American Garage Door

Great knowledge of this industry, they offer top-of-the-line down to basic garage doors. Helpful & friendly office, knowledgeable installers, really great price. Happy to have found them. And now I know why my house looks crooked: it is! The new doors are straight, unlike the old ones.

The work of American garage door is deserving of five stars. I subtracted one star for the attempt to charge me an extra $25 or 20% "processing fee" for paying with a check or credit card. Fortunately, I happened to have cash so I was able to avoid that but 20% for a credit card charge which costs the company 1.5 to 3% is rather excessive. On the other hand, their work was very high-quality.

The technician, Dylan, was prompt, knowledgeable and tidy. He even gave me tips about how to care for my garage door and perform regular maintenance to avoid problems in the future. I definitely recommend them, just be warned about the high fees. At the very least, they should notify the customer when scheduling service that not having cash on hand will cost you.

We purchased our garage door from them and had them install it when we built our house 5 years ago. Just the other day, the metal hinge completely broke and pulled away from the door, trapping my car in the garage. We called another company to see about getting it fixed and were told that it wasn't installed properly and additional brackets were NOT placed on each hinge to help raise the door, which is why just 5 years later, it's broken.

You spend so much on a door, only to have to spend it again a few years later when they should last around 18 years. When we called American Garage Door, we were told there was a $120 fee just to have them come look at the issue. The girl on the phone said she would have the owner come look at it and when she placed me on hold to tell him, he refused and said only for $120. You should stand by your work and truly care, like your website and Facebook states, instead of only caring about money.

So my experience with you company is not good. The person that called me to set up my appointment to have my garage reviewed before the order is put in was extremely rude. So I hope that I don't have to deal with that person anymore and that anyone else representing your company is not like that.

Absolutely love my new garage door. The technician arrived on time and tidied up after himself. I can't say enough good things about Paige who helped me all the way through the design process and ensured that I was happy with the final product. I will recommend them to all my friends and family.

American Garage Door company installed our garage door opener. The customer service rep kept me informed on the time and process. The installer Jacques was very friendly and did an excellent job. He even serviced our garage door, and took the time to explain the all the operations to me. He cleaned up everything after he finished and took it away. Great price and great service. Highly recommend!

American Garage Door the WORST. Was 4 hrs late. Left @ 6:30 with broken glass, screws, nails & contents of garage in the driveway. Doors inoperable and one wonky. American installer called at 7:45 p.m. because he forgot his drill & threatened to break into garage to get it. Was told by customer to wait until tomorrow because we were eating dinner. 8:30 American manager arrived with city police to get his drill.

American Manager promised to come fix the sloppy work the next day. Next day American said not available to fix inoperable doors for 5 more days. Home Depot sent Precision Door Service within 24 hours to fix the shoddy work left by American Garage Door. Precision arrived on time and had the doors properly alligned and operable in less than one hour. CALL PRECISION DOOR SERVICE they are the BEST. Run away from American Garage Door, they are sloppy, rude and incompetent.

They were on time and did everything they said they would. The doors are so quite that my dog no longer knows when I'm coming or going. They are also extremely well sealed.

Can't recommend them enough! Great options, friendly people, well priced, and great at communicating! One of our doors was slightly imperfect at delivery, and they handled the problem, supplying a brand new door, without me ever saying a thing! No brainer. use American Garage Door!

This company is awesome! They set up an appt. very quickly, the owner himself came out and repaired my 70 yr old wooden garage door. Very professional and knows his business! Price was more than reasonable! I highly reccomend them! I give this company A+++++
