Scientific Home Services Ltd installed our new windows. The team that came out to install was efficient and answered all our questions and needs. The job was to happen over two day but due to weather conditions, the team was able to complete it in one day! We had a follow-up inspection that addressed all concerns. I highly recommend this company. From the CEO to all laborers, they are great.

Management was quick to come out and give us an estimate. Installation team is efficient and quick. Did a great job of cleaning up afterward. The first install (we broke them up over a couple rather than replace all of our windows at once) replaced the front windows of our condo, which other units liked so much they hired Scientific to do their own. Since then, they've replaced our shared stairwell windows as well. Reasonably priced for the quality and labor, would highly recommend them.

We are thrilled with our new south-facing windows, which were installed in our 120-year-old home by Scientific Home Services. From the fast estimate, to the reasonable manufacturing time, to the efficient installation, overall this was an excellent experience. Juan and Juan were fantastic. We highly recommend this company for window replacement and repairs.

I called Scientific Home Services to look at four leaky windows in my house. Jon came out and quickly identified why the windows leaked and told me how they should and would be installed by Scientific. They had my windows custom made at an affordable price. There was no used car salesman attitude or bait and switch that is so common in the window replacement industry.

The installers showed up on time and worked until they finished. The space was cleaned up when they were done. The windows look great and the first storms of the season have come and gone without any water leaking down my walls. I can't recommend the Scientific Home Services team enough. I'm so glad to have found them.

Can't say enough good things about having our windows done by Scientific Home Services. From the easy in home no pressure visit to discuss options, to the the windows coming in AHEAD of schedule in a time where everything else comes months late these days. And finally the polite, clean, and thorough installation. Very grateful to them for making this an easy choice. Look forward to using them in the future for any window needs.

Scientific Home Services replaced one of my windows back in December, and I have been meaning to thank them ever since. I was very impressed with the friendly professionalism of the entire team. From the initial consultation to the final billing, everything went smoothly. The installer and his assistant did a fabulous job, and worked quickly and carefully.

I was pleasantly surprised that all the work could be done from inside the apartment. I mention this because I live on the 3rd floor, and had assumed the work would require a ladder outside the building, in my downstairs neighbor's yard. So apartment dwellers, don't hesitate if that is your concern too! I love my new window. It looks beautiful, opens easily, and closes securely.

The product and installation are top quality and well worth the price. The window will probably outlast me. Two other sets of neighbors also had several windows replaced by SHS at the same time as I did, and they are also equally pleased. We should have done this years ago -- it is such a pleasure to open our windows fearlessly again. Bravo to Mark and Jon and their team!

We are so happy with the windows and installation from scientific home services. I started with an assumption that I would be purchasing marvin wood windows, but Jon suggested a high quality vinyl alternative that worked with our Victorian home, were higher efficiency and about half the cost. I really appreciated his honesty and trusted him with this major purchase. Will definitely use them again when we complete replacement on the rest of our windows

I 100% recommend Victor and Scientific! Victor repaired the broken glass in my office and upon may initial inquiry, he responded to my questions immediately and in a professional way. The day of installation was seamless- Victor was on time, wore booties and a mask in my home, answered my questions and even looked at my other windows to make sure they were operating properly! Thank you for making this annoying process so easy!

They were great. Even though we took a different route with our front window, I would use them in a heart beat. I may still use them this coming spring. They were honest and truthful when describing what we needed Cary Z.

Jon came out to look at my windows and give me a quote. Like others mentioned, it was not a high pressure sales tactic like many other companies. They had all the same high quality materials as another company that quoted me, but the quote was literally half of the other one (I guess it would have been a bit more than half if I had given in to the high-pressure discount of the other company).

So I booked it the next week, paying the 40% down payment after clearing the windows with my association. Jon mentioned that the typical lead time was 16-18 weeks, which was also faster than the other company quoted (22 weeks!). Well, they came out only 10 weeks after I signed the contract and did the job all in one day with only two guys (our place isn't that big). Overall, they did a good job with the windows, but I did find a few scuffs and scrapes around the edges. I'm not too worried about that because I can fix it easily and needed to do some cosmetic repair work around the edges of the windows anyway.

The one thing I was disappointed about was that I found a couple of nicks in our hardwood floor the next day, and I'm not looking forward to fixing that. I contacted them about it but they didn't seem to think there was anything they could do for me. I guess I would probably knock them a half star for the damage to the floor if that was an option. Anyway, whatever those repairs will cost me is far less than going with any other company really.

