C & W Garage Doors

Someone from this company was doing some work for a neighbor, so I asked if he could look at my garage door and tell me if they could fix it. It hadn't been working with the automatic opener for 20 years, and my wife and I had just never gotten around to dealing with it. He showed me what I needed to do to fix it myself, and I took his card so I could call them if the DIY fix didn't work. With $2 worth of nuts and washers from the hardware store, and 15 minutes of work, I had the door repaired. Yay, what a nice guy!

We had a great overall experience with C&W garage doors. They were on time, presented themselves well, and held up their end of the deal. We are very happy with garage doors!

I've been meaning to write this review for a very long time-pre pandemic. They installed my 2 garage doors when nobody else could or would. My garage doors are boat size and it was a custom job, but they didn't charge me a custom price. I love the job they did, openers work great, and I am still happy with their beautiful work. Thank you.

I had been calling them continuously and just getting recorded message that we are having heavy call volume, and they don't return call. Will keep trying again as there is no other option to get service attention.

Warren came out and was very professional and advised me on why my garage door was making excessive noises. He scheduled Oscar to come out and repair my door. Oscar came this week and thoroughly revamped my door installation and installed rollers, bottom insulation bumper, light bulbs, and gave me excellent service. I would highly recommend this garage door service for any work repairs you need and or replacement door for you garage.

What can I say? Bellissimo garage door. Wonderful install by Oscar who was professional and meticulous. I appreciate his calm demeanor, especially when teaching me the new controls for the door opener. I highly recommend C&W & Werner for their high quality products and spectacular service. Appointment was 3pm today, but Werner calls saying he's delayed and will come at 4pm instead. I contact him at 4:10pm because no one has arrived and he answered the phone saying he's still at the office and will leave to drive over to my house with arrival around 4:45pm. He's basically almost 2 hours late to his original appointment.

I don't understand why they even bother to schedule appointments they can't even make on time. The schedulers need to coordinate with Werner because your business seems very unreliable and a mess. We really think Costco needs to evaluate their relationship with this company because they are going around saying "I am Costco" when that's pretty bogus.

When did "An Amarr garage door consultant " become synonymous with "Costco"? The Costco brand and 10% shop card is what got us interested in getting a quote. We already have 3 quotes from local companies with 5 star Yelp ratings. My husband asked how much for a 1/2 HP motor and Werner spent a few minutes explaining motors are no longer measured in horsepower but Newton.ok professor.

Before revealing his quote for the motor, he asked to see competitor pricing which my husband showed him. Then he said cheapest option is an lift-master unit ( $531 installed after shop card 'discount' ). He reluctantly gave that price after what seemed like endless lines of questioning, going on tangents to say he install motors that will lift 600 pound doors ( average doors are 200 pounds) and talking down at the competition (who has hundreds of reviews and 5 star ratings).

After Werner seemingly exhausting effort to measure out a standard sized 2 car garage door and standard sized single garage door, which he recognized to be Amarr brand. He went on logorrhea of different options, 24gauge steel versus 25 gauge steel, color options and skyline options that may vary the pricing. He just won't give a straight answer for a quote to replace our current doors which are older Amarr garage doors with insulated steel frame with skyline frosted glass.

To cap off the crazy encounter, he asked my husband to read a paragraph from a sheet of paper in his briefcase stating price increases of Amarr garage doors. Apparently prices are going up by 25% next week. But Sir, stop beating around the bush and tell us what that price quote might be already instead showing us the fact that steel prices has tripled.

If you enjoy beating around the bush, draining conversation about current power nomenclature of garage door motors, a lesson about the crisis in our steel industry, and 2 1/2 hours of free time.give them a call. Review written by my husband.

C&W exceeded our expectations with the new Amarr garage door and powerful yet quiet Liftmaster opener. Hugo Trejo did a fantastic installation job - professional, polite, on-time and knowledgeable. When the doors& openers arrived, Oscar was very flexible with our installation date. Oscar also did an AMAZING job with the installation. Our garage door broke and we went with C&W to replace our doors. I couldn't be happier! They came out and gave us a great quote with a 15% Costco gift card so the price couldn't be beat. Since our door was broken, they sent a technician to come temporarily fix the door so we could use it while the garage doors were being made. It was only $90.

