This has been a very stressful experience for me as a new home buyer. Beautiful black windows with large frames all damaged; scuffs chipping discoloration. Took about three weeks to get ahold of the proper employee to start the warranty process. Need all window sashes replaced and sliding door sash/ tempered glass as glass had gnarly scratch (detected by serviceman).

First trip up to the house sashes are damaged beyond anything I've seen. The service man was embarrassed and stopped opening the sashes as each one was in progressively worse condition. He called his manager and stated new sashes would be ordered with an improvement In quality control measures. They send out a painter from New Jersey to paint window frames. Did a good job, some overspray but it was cleaned up relatively easily.

Six weeks later arrives at my house to replace sashes. The company ordered the wrong type of glass for the window sashes. They come up to install sliding glass door tempered glass and the panel had a different appearance compared to what was originally installed (wife is not happy!). So now I have to wait who knows how long to get replacement sashes installed and a new door sash with glass.

It really is an inconvenience to take off work, clean up, and hope indoor window trim does not get damaged as anything is possible. Matt and Cody have been pretty good. They've taken accountability, respond relatively quickly, and it seems their quality control has improved as new sashes with incorrect glass type appeared undamaged (paint was intact with no defects).

I've read the responses to one star reviews and feel better that quality control is a primary focus. I will update this review once the work is complete. I want to love the product as the windows are extremely efficient with an amazing look. but this experience has really deterred me from wanting to install their painted products again. Will update this review when warranty work is completed. Update: 99% of the imperfections corrected by techs. Matt is top notch.

Just waiting on a sliding door. I love these windows and hope quality control issues going forward are resolved. Last picture includes repainted trim, two new sashes that were resprayed. Thank you Paradigm.

Product Quality is terrible. Windows were shipped directly from paradigm with broken frames. Called customer service and no one returns my phone calls. It seems neither John nor Cody know what they are doing or care about their customers.

Special ordered special color sdl windows. All the windows came in damaged from the manufacturer. Some frames were broken and all had scuffs, scrapes and dents. Some even had excessive welding marks and globs. No one from paradigm is getting back to me. I have called and emailed Cody multiple times with no response.

Very nice window so far. just had them installed. The screens leave a lot to be desired though (pretty lame if you ask me). We got them (screens) just for the lower window on each unit. For the price of the window they could have done much much better on the screen. sorry 5 stars for the window 1 for star for the screen.

I added a paradigm window to our VT home on the advice of our carpenter 2 years ago. Clean look, very easy to use, no condensation and has held up very nicely in the VT winters. We now plan on adding them to our CT home.

DO NOTE BUY THESE WINDOWS! I have condensation on the inside of the windows ad midpoint. The grids are badly skewed. The night latches are badly skewed. Skewing is perfectly equal on all windows. The release on the outer edge of the top of the lower window, that is moved to raise window- does not spring back. Corners are notched when they cut the excess white insulation strip. "TAPE" in between panes at inner edge is crimped from tightly held dispenser, also has MANUFACTURER/ DATE of tape printed ON THE TAPE. tape is poorly glued in and falling down. ON outer casing, they forgot a wrap around vinyl part where the channel of the window slides up/ down. (I was told this will not be fixed.).

Cold air blowing in up the sides in this channel. Edges of bottom lip were badly cut and sharp. One screen with a cut, not from installation. Insulation and glue oozing from sashes. Seal broken on bay window. The service rep showed up unannounced. Swore he spoke with me the prior week and confirmed the appointment. IMPOSSIBLE. I was in the NY mountains out of cell range.

To his credit, he returned at scheduled time, acknowledged the issues, was very polite under the circumstances, and will send notes to the company. Lawyers are ready, local news consumer advocate division are following and ready. Hoping they will never sell another window in the Philadelphia area. LATER ADDITION. And the vinyl casing is badly scratched. looks like from sliding down the production line on flat surface, not wheels.

Not very noticeable during day, but in evening with lamplight, these windows look 50 years old. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE WINDOWS! It will be 25-35 degrees next week and I have air blowing into my house. 3-4" of condensation at midpoint. I replaced my old windows because of 1/4" condensation, and had to use Frost King insulation tape $12k later, I'll be taping up these windows. over the weekend. (Did I mention the glass is thin and the screening material is the lowest end grade?) The vinyl itself is cheap, also, and I have two small window air conditioner window units that these cheaply made windows will not hold without bending.

My house is OLD and central AC is not an option. It will be a very hot summer. I told my contractor that the old windows were "old and cheap", he installed "new and cheaper". I should've kept my 13 year old windows. Later- They said "you can't see the manufacturers writing from 6-8' away" pertaining to the black stamp (date/name) on the white material in between panes of glass.

My house is configured so all furniture is under or with 2 of windows. 2nd set of windows came. Some wrong sized, some wrong grid count. ALL Grids crooked. Not as bad, but for $12k? Not working. ADDED- Manufacturers info DEEPLY ETCHED in every corner of every piece. 2" x 3/4" angled. Glaring on sunny days. Most are very large windows and are focal point of room.

It can be seen from 15 ' away. Tried compounding and razor blading it off. Nothing worked. And white material between panes of glass is now silver woven reflective material. SILVER. Solution? All new windows are being put in with ANOTHER manufacturer.

In 2005-06 we purchased 23 windows from paradigm, had great service and the windows were perfect. It worked out to our advantage for resale when we sold that house. Over the last three years we have installed six new windows in our home, one broke when we opened it for the first time and we have gone three months and still haven't had it fixed, unable to open the window all summer. We have received few apologies and no offer of compensation. We still need about twenty new windows replaced in our house, they won't be paradigm.
