Desert Rose Door Refinishing

From initial call, to scheduling my job, to finished product was excellent. On time, answered all questions and the four man crew worked their tails off to restore my 15 year old custom door to new condition. Attention to all facets of the project from removal of the door (500+ lbs), removal of custom stainless steel hardware, door pulls, etc., to the refinishing the whole process was seamless. They did a great job. These folks know what they are doing. I highly recommend them.

I cannot praise enough the professionalism of the Desert Rose staff, nor the quality of the services it provides. We needed to have a custom alder antique front door re-sanded, painted and re-sealed, and it had to be done very professionally owing to the wear to the door. Desert Rose did a top-quality job from beginning to end. The end price definitely correlated to the time the job took, as well as the number of staff that was involved. Highly-recommended.

Excellent in a word. Our 21-year old front Oak door had some small vertical cracks in its panels and the blonde stain was fading from weather. My neighbors highly recommend Desert Rose and after reading their 5-Star reviews. We hired them. From my email, to a follow-up email and phone call, their services were professional from beginning to the end.

They set up outside under a tent, removed our front door and taped up clear plastic over the opening. The sawdust from sanding the door was used to make the repairs. They brought us outside several times to be sure we were satisfied as we elected to change colors from light to dark. They customed matched my wife's selections, attached our new hardware and reinstalled it with new weatherstripping. Beautiful. Great job guys!

Just finished getting our front doors refinished by Desert Rose Doors. Our doors are absolutely beautiful - better than new! The guys wore masks, were on time, meticulous, & very professional. The only downside is that we should have done this years ago!

I am so happy, my doors look like brand new, high end doors. I had major concerns because my doors are 40+ year old 'builder' grade fir doors. I wasn't sure what if anything could be done with them. Now they are the focal point of my house.

The Desert Rose Door Restoration Crew did an excellent job! The four members split into crews of two, two working on the frame and two working on the door. They had me come out and check their work periodically which was great. They did an excellent job of cleaning up as if they'd never been here. I highly recommend this company.

We just had our heavy carved oak door and sidelights refinished by Desert Rose Door Refinishing and I could not be more pleased. The door is gorgeous, but it was originally that honey oak color that just screams "1980's!" The new finish is a matte dark walnut, which coordinates beautifully with our dark alder interior doors. Josh and the team were amazing and top notch professionals.

The work took two days, since we had both the interior and exterior done, and the crew was meticulously neat. Our door looks so elegant now. I'm so glad we had this work done! I can definitely recommend this company, which I found to be very honest and straightforward with their estimate. We had Desert Rose Doors refinish our front door. Very pleased with how this company does business and the end result was excellent. The team that came out arrived on time, set up out front, had everything they did down to a science, and the result was absolutely beautifully restored front door that look better than new. Their communication with me before, during and after the process was great. They showed me the color stain/paint as they started to apply it and made sure it was the color I wanted. They were very professional and did a wonderful job.

Josh and his crew showed up at 7:30 AM. Josh went over everything while his crew was putting down protective coverings and building their work station. I let them do their work and I stayed out of their way. They took my double 8' doors off their hinges and brought then to their work station. They put plastic over the door opening, so bugs would not fly in & air conditioning would no go out.

They chemically stripped off all the old urethane and stain. They got to bare wood and began to sand, patch and repair. What they do is very labor intensive besides having the right knowledge and tools. Josh kept everyone working, while he was working. They were like a drill team, each doing their own job. I had to wait 5 weeks in order to get them, but the time went by and the results were worth the wait.

I could not have done what they did and I am mechanically minded. They were not cheap, but worth it. They asked for no money up front, just a payment in full when the job was done. That's such a nice way to treat a customer. I would highly recommend Desert Rose Door Refinshing.

The team of Justin, Jeff and Brad did an absolutely amazing job of refinishing our front door. The previous owner had attempted to make repairs to the damaged door and it looked like it was beyond repair. The team were on time, professional, kept us informed every step of the way and cleaned up after themselves. They were extremely pleasant young men and superior craftsmen! Accessed Yelp in search of a company that could refinish my front door. Located Desert Rose Door Refinishing and they were quick to respond to my request. Their crew did a phenomenal job from start to finish. Though they took the front door off to sand and stain the door, they constructed an enclosed area the kept my house cool and free of dust on a hot summer day. The cost was very reasonable and the door looks great. See for yourself before and after photos posted.

Very pleased with how this company does business and the end result was excellent. Our intricately carved front door was at least 30 years old and in dire need of repair and refinishing. Called Desert Rose on the recommendation of a neighbor. From first contact to completing the job, they under-promised and over-delivered. They had several appointments available and walked me through all of my options, answering any and all questions along the way.

About 5 years ago a gentleman named Bill Lamb refinished our front door and did a fabulous job. Bill is a great guy and I really enjoyed working with him, so I recently tried to find him to repeat his magic. I found him working with Desert Rose Door Refinishing, a business I hadn't heard of. Although a bit unsure of the new arrangement, I engaged the new owners to refinish my south-facing, sun damaged front door.

The work was completed earlier this month, and Desert Rose did a masterful job. Like so many of the folks that have completed Yelp reports for this company, I am well satisfied with the work that was performed. The combination of personal engagement and technical competence is a rare commodity these days, and Desert Rose Door Refinishing is a stand-out. My compliments to their team.
