Certified Windows & Doors

The previous owner of my home had installed windows with this company. I had a leak in one of the windows so I called them first to ask if there was any warranty left or if not to have the window replaced. They told me they would look into it and call me back. I didn't hear from them in days, tried calling them and it would go to voicemail. Not sure if they were screening my number trying to avoid talking to me. One week later and still no call back. Unreliable company.

My wife and I had just purchased our new home, when we needed to redo all of our windows and doors. We were referred to Certified Windows and Doors by a trusted friend. After a thorough consultation, Jim and his team came in while we were on vacation and did everything that we expected. The job was done flawlessly, and we have been so happy with the outcome of the work since we did it two years ago. Having Jim and his team do everything while we were on vacation was a bit of a nervous moment, but after coming back from our trip and seeing everything spotless, clean, and in beautiful condition, we could not be happier with our decision to hire Jim for the job. Needed to replace my windows and doors with hurricane impact. Jim came out to see what we needed to order, he was very knowledgeable about his products as well as the process for permits, etc., he was patient and gave us a reasonable price - windows came in timely and his crew installed everything quickly and efficiently - they were pleasant to work with and cleaned up everything nicely. Would highly recommend.

We had shutters for our windows and sliding doors but putting them up every time a storm threatened was just way more time and effort than it was worth. We have 9 windows, 1 single door off the garage, 1 french door in front and 12' french doors in the back. It took forever to put up the shutters and it seemed that there was always something missing.

After one event ended with a visit to the emergency room, we decided to look into impact windows. There are many vendors in the business so I asked around for recommendations. Certified was the only positive recommendation I found. The sales process was informative with no pressure and the price was competitive with other companies. The installers were prompt, polite and neat.

The inspection went well and the windows have been problem free for several years now. The windows and doors are incredibly solid and we immediately noticed how much quieter it is inside now. I think the best part is that when a storm threatens, we no longer worry if we'll have time to put up the shutters.