They kept me up to date on the timeline and approximate delivery date. The doors got here earlier than promised and they go us right into the cue for installation. The installer Hugo was extremely professional and thorough. The doors look amazing! I highly recommend them!

I am so glad we picked C &W over those companies who spend $$$ on TV ads. The estimate was nice and easy. Owner came with all the documents ready. After looking over the samples, we decided to go with them. The appointment was 0900 and the technician arrived 0900. The door was installed and tested within the time frame they estimated. The work area was cleaned up with zero debris left behind.

Since COVID-19 & working from home, we've gone through a few contractors to work on various projects at home. C & W is one of the best experience we have so far. If they could also do kitchen remodeling.

We were having problems with our garage door opener having intermittent problems. The technician, Justin, showed us the belt that was deteriorating. Our old opener was about 20 yrs. old so we opted for a new opener that has a battery backup (up to new codes) rather than just get a new belt. Justin did a great job. He was efficient, explained all that he was doing and was very courteous, all the while wearing a mask for his & our safety. We would highly recommend C&W Garage Doors for your garage door needs.

Was having a few issues with one of our roll-up garage doors closing on occasion. Kindly, C&W was able to help me solve the problem over the phone. However, I opted to have them come out for a maintenance tune-up for both of our doors. as it had been about 10 yrs since they were installed (by C&W). Justin arrived when expected, and with a courtesy call when he was on the way.

His tune-up was very thorough with checks of more than I had known to expect. Justin was very knowledgeable. When done, he patiently explained all the mechanical and safety adjustments that were made. With that, both doors now open and close much more smoothly and quieter. Well worthwhile to tune-up your garage doors. especially if you can't remember the last time it was done.

Great service! They replaced the bottom panel on our garage after it had been damaged. They were under $100 in price compared to the company that had done the repair to get the garage back on the tracks for us. We had originally had the doors installed with C & W because they are associated with Costco. It was great to know that in a repair situation, they have great prices. Justin was early, communicated well and worked quickly.

Purchased Heritage 3000 doors through Costco. Finalized the order within a couple of hours and completed the installation five days after. Oscar installed the doors for us, he is very thorough and efficient, I can't be any happier for his work. I would recommend C&W to all who needs for a new garage door, look nowhere else.

Worst contractor ever worked with. It even cannot even get the basic color and window style correct even after many rounds of phone calls.

Chris was very professional, punctual, and knowledgable. He changed out our garage door and did a great job! I would highly recommend his company if you are looking to have garage door work done.

We had our doors delayed, which was not C&W fault, but we were never notified, after numerous attempts we were told about the delay. They do not return phone calls or emails until numerous phone calls from us. Once doors were installed. They installed the 2 different windows and we were asked to provide a picture because they installed did not believe it.

Once the email was sent, no response, had to call them and gave me a response (the wrong windows were shipped not C&W fault but they did not realize they installed 2 different windows or that the order was wrong).Very unreliable. Never again, we have sent a formal complaint to Costco regarding Amarr doors and C&W.

Had a new Amarr Heritage 3000 door installed today and could not be happier! Jeff Bennett was my Costco rep, he was super thorough with making sure measurements were perfect. Oscar and his co-worker did the install, they were efficient and got the door up in under two hours. This door is so quiet going up and down, looks great (added windows) and super insulated. As a added bonus got a Costco cash card for $242.

I want to say that CW garage Doors was so helpful to me. I called and talked with Werner and told him that my garage door opener was not working properly. After listening to me he thought I needed a new motor. He gave me a really fair price and so I said yes. 2days later he sent out Jason who checked the door and said I didn't need a new motor it just needed an adjustment which he fixed and saved me a lot of money.

We love our new garage door! Thank you Team C&W! This team walked us through many brands, options and colors. Their expertise and patience was just what we needed. The door arrived with Oscar (highly recommend him too) and he explained the process and got to work. I especially appreciate he took the time to explain all the remotes and buttons. Don't laugh but it is an original 40+ year old wood, no opener kind of door so I needed instructions. Not only was he professional but kind and did not rush. And he cleaned up including wiping the whole door down. Happy Customer!

Our original garage door from 1992 collapsed after I backed out of the garage. Called Costco, and Werner came out that same day to give me an estimate. He listed the options, and I decided it was time to do a replacement. When Justin came out to do the work, he called ahead to inform us of his ETA, was very professional and courteous and did a great job. New garage door and opener look and work great, I was very pleased with the results.
