issues.

Project began with a very professional estimate, including all measurements and description of material to replace our garage door. The estimated production time was shorten from two or three weeks to four days. The delivery was efficient. The installation outstanding. And the clean up through. We are very pleased with the door and the service. We would highly recommend this company.

We hired your company on July 10, 2017 to install 2 new garage doors, a single and double. The service we received on this install was excellent. However, on March 11, 2018 at 7:30 am, while waiting for a ride to the airport, the single door broke. Upon closing, it stopped 2 1/2 feet from the ground on an angle. We tried to use the manual lever, but it did not work.

We called your emergency service twice, but no one picked up. We ended up calling another garage door company and my neighbor let them in to do the work. They replaced the spring and 2 cables. The total cost was $354.95. We reached out to you via phone, email and letter, but never received any response. As much as I hate to give a bad review, I feel I have no other option. We are out the money for repairs and you have not stood by any warranty on your work product.

Excellent service and very nice technicians. Our condo association has used this company over the years, but I am the first to write a review for the service. Since being elected to the board, I have had to call them out three times for repairs. Without fail, the service has been quick and professional, with the technician explaining what needed to be done and why.

This latest visit required an emergency visit as the outer door to the alley would not close a nd I didn't want to leave the complex exposed all night.fair warning, it is costly, but that is what insurance is for :- Technician was at the house in about 1.5 hours of initial call. Interesting note: the first technician that received the call actually called me to say that he was sorry that he was unable to take the call due to his son's birthday dinner and not having enough time to do the repair and make the dinner.

He called the dispatch center to have another technician sent out. He didn't have to do that and I thought that was nice. I am hoping nothing else goes wrong with my doors, but if they do, this is the place I am calling.
