Called them this afternoon worried about a stuck garage door with the massive storm coming and snow blower in garage. Could not have been nicer promising me a person would be over "some time" tomorrow afternoon. Shocked, used them on a project this summer and they were scheduled weeks out. That job was completed very well, technician and gentleman in office couldn't have been better. Surprised at the negative commentds

I know the pandemic has caused supply-chain issues that have particularly hammered the garage door industry. However, the lack of any information regarding the door that I ordered 7 months ago and lack of any outreach from the vendor is shocking. How does an international corporation function without being able to tell you where your product is in the process?
The door was originally anticipated in late August and it's now mid-December within nothing from the vendor but silence. I have never received any outreach from them - any contact to get status of my order has been initiated by me. That's incredibly poor customer service.

I hesitate to give them even 1 star. Don the Salesperson is terrible. I've worked with him in the past and found his service to be less than average. My current project he has completely dropped the ball. Failed to come by and look at the job as he said he would. There are too many other options for garage doors to put up with this nonsense. I'm DONE with Overhead Doors!

Terrible service from DSI Overhead Door Company! I wouldn't even give them one star but I was unable to write this review warning of their horrible service with no stars. I called the office this afternoon after my garage door was hit and knocked off its track. Called Overhead Door and spoke to the receptionist Olivier and told her of my problem. She asked me to email her photos which I did right away.
She made a call and came back on the line l and said a tech was in the area and would be able to come today. I was impressed that they could come out so quickly I canceled my afternoon appointments and sent my brother in-law home. He came over to help me get my car out of the garage and close the door so it wouldn't be wide open all night it is going to really cold tonight.
After waiting a few hours and no tech I called the office again and the answering service said that there would now be an extra $150.00! since it was now after hours and was considered an emergency call. I explained that when I called earlier the receptionist said that a tech was in the area and would be right out. If I was told that I would be charged the additional fee I would have gotten my door down with help and waited until they could come or called other companies in the area.
I did receive a call from a tech around 6:30 telling me he would come out but, it would be about $300 travel time Auburn to Saco and this does not include the work to the door. I told him never mind and I would take it up with the office in the morning. He called back again about 10 minutes later to tell me a guy named "John" he was scheduled to repair my door and will stop on his way home. Its now 8:50 pm, guess John isn't coming? Hope this helps the next person.

Called about ordering two new garage doors for my home. Left two messages on the salesman's office phone and two in his cell phone. Never got a call back. Extremely poor service all around. There are way to many other garage door companies who provide great service in the area to waste your time with this provider.
