Never again. Beware. This company restored/repaired woodwork on my house following Katrina in the Spring of 2006. Today I am having to have all that wood replaced and the work done again - because Landrieu Bros did not use properly treated wood. Never again. I would not recommend their work or care for your property.

I had Landeiu Brothers put new siding, fascia and Sophet on my house about a year ago. We had no major issues with the job. the house looked great. Recently we had a hail storm come through and damaged our roof, siding, fascia and gutters. We rehired them to do the repairs on the house. I asked the salesman how long it would take to do the project and i was told about 3-4 days.
We added a few things to their list, but it should have only been an additional 2 more days max. They started on June 30, 2011 and they finished on August 5, 2011. The roofing crew and project manager for the roofing did a great job. There was a communication issue when we started the remaining work. He wasn't informing me when the crew will be on our property working on the house.
When there was some minor issue to discuss and/or to find out the status, he either wouldn't answer the phone, maybe return phone calls, and couldn't answer status questions on the job. I've talked to the owner of the company and the problems still seem to continue. I found out the siding crew that was assigned the job was new to the company.
I lent some of my tools to crew to speed up the process and assisted them with some installation. When the salesman called to find out what was going on. I told him no money was going to be transfered until we sat down and had a discussion and he saw the work that needed to be completed. I meet with the salesman and went over all of the issues we had with the project.
He took over as project manager, reduced cost of the project for the headaches and had one of the experienced crew finish the job. The finish product looks great. My opinion is the expereinced crews have great workmanship, but the company needs to improve in the project management team, specifically the siding group.

I am a New Orleans homeowner and had the displeasure of speaking with Kenny Landrieu today. I couldn't believe how rude he was. He basically told me he was not going to waste his time giving me an estimate because he had given me one a year ago and he thinks I'm wasting his time. He mentioned that he was related to Mitch Landrieu---SO WHAT! Did that have anything to do with me or the work I was getting done. BEWARE of this company! Customer service is not their top priority.
