These are pictures of my father Gene and his brother, Bob winning sales awards in the late 50's. Gene and Bob sold just about everything before they started Akron Glass Tinting in 1958. Back then, window "tint" was liquid. Using an electric pump, the tint was applied by moving the tube along the top of the window.

The back of my house faces the south with no shade so several windows and a sliding glass door needed tint to protect my interior from the harsh sun. I also wanted privacy film on a set of shower doors. -Al immediately responded to my first inquiry. Was at my home within a couple of days to assess everything. He gave me suggestions and ideas and we chose the perfect option for my home. -His team was scheduled and arrived promptly.
They were very nice, professional and efficient. -It has been over 6 months now since the work was done and I could not be happier. -No problems, does exactly what it was supposed to do and I honestly forget that there is any film on the windows, but on those blazing hot and sunny days I am reminded of how awesome it is to have the film there to protect everything from the sun! - I recommend Akron Glass Tinting 100%. I could not be happier with their product and company!

Have had work completed by Akron Window Tinting as far back as the 1990's. ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL, great results and they stand behind their work. Recently purchased a ground floor condo and with the 3M mirrored tint I have the privacy I desired and hasn't changed the aesthetic from the outside. I did the job in steps and each time the crew has come out, I have been impressed with their professionalism. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to anyone.

We purchased window tinting for all of our south facing windows to help eliminate sun damage in our home. We love the results and wished we had done it years ago. Akron Glass Tinting did a great job.
