Awesome service I don't know why people give him bad reviews. I got my window tinted in Georgia I called different Llumar shops in Ohio to see if they can fix my tinted windows and they all rejected me even when it says it's cover nation wide and they told me to call the 1800 number after getting frustrated I finally called the number and the customer rep told me to call Shades and they will take care of me and I did schedule an appointment and got it done. I have nothing bad to say about Shades the owner took care of me when others didn't thank you Shades I will be back to get my windshield done.

Had an appointment set and when I got to the business it was closed. There was no courtesy call to let me know things had changed. I was willing to make the drive even though there are two window tinting business close by to where I live cause I heard good things about this place.

Dropped off vehicle and waited 5 hours for phone call letting me know that it was done. I finally called and then they tell me the windows are to dirty. Huh? Isn't cleaning the windows part of tinting them? Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend them unless you have a brand new car. Because apparently they need clean windows to do their job.

This is the 5th vehicle I have brought here, Mike has always treated me very well and the cars have always been taken amazing care of and the Tint Quality and his professionalism is top notch. Made an appointment to come in a week and a half later. When I came in I was told they were backed up due to mail service and to make another appointment for the following week. What? If your backed up that day then you push me back a day or two not the next week. I think they bumped me back for someone else. Bad time management see other posts.

Amazing quality and work; they really went above and beyond. This is actually the third vehicle I've had tinting done at Shades, and I've had countless vehicles tinted elsewhere before, but this is the only place I will take my vehicles to now. It is a smaller family operation so be patient when trying to get an appointment; the wait is worth it, and often not very long anyway. 5 stars! Many thanks!

Although the price was really good and the quality of the tint and job is fantastic. I am a little bit upset, this is because when taking my car to get tinted I was dead set on 5% on the back windows and 15% on the front. When I told them thats what I wanted and understood it was illegal and I would sign the waivers the owner told me the darkest they carried was 35%.

I was upset but i figured that would probably be the best I would get in the area. However after reviewing previous vehicles on Shades facebook page, I saw several vehicles tinted to 15%-5%. So this upset me but other then that its a decent place. Edit: Upon having the tint job for almost a year I have noticed several cuts that are jagged and bleed into the visible parts of the windows.

I was able to make an appointment for the very next day. The service was friendly and they took the time to help me make my decision on the shade and type of window tint. The price was quite reasonable and it only took about 40 minutes to complete. I would certainly recommend this shop to my friends and family.

This is my third car to be tinted here and all I can say is customer service is number one. The attention to detail here is perfect. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I even had him put on a clear bra to insure the paint would last longer. Very good price and excellent work. I highly recommend Shades for you Tinting and Clear bra needs, they also sell built in Radar Detectors and install them. If you are in the need for getting your windows tinted, give them a call.

I have had Mike tint all my cars for the past 23 years. I have put him in some challenging positions and he has always managed to fulfill my needs. He makes sure the job is right in a reasonable time and done right. His prices have been spot on as well. There are some people that can do it cheaper with cheaper film but after 5 plus years mine is still black not purple. A+++++++
