Very upset with this company. We had a "senior" tech come over to look and fix a couple things with our garage door and it only took about 15-20 minutes from the time he got there to the time he left to fix everything which was odd to begin with. When we had went to look at what he had done we were very upset because all he did was give us three garage door openers and we were charged $300 for 20 minutes!
We called the office because we were upset and 1, the receptionist was an absolute b**** and had no respect for us at all. And 2, we spoke to the manager and she did not care at all that we were upset and were not happy with the service. They only care about making the money and they don't care about their customers or their customers satisfaction. Dans overhead doors definitely lost a few customers today.

I recently purchased a garage door from Dan's. With all of the storm damage from the derecho and supply issues from Covid, Dan's had just what I needed although the big box diy stores were 2-3 months out to order a door. Dan's price was very competitive too. Mike in sales was super helpful and very responsive in his communications and even offered guidance with an installation question.
All in all, this was a very smooth and pleasant business transaction. Thanks to Mike. Years ago, I also had a good experience with Dan. He was very fair and treated me right on a door repair at my house.

We used Dan's Overhead Doors to switch out our garage doors. We originally started with them due to the ability on their website to take a picture of your house and see how the different doors look, which is amazing. From there everything went completely smoothly. All of our questions were answered in the first call, the quote was very reasonable, and everyone we dealt with were very friendly. Not to mention that the doors look amazing. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Long time customer of Dan's Overhead Door but I will NEVER use this company again. I had a service call on 7/28/20 and the garage was never repaired. I call Dan's the same day to figure out why the door had not been repaired. They send the tech out again the next day to repair it. I get my bill in the mail to find out I had been charged for him coming twice. Argued back and forth with a staff member on the phone about being charged twice when he never repaired it the first time. I finally gave up and will eat the additional charge but will use another door company in the future if I have issues. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Now here's a company who knows how treat their customers. Springs on our garage door malfunctioned/broke over the weekend. Their employees deserve weekends/days off like anyone else so we didn't concern ourselves with it until today (Monday morning). They arrived just after noon and had our door fixed and in working order 15-20 minutes later. Very nice employee, prompt service! It doesn't get any better than that. Thank you! I know of a few companies in the area that could take a lesson or two from Dan's Overhead Doors.

The old fiberglass door on our outbuilding finally bit the dust. Contacted Dustin at DOHD and he had a person out the next day to give me an estimate. Once I approved the estimate, they were out within a few days to replace the door, which was a severe safety hazard to my family. Thanks to everyone at Dan's for an outstanding job!

Called them at around 8:00 a.m. and a nice lady answered. I told her that my garage door opener was broken and I can't get my car out of my garage. Told her I was interested in getting a new one. She had a repairman there call me. Told him what I told the lady. Said he would call and have me put on the schedule. Since I didn't want to miss him (and other reasons) I stayed home from work.
At around 4:30, I called the repairman to ask when he would would be there or if it would be the next day. He answered me very rudely and said that I was not on his schedule and I'd have to call to schedule the next day. I asked if he was the same guy I talked to around 8:00 a.m. that morning. He said that, yes, he was. This repairman cost his company the sale of a new opener and an otherwise loyal customer.
I am done with this place. I do not intend to ever call them them again. Also, my mom was in Mercy Hospital and I had an important drs. appointment the next day, but I couldn't get my car out of the garage.
