Door Factory

Went there for a door slab for my bathroom, they quoted $2800 just for supply, I replied I think you misunderstood I dont want all of my doors replaced. Thieves

They are refusing to replace my doors and the warranty was voided because they cut my doors down, they did not tell me this voids the warranty otherwise I WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED HERE. Claims because I put a black finish on the door I cant have warranty no where on their website or PLASTPROS warranty does it state that. I TOLD HIM FROM DAY ONE I WAS PLANNING ON DOING A DARK BROWN/ BLACK FINISH. REFUSUAL TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AFTER 2 YEARS IVE BEEN HAVING ISSUES ON THE DOORS SINCE 1 MONTH INTO INSTALLATION. THE 4,000 HARDWARE I PURCHASED FROM THEM -EMTEK- IS ALL FALLING APART FINISH IS COMPLETELY GONE (ALSO DOESN'T TAKE RESPONSIBILITY).

Not only do they refuse to take responsibility he wants me to pay LOL 4500 dollars to re-install doors and has given me the run around since OCTOBER OF LAST YEAR TO TAKE ANY ACTIONS. these doors CONSTANTLY have issues The doors ARE NOT functional the install is so bad they dont open/close properly or lock. I PAID 24K FOR DOORS AND CANNOT EVEN LOCK THEM OR USE THEM HOW EMBARRASSING IS THAT.

Their demeanor and they have the audacity of blaming me because of the finish I have for the doors WHEN YET OTHER COMPLAINTS SHOW HOW UNETHICAL THEY ARE. These doors are literally falling off the hinges. These are suppose to be impact doors they are ABSOLUTE TRASH. Because of the cuts they did the doors are completely expanded and un-useable. Now I have to hire an attorney just to get my money back, and wait for them to reimburse me over 20,000 dollars for the lowest quality impact doors south Florida has to offer.

Not only is the finish not included with your purchase but they are very sneaky and shady I would NEVER do this to anyone in my life. I wouldn't recommend this company even to my worst enemy. YOU ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY AND SHOULD BE ASHAMED. NOT TURN KEY, EXPENSIVE, OVER PRICED, BAD QUALITY. 24,000 DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN. Thanks a lot Lenny. update: I have reached out several times no one that works there cares.

DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR DOORS TWICE. Look at the review photos they speak for them selfs the doors falling apart. Never honoring their warranty what a nightmare! 20,000 down the drain. Never would shop here again.

Giving these guys 5-stars due to their honest sales rep and customer service! My boyfriend and I were looking for a hollow wooden 2-panel door so we checked this place out since we heard it has a lot to offer. No appointment. Just a walk-in and someone was quick to help us and show us around. They ended up having the exact door we needed in stock but it turned out to have some water damage. Now, instead of the rep lying to us or creating a story to make the sale, he was 100% honest and told us it's not worth it.

For transparency purposes, my boyfriend and I did not have any work or installations done through this company so I can't speak on their construction/contractor quality, BUT despite not being able to find a replacement door at their warehouse, they still helped us narrow down our options and provided suggestions outside their shop. Anyone from South Florida KNOWS how hard it is to find good customer service so thank you again for your honesty and offering us other solutions.

You never made anything right it's been 3 years and I had to pay 4000 dollars to get an attorney involved this place is a nightmare terrible piss poor quality and horrible customer service owner doesn't care about anyone but himself!

Gorgeous work! We ordered a "custom" hurricane proof front door. We brought in a photo of the design we wanted and they matched it perfectly. We dealt with Ryan in the front office and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. The installer Steve was also very knowledgeable, so professional and friendly. He made sure to protect our walls and put up protective plastic to ensure the dust didn't get blown into the house while he was doing the install.

They recommended a door finisher to stain the door. we used their recommendation and it's just gorgeous! I would also like to add this was all during the Covid-19 pandemic. Ryan kept us informed along the way and shared what was happening with city permits as they had put a hold for a brief time. He worked with us on the install date and I'm very happy to share we are so pleased. The door turned out beautiful! Thank you everyone at The Door Factory and even those behind the scene! Gorgeous! After having problems with Home Depot, I found The Door Factory. Len and his team made me feel very comfortable. The installation of my new front door is perfect and I would recommend The Door Factory to anyone needing doors.

After messing up our door order and having to re-send a new door, we are having issues with the door and they have been uncooperative in helping us. The door is not of a high quality and we are having several issues overall. They are not pleasant to deal with and should offer better and nicer customer service.

