Had an 17 year old garage door that final broke. They were able to get someone to my home within 2 hours. They didn't push any options and had a fair price for the repair. Ultimately, I decided to get a new opener and he had everything ready to go and installed within 2 hours. Professional, friendly, timely. Can't ask for much more.

I was charged 100.00 for two surge protects that cost 14.00 on Amazon. I agreed to it because it seemed right but when I researched afterwards it it was too late. 245.00 for 14minutes of work and surge protectors. I got my receipt three days later because Steve forgot to turn it in to your officer. Wow what an expensive lesson learned.

Update to the problem reported earlier. The company called and offered a full refund to my mother based on the quality of service provided. I am happy that they are responsive and willing to make things right. The good news. The tech quickly identified and resolved the problem with my mother's garage door not opening or closing. The bad news. He moved some boards blocking a sensor (5 minutes) and charged her $140.
It seems somewhat an excessive charge for 5 minutes worth of work, none of which involved repair of the opener. My mother is 87 years old and I feel that she was taken advantage of. Will not be using this company for any future garage door problems. Elderly residents beware!

Just wanted to share a few words about our service we got from overhead door. Steve Gonzales was absolutely wonderful with his workmanship and sensitivity to our needs. I will recommend overhead door to everyone I come in contact that needs this service and hopefully they will get Steve to handle the situation. Very happy customer! Cruz

I had overhead door over to fix my door. They put a cable back on the pulley adjusted the tension on the springs and oiled it up. A 20 minute job for only $250.00 that is a ripoff They used to be good, gave value and service for the money they charged. I guess they caught the Covid greed bug. They said they were charging me for the experience. You don't need a college degree to put a cable on a pulley!, I will check more closely in future so I get my money's worth. They should be ashamed $250.00. Yeah right.

We ordered a new garage door from this company, the customer service is awful. The lack of communication is sad, we have to call weekly for updates, and each week they say the same thing. we will call you next week. Sadly this happened only once in the last 2 months. we will NEVER deal with them again. Buyers beware

I have never been so degraded and at my own home too! I called to complain and Joe the manager doubted the validity of my complaint even after I told him I got the number off of the truck. When I told him that I was only calling to report the complaint he could believe it or choose to ignore it but I was going to write a review His attitude completely changed; he apologized and said he would speak to the servicemen that berated the homes in the 200k community saying" The doors buckled bc we didn't use their company " All said with a egotistical snide smirk on his face! No thank you and I will tell my neighborhood community members not use them either. Buyer beware!

FIRST, beware this is NOT "The Genuine. The Original. Overhead Door" company. This is a place that has a name too similar to the original guys and thus can deceive potential customers. I too thought I was calling Overhead Door (I'll own that). I called and told them I have a broken sensor that needs to be replaced. He said there is a $35 service call.
Not being naive, I suspected it would be higher (parts, labor, etc.). I got a confirmation from the "tech" (who had horrible cell phone service) who instantly felt the need to tell me that it was a 45 minute trip he was making from San Antonio. Knowing there is an Overhead Door company only 10 minutes from me, I tried to confirm if he was ACTUALLY from Overhead Door (and not some contractor), I couldn't make out what he was saying, just the bad attitude, but I kept the service call anyhow.
When "Hymee" arrived, I said "Hello", he replied, "Here for your garage door". So now I SAW the poor attitude and knew then this wasn't going to go well. I observed he had no company shirt, ID or company name on his truck, so I asked are you with Overhead Door? He replied, "No, I'm with Overhead GARAGE Door, I told you this on the phone!
Choice words were shared about his behavior and then I told him I'm not having you repair my sensor. However, even though he (and his company) didn't deserve it, I paid the service call fee, because I was partly responsible for the issue. After he left, I called the company and asked to speak to a manager about the situation and when I wouldn't give the nature of my complaint to the person that picked up the phone, I got bad attitude from him too and was placed on hold.
After a few minutes, he returned to say a manager was not available and he will call me back when he is. As of this post 24 hours later, no call. MORAL: Call OVERHEAD DOOR, not Overhead GARAGE Door.

Chris Flores was exceptionally polite and fit us in earlier than expected. Chris answered all of my questions and was incredibly knowledgeable and troubleshooted the problem instantly. The issue was at my Father's house who is currently overseas, had no issues from start to finish. I called and on the same day my garage door was fixed! If you get Chris you are in good hands. Good job Chris! Keep doing what you are doing Sir!

So far, they haven't arrived. I asked for a morning appointment and was told I could have one in 6 days. I agreed. I called them at 9:30 this morning to find my appointment rescheduled for 3:00. I called them just before 3 to find that now my appointment is 4/4:30. A professional service keeps promises and if there is a problem calls the customer.
I am hoping the work is done well -- certainly better than the customer service department does theirs. On edit: The tech was polite and did a fast and thorough job. It works! That counts for a lot. Hopefully the service reps will learn a little about customer service. Had to call them out 2 weeks later due to a noisy door -- they were on time and pleasant/professional. Thanks! Issue fixed in moments.

They cancelled one appointment and then said the council another one and said they already had the measurements charge me $100 then they asked me what color garage door I wanted I told him I wanted the same one then they said they had a look up and see what color I had it just goes to show that they can't even show up and expect to get paid they got away with $100 of my money be careful they're just out to get your money worst customer service I've ever came across I would not recommend them to anyone so anybody that's looking for a new garage door be careful they will try to rip you off

All the parts you need. Would be 5 stars if the staff was friendlier. Pretty gruff in fact and I was the only customer in the store. Not sure if they would (or even could) be better if I was spending more but even big buyers will eventually just need a new remote. They should get the same level of service.

One guy arrived and removed our 28 year old wooden garage door all by himself. Then he installed the new metal door with insulation ALL BY HIMSELF! Everything was new, railing, springs, and door. The door was professionally installed and reasonably priced (about $600 for a two car garage door). The ONLY complaint we have and the ONLY thing keeping them from five stars is they were about an hour late.
We were the last appointment of the day, so I guess this happend sometimes. I would DEFINITELY recommend them and use them again. Who needs Angie's List when you have Yelp - remember, it's not just for food peeps!
