Enloe Residential

Bad bad customer no-service from Enloe Residential siding. After they vetted me twice to be sure I was "the decision maker, " they didn't show up at 10am. I called and was told a rep would call me. 20 min later I called back - phone svc hung up - call back ask for manager - 8 min on hold and hung up - call back phone svc hangs me up - call back and scheduler Walter hears me out but has no answers.

I tell him to pass my issue to managers Larry or Cody and see if either of them have the guts to call me back - and go ahead and cancel my appointment. I won't be doing business with them.

Originally bought our windows about 1.5 years ago. If I remember correctly, they did a poor job with communication and my husband had to call them several times to set up a time for install. Recently, January-ish time frame, I called because I noticed one of the windows wasn't sitting correctly and I wanted someone to come and take a peak at it so that it could be fixed.

It took several weeks before I got that scheduled and when they came out we were told they were all installed incorrectly and they all needed to be replaced. I called at least weekly to get updates and could never get a call back. I spoke to someone at one point and they mentioned the windows just being fixed as to replaced, which I really don't care I just want it fixed, but they said someone else needed to come out to look at them again to see what needed to be done.

Over a month later, someone finally came out and said they could be repaired and didn't need to be replaced and he would get back to us regarding a time. Well it's been another week and I haven't heard anything so I guess it's time for me to call weekly again to try to get them to get this stuff figured out. Very poor communication. Would not recommend.

Pros: Professional crew & work. No problems. Cleaned up mess quickly & thoroughly. I have a very odd shaped roof. They did a good job. Looks nice. Cons: it took a long time between order & installation time (which was not an issue for me, personally, but it was about 2 months? Just FYI). And the salesperson said they weren't the most expensive out there or the cheapest.

I'm not an expert on roof prices but I do feel like they are on the high end of the spectrum. And of course there was the pressure of the salesman who came out to do the estimate saying if I didn't sign up today I'd loose out on getting the promotional offer of "however-much%" off labor if I didn't sign up on the spot.

As a customer of Enloe Residential of Aiken, SC (under Southern Siding), I definitely recommend them for your vinyl siding and gutter system installation. As of August 27, 2019, Enloe Siding COMPLETED the renovation of a disastrous vinyl job replacement started and not completed (STOP WORK) by another contractor, Hixon Roofing, Aiken, SC. The Enloe Siding Installers showed up on the job on time with a City of Aiken Building Inspection Permit.

Two (2) Enloe Vinyl Siding installers completed the renovation of the vinyl siding job on my brick ranch style house in four and half (4.5) working days. Enloe upgraded my medium grade vinyl siding to the premium quality as a little token of my patience and endurance of a bad job I suffered from Hixon's Roofing, Aiken, SC and they upgraded me at no extra cost.

What a BLESSING! Enloe corrected double sheets of siding that the Hixon Vinyl installers left in some places such as the facing of the windows and under the soffit of the house. Enloe had to install vapor barrier on the latest additional room as Hixon Roofing did not install one sheet as city building codes require. In addition, Enloe repaired a rotten wood panel that Hixon Roofing installers had covered up. Enlow installers worked with my surveillance camera installer on drilling holes and pulling some of the cable through the cable openings.

And Enloe has a lifetime warranty on their vinyl siding and gutter system products and a 10-year warranty on labor. They have their own in-house installers so you will get someone from their company for repairs and upgrades (and the same installers), not a bunch of different outsourcing companies with the potential to return to your home to steal and the work looks different each time.

The Enloe shower we had installed to replace an old tub is wonderful. Easy to clean and fits the area perfectly. Southern Siding who installed it did the work in one day, cleaned up continually, and were careful to damage nothing in the small area they were working in. Highly, highly recommend!

Enloe installed gutters with leaf guards around the whole house. The sales rep showed us all of the options with the costs, we selected one and it was installed within 2 weeks. The installers were right on time and stayed late until the job was done. I thought the cost was a little high, but I feel like we got what we paid for - high quality gutters and installation. Since then we've had some heavy rains and there have been no issues. Very pleased!

Sexist incompetents. My wife called to get a quote for gutters. The man, Larry, came and did all the measurements. When he was done, she asked for the quote and he said "I can only give you the quote if your husband is here. If you are married, he has to make the decision". Not believing what she thought she heard, she asked "Really? You don't deal with women?". He said "No. It has to be your husband". She said "You just lost any chance of doing business here. Please Leave Now!" We are considering legal action.