I worked with Ryan on the sales end. I sent him photos of what I wanted. He emailed me pricing and recommend an installer. The installer, Paul, is absolutely fabulous. The job was done within budget and within the time frame promised. And Paul recommend doors based on my need, unlike others who tried to scam me. Ryan sent me very competitive prices that were actually lower than the big box stores.

Now that each door is new and installed, each door closes perfectly. No gaps. I absolutely recommend The Door Factory. No drama, no budget over runs. Very professional and perfect experience.

Would not use again. My wife went to their showroom and picked out a door and hardware. They told her they would have to order the door and wait 6-8 weeks for the permit. I decided to get my own permit. Within 2 days of The Door Factory giving me my paperwork I had hand delivered the permit from the city to them. The guy there seemed so surprised how fast I got it.

He told me the door was still not in and they would call when it was. A week went by.nothing. Another week.nothing. Then my wife called asking what was going on and they told her they spoke to me and told me they would be out in two weeks for the install. Funny thing is they don't have my number nor did they ever speak to me. She asked if they could come out sooner and they told her no.

Then the installer came out. He did a fine job installing the door but broke an outside light that was on a wall. The installers response was "it was old anyway". I called The Door Factory to see what they would do. They told me I would have to deal directly with the installer because he has nothing to do with them. He was an independent contractor. So, will they stand behind his work? Or do i need to go through "their" contractor? Very unhappy.

This "company" is absolutely a bunch of scam artists. I mistakenly used them to supply interior and exterior doors and install them for my commercial project. After a total was negotiated and a hefty 50% deposit was given, I was specifically told by Nick that it would take 6 days for the manufacture of my doors. It didn't take 6 days; it took weeks setting me way behind schedule and preventing me from securing the facility. Additionally, upon the second 50% payment, I was then told that the price didn't include installation and at this point I would've lost my 50% deposit if I cancelled the order.

Upon contracting them, we specifically discussed them doing the installation. What good does a door do for me uninstalled? This was an absolute scam. Now I have to find and pay someone else to install their doors, which will cost me extra money and expected hassle when the installers are a different company than the manufacturers. DO NOT make the same mistake I made!

Stay Away from Nick at The Door Factory. He will lure you in with a promise of good pricing and quick turnaround, but in the end, it will cost you time and scam you out of your hard-earned money.

Lenny was a great help with my custom French doors. He helped me pick out modern finishes and knobs. He was great.

I went to the store looking for a new front door, not really sure of what I wanted. Nick showed me some options and then I saw it! The door! It was reasonably priced and high quality, so I ordered it and had it installed. The installer was courteous, on time and did a great job. I love my new front door! A friend recommended The Door Factory to me and I am glad they did. I will be recommending them, too.

I called to make an appointment for an estimate, and was told I needed to come to showroom to pick out the door first. I went to the showroom, and I have never in my life been treated so rudely. I also have never made even one YELP complaint, against a company in my life, but I will now. Whomever this "young salesman" they have is ( I think it is the owner's son) they should take a serious look at how he is treating their potential customers.

We were greeted quickly as "his" desk is right next to the front door. After a brief explanation of our needs.he went right into his rude "Sales pitch". Basically they will not come to your house to make ANY estimate prior to getting a deposit! According to this dude, "It is, what it is"! You have to pick out your door and give them a significant deposit, then they will book your measurement and installation appointment.

After they have your deposit, apparently they may change your "door selection" according to measurements, at their will. So basically they want a check first, and THEN an open invitation to increase their estimate, at their will, once they get to your house! Say WHAT?! He also had the nerve, to just pick up the phone to answer an incoming call, in the middle of our conversation, without any apologies for the interruption.

Someone needs to teach this guy some curtesy and professionalism. On our way out, as he could obviously see my displeasure by this point.he says loudly " We have been doing business this way for over 40 years, and it has worked out fine for us"! Well ok then. Keep on Keeping on Pal.but not with my money!

My husband and I were reluctant to buy from here because of the reviews but after walking in and meeting the owners, we felt very comfortable with making our purchase. They were extremely helpful and courteous. We got exactly what we were looking for at a great price! We decided to share our review since their reviews are old and not a true representation of the service we received! Thank you Lenny & Fern!

I was nervous setting out to purchase doors to replace my existing sliding glass doors with French doors. I found The Door Factory online and went in to inquire about my openings. I was greeted by Arnie and Lenny. Arnie showed me some options and talked to me about hurricane glass. Lenny joined in and asked me about blinds in the door (awesome!) and we replaced our 9 foot and 6 foot sliders with French doors. Lenny engineered the new doors so they would open the direction that I wanted.

