I am very disappointed about SoftLite's handling of "life-time" warranty. The previous owner of our home installed Soft-Lite windows, and based on the paper warranty document from Soft-Lite we have, we can transfer the warranty to us. Soft-Lite claims it should be done within 6 months of a home title transfer, but such a specific time frame is NOT written on the paper warranty we have. Asking for clarifications from Soft-Lite by email, and asking if it still can be done as nothing to that effect is in the written document, one staff member confirmed to me 10 days ago, by email, it could be still done, as long as it is done by the previous owner.

So I went through the trouble of searching, contacting, and meeting the previous owner and we filed online a warranty transfer request. Soft-Lite now says, I quote, "the employee is no longer working here and unfortunately, they provided you with erroneous information with regards to our warranty transfer timeline.". A good company would honor what staff said 10 days before.

If a staff gives wrong information, which can happen, I would expect a company to show some leeway and try to work with a customer. But that is NOT the case here. I am greatly disappointed.

Those people at softlite windows are fantastic. Ive seen many beautiful windows there. Very very nice

To much walking and you're on your feet the whole day except for break and lunch not for a person 50 or older

Purchased 15 dbl hung windows and sliding door from WindowNation in September, 17 of the sashes and both slider panels came with tilted and sagging grids and WindowNation was quick to acknowledge replacement was needed. BUT-4 MONTHS LATER we are still waiting on one sash and 2 slider panels. #4 attempt on the slider arrived this week and was unacceptable at WindowNation. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN SOFT-LITE AND THEIR ABILITY TO MAKE SQUARE GRIDS! STILL WAITING.

They work their employees to hard on the assembly line for low pay. Management does not take complaints seriously and plenty of employees have been hurt because of the negligence of HR and upper management.

My company has used Soft-Lite now for 6 years. Soft-Lite is an excellent supplier with great customer service. When there has been manufacturing flaws, although rare, Soft-Lite has always been fast and courteous in finding a solution to problems. Soft-Lite has allowed us to maintain a turn around time of around 4 weeks from order to install. Out of the many manufacturers out there experiencing the same labor challenges Soft-Lite has maintained quality and customer service. Thank you Soft-Lite!

Well for all of the drivers it is a very clean and well-lit place no overnight parking but they do have clean restrooms

Great Company! Windows were shipped on time and without incident. They look and perform perfectly!

Why does it take so long to get my windows. Order was placed through Legacy Remolding Pittsburgh PA on May 14th and they still have not received them.

My wife and I had a set of windows and a patio door installed by Zen Windows back in May-June of 2015; they were custom made from Soft-Lite. They've been in for two years and we have not had one single problem with them (they've helped over the winter, decreasing our heating bills). They're of excellent quality and with the warrantee they offer, it was second to none. We're happy with the windows and patio door and have recommend the windows and patio door to several of our neighbors if they are ever looking to get them replaced.

We had our windows installed in Dec. The windows were supposed to be ordered in end of sept. The windows leak the locks on the window have already been broken. The screens are cheap bugs come right though them. We have sliders in the bedrooms and the security locks are covered with frame and cannot be open. The company Home Performance Alliance is the company we went through never calls back. Has wrote up wrong installation information so they have never passed code.

I have called at least 100 times no exaggeration maybe even more. They do not call back they blame it on other people it is a never ending circle. Take note this is very bad for the soft lite name. I recommend that someone in the soft lite company ban Home performance alliance company. Please feel free to contact me so I can get some help so i can say something positive about these windows

I called and had a person stop by for a quote, the guy was named Marc Iannotti in Orlando. Said he was going to give me a quote but never did. When I called him as a follow up, he said "oh yeah, I was really busy. I'll get back to you tonight." I guess he thought I was too poor or was racist or something. Who knows? Considering this level of service from just an estimate?

I think I'll pass. If you have lots of money and look like you're okay to get taken for a ride, give these guys a try. All I wanted was a quote. Not even a ballpark was given! Supposedly Marc said that "These are high end windows." Marc, if you're reading this - bare minimum you should've done is a ballpark if you thought these windows weren't for me. I honestly would've accepted "Look man, from what you've told me, absolutely no disrespect but I think these windows might be out of your price range." Thumbs down.