We scheduled an appointment with Enloe to come talk with my wife and I about a new roof and windows. The salesman arrived early and was very knowledgeable about the product and the installation process. We had neglected our project for sometime and were getting estimates to move forward. Enloe was not the cheapest price we received but I believe you get what you pay for. Long story short, this roof is beautiful and I had no idea these windows would keep so much heat out! Very satisfied

I had such an amazing experience with Enloe. I usually don't write reviews but I decided to since my experience was so great and if you are trying to decide which company to go with Enloe is definitely the way to go. They sent a rep named Burke Johnson to our home and he was the most pleasant salesman we have ever come in contact with. He treated us like people, not like a job and he genuinely cared about our concerns for our home and even offered great advice to help complete the entire exterior of our home to look the way we wanted it to.

He explained everything to us about the products and the way this company will handle our home improvement project. We knew Enloe had a great reputation but he took it further and gave us the entire company history and statistics. Our entire experience from start to finish was more than we ever expected from a home improvement company. Great company! Great rep to have in our home, Mr. Burke Johnson is welcome in our home anytime. And it's because of him that we will be recommending Enloe to all our family and friends.

Enloe installed custom gutters on my house. The visit to assess the requirement and provide an estimate went very smoothly. The scheduling of an installation crew to perform the work also went very smoothly and the crew of 2 installers who did the actual work were very professional, did a great job, and cleaned up the work area thoroughly. This was our second time using Enloe for a project at our home and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I just had to write a review of how much I love my windows and gutters! The whole experience was awesome from the professional salesman, Russell, to the end result. He was prompt, courteous and Educated me on the products, price and warranties. Aesthetically, everything looks incredible and the installers were great! I highly recommend Russell and the guys that installed my new windows and gutters!

I used Enloe to install a screened porch and to extend my patio. I have been very pleased with the craftsmanship. I feel that I received a fair price for the service, because I shopped around before I decided to use them. The crew was professional, and they cleaned up behind themselves.

Enloe did an excellent job putting siding on my house. I've had a lot of service providers doing flooring, painting, plumbing, etc. The crew Enloe sent out was by far the best, most knowledgeable, experienced and professional crew I've had on any job.

Great product, company is a struggle to work with. On November 16, 2015 I called Enloe Residential and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. The estimator arrived promptly the next day and gave me an estimate. I agreed to the work and paid a down payment. The estimator indicated I would be contacted to schedule the installation soon. My check cleared my bank two days later.

Unfortunately this would be the last transaction with Enloe that occurred quickly. After a month of not hearing from Enloe, I called the phone number on my contract to inquire as to when the installation would get scheduled. My call was transferred but it went to voicemail. I left a voicemail, giving my name and phone number, address and why I was calling.

A day later my call had not been returned so I called again and left another message. That message was not returned either. I called a third time and left a third message which went unreturned. I gave up and called a different number listed on their advertisements and explained that I had left three messages but no one had returned my calls. I was transferred to the General Manager but had to leave a voicemail.

That message was not returned. I called again the next day and left another voicemail that was not returned. Finally after a week of calling, I was contacted to schedule the installation. No one mentioned my voicemails that went unreturned or explain why it took so long to call me back. The first date for installation had to be postponed due to weather.

Later that day the installer for the soffit repair called to schedule their work. Unfortunately they did not show up that day (due to a family emergency) and since they didn't have my phone number written down, they couldn't call me. The next day they showed up quite unexpectedly and did their work and told me the gutter installer would be at my home later that day, but no timeframe.

Late that day the gutter installer arrived. He apologized for not calling because he did not have my phone number. My check for the down payment cleared my bank in lightning speed, yet it took five weeks to get the work scheduled. Installers that don't have the customer's phone number is obviously a poor business practice. Further, when I call their company they answer as "Southern Window and Siding Company." At this point I'm still not completely sure who I did business with.

Although this company has a great product, they are very frustrating to work with. On the bright side, the installers (who appear to be sub contractors) are very pleasant, professional and courteous. It was NOT their fault that Enloe Residential didn't give them my phone number.