I am sooooo happy with my new hurricane glass French doors with blinds in them! I am not nervous to buy doors any more! Now, if only I could convince my husband that our front door needs to be replaced - I know I'll go back to The Door Factory!

What a God awful business I ordered 6 doors with the company and dealt with Nick, the owner. He appeared nice at first, but a rude person he really is. Calls go un-returned. Nick forgets what he promises. He would confuse me with someone else. The installers complain that installation quote was too low. They, too, don't follow up with their calls.

After four weeks of waiting I went to the showroom to inquire about my order only to be confronted by Nick and his son who threatened to call the police and get me thrown out of their showroom. He also threatened to to kick my a**. When I asked them to give me my $1,500 deposit back if they can't deliver and install the doors. Nick replied " f**k no." I have no idea how this situation will play. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE PEOPLE. YOU'LL HAVE A BETTER EXPERIENCE AT A FLEA MARKET.

I had a bad experience w/ the door factory. I had problems with what we ordered, it didn't fit correctly when installed. When I contacted them for assistance, initially it seemed like they were going to help, but they never did and later nobody would answer the phone or return my calls. Awful. After hours of trying to manually plane it myself, it's still not right, a lo hecho pecho.

We spent over $20,000 on custom doors to have them all the wrong size. Lenny assured me that they would get the correct size and have them in a few weeks. Without our knowledge Lenny never pulled a permit and we were fined by the city. He never ordered the correct size doors and we were out $20,000. All of our calls went unanswered by Lenny and his partner Nick. Paul the man who installed the doors said this happens quite often. Go to Home Depot and get a great product with great installers.

My experience with the Door Factory was excellent. I called up looking for a place last week to get three doors in a hurry. I knew what I wanted and did it over the phone site unseen. Lenny could not have been more helpful in placing my order and had the doors delivered in three days as promised. There was one problem, I gave him the wrong measurements and needed to return the doors! without hesitation, Lenny was able to get me the right sizes and my beautiful doors are in place today. That is how business is done, a happy customer. Get your doors from people who know doors!

We walked in on a Saturday ready to buy doors for our house. The two older men who were working at the time barely greeted us and told us to take a seat. One of them passed us several times to get something from his office and he didn't say "hello" or "thanks for waiting" or "we'll be with you in a moment". We were ignored for 30 minutes while they finished with their current window shoppers.

Just as one of the guys finished up, a young couple comes in and he goes right up them with the "hi, how can I help you today?" We had to go tell him we'd been waiting for half an hour to see him! We told him we wanted a back door and a front door and he says "oh well here is our cheapest door, it's used so it's a good deal." I was very offended.

We gave him no indication that we wanted a cheap, used door. This was especially insulting after watching him spend half an hour showing the previous people all the different doors with their nice options. I wanted a French door to the backyard and we wanted both to be impact doors. We came in expecting to get nice doors and we were ready to buy that day.

He assumed we were looking for something cheap without even talking to us? We could have gone to Home Depot for that kind of service! The office is disgusting. Everything is very old and run down. They have a soda vending machine in the waiting area, I guess to squeeze a couple of extra bucks out of their customers. The drop tile ceiling was covered in dust. Everything looked grimy. Don't bother going there. Stick to Home Depot and just hire a handy man.

TERRIBLE customer service, shoddy quality, a waste of money and time, will never go back.

Horrible Paid to have the Door Factory make a set of custom doors for our office. Upon installation, the doors didn't fit correctly, so I was given the number for the owner's son "Nick." He came by and said it would be relatively easy to fix, promised to get back with us to arrange to get it done, and then radio silence. No returned calls after multiple messages, no contact whatsoever.

Just a rude operator, also named Nick, who obviously isn't passing messages along and could care less. I emailed the elusive owner, haven't heard anything yet. Stay away from this place!

If I could I would give them zero stars! The rudest people I have ever come across! I called and asked if they had wood stainable doors and was told I needed to come into the store to see their stainable doors. I drove all the way from Kendall, FL to be shown a fiberglass door that imitates wood and is only paintable! But even after that I was considering the doors and asked about a sidelight.

Because I couldn't understand contractor terminology the guy flipped out and was super aggressive. I was already a little scared from how dirty the place was but after he started getting aggressive and yelling I got out of there ASAP!

The Door Factory is an excellent company to buy doors the staff is wonderful especially Arnie. Lenny the Owner will make sure you are more than satisfied with their service wonderful experience!