My experience with this company is 100% positive. My windows were installed this week and they are beautiful. All of the people I dealt with were great to work with. The product is excellent and the installment went very smoothly. The price was very reasonable. The installers kept disruption at my house to a minimum and cleaned up so well that you could never tell that a major job took place.

The windows were ready and installed exactly when they were promised, which is very rare since the pandemic. I have already had a property owner in my neighborhood knock on my door to ask where I got the windows. Of course I told him, and anyone else, that they can deal with this company with complete confidence.

First time I've used Scientific. I didn't know if I needed new windows for if my windows could be repaired. They referred me to Victor who is a real professional. He diagnosed the problem with my windows and then fixed them. His expertise saved me over a thousand dollars.

The most pleasant window sales visit I've ever had. John arrived promptly and provided clear, no-pressure information about the windows. Seems like a really trustworthy company. Waiting to receive a quote from them and I'm really hoping it works out. I'm so tired of searching.

From estimate through installation, the process went smoothly. John gave clear explanations of the products Scientific Home Services proposed to use, the one-time transferable lifetime warrantee, what to expect during the installations, and total cost. We experienced zero pressure. John was readily available if a question arose. He also communicated with our HOA Board to ensure the windows met its standards.

The two installers arrived on time, covered all furnishings and flooring, installed the eleven windows, and thoroughly cleaned the work areas. They worked hard and completed the job in one day. Most important, the windows look great. We highly recommend Scientific Home Services. It earned a five-star rating.

Second time we've used Scientific. This time they replaced our back kitchen door. This is not a standard door: it opens outward, on the right side, and was unusual dimensions. Scientific was able to get the style I wanted and it looks great! Very professional, great communication, very responsive.

Great experience with this company. They replaced 12 windows in our upstairs last year, so we hired them again to do 9 windows downstairs. There was a delay from the manufacturer of the custom windows because of Covid. Scientific kept us fully informed along the way and scheduled installation as soon as the new windows arrived. The windows look great, and the installers were professional--fast, courteous, efficient--and they left the house spotless.

We replaced all the windows on our first and second floors (14 total) with Climate Solutions vinyl windows. The old windows were original construction (70 years old) single-pane windows so our house was drafty even during mild winters. The difference after installation was night and day: cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter, and our utilities bills decreased.

Everyone at Scientific Home was extremely professional. They were honest during our initial consultation and reliable when it came time to install. We have an infant in our home, so we were especially concerned about lead exposure, but they couldn't have been more careful about covering our furniture and cleaning when they were done. Around 9 months later the caulk seal around some of the windows had shrunk and began letting in cool air, but Victor offered to come out same day to fix it at no charge. Pricing was fair and competitive. Almost a year later, we're 100% satisfied with the windows and service provided by SH and I'll continue recommending them to everyone I can.

Good customer service, but after a site visit stated that they were unable to replace several large windows on the third level of a traditional 6-flat Chicago brick condo building.

I highly recommend Scientific Home Services. Why? 1) They're prompt 2) It's not a hard sell. Jon comes out, measures, sits down with you, takes you through your options, and says to let him know what you'd like to do, whenever you're ready. And then he's on his way. He was here for maybe 30 minutes. (and not to take away from this review, but another company that we regretfully used in the past was at our house for 3+ hours) 3) They remeasure before ordering 4) The installation crew are professional and friendly 5) They take care of any potential lead hazards 6) They know what's to code for stairwells and adhere to it 7) The price is totally reasonable 8) It was an overall great experience and the windows look great!

We had a window that was about to fall out of the frame and needed to get it fixed fast! Scientific ordered the frames and in all we decided to do 8 windows. They were installed in December, and Scientific did it quickly. They minimized the time that cold air came into the house. The windows are great quality and the installers were very tidy and cleaned up beautifully.

They also took the blinds down and put them back up as they installed. Great job! The quote was the same as the invoice, and the owner of the company came out personally to look at the project. The team was responsive in every way, and nice folks.

I got three quotes for my windows and on the referral of someone else in my condo complex who had used Scientific, went with them and couldn't be happier. Jon came out to do my quote and walked me through my options. I never felt pressured at any point and felt well informed of my options and the benefit of the windows Scientific would install.

From the quote to the final install everything went smoothly. I adore the windows and they have made a HUGE difference in retaining heat during winter. Thanks guys, great job!

From start to finish, Scientific did a great job with providing us an estimate, coming out to measure and ensure that they are ordering the correct windows, to a very well done installation. Only reason for 4 stars is that we had to call a few times before getting a response on teh status of our windows, which we found out were delayed by teh shupplier. More proactive communication would have been better. We called them back to come do our basement windows, so we are definitely lifetime repeat customers!
