When I got there, they pulled my truck right in, I got a great deal these guys are awesome, appreciate the work they do, and I can't tell you how awesome it is to have a remote start when it is 0° out with the wind blowing!

I kind of happened into this business because everyone was so packed for installation of alarms and tint. They're gonna be my go to from now on for all things customization. I spoke with John and also Randy really needing a favor for an installation that I was not able to complete. They were more than helpful and as I waited I realized that this is the place that I should have been going all along.

After dealing with their car audio installer I realize that not only were they pleasant customer service folk but they were also very experienced. John, Randy and the 2 installers whose names I remember once I send this review thanks again. See you next Friday 8-14-20 for more work to be done.

Great experience here at ameristar. Called about a 100 different places looking for a opening to swing in to get my truck windows tinted and ameristar was the only shop that was kind enough to squeeze me in with zero notice and that ment alot to me with my work schedule, just happened to have the afternoon off and had really been wanting this done since I bought my vehicle almost 3 years ago so very appreciative. I had my vehicle tinted at this business and when i got my car back i noticed some kind of clear glue like stuff on my back driver side door that wasn't there before and when i went back to ask them about it they told me it was and i quote"paint" that was not there when i dropped off my car and once i got it home i started to check it out more and it chipped off clear, i'm guessing they got some type of glue on my car and didn't want to tell me i will be back in to have them fix there mess up because i had another tint shop tell me exactly what it was. the tint on my vehicle is good but the service is very unprofessional and they don't seem to care about their customers cars at ALL,

We had a hitch installed for a bike rack and they did a great job. Two years later, I needed to tow a trailer, so I returned to Ameristar to get the 4-pin wiring harness installed. They were AWESOME! I needed the wiring done by the end of the day due to our travel requirements the next morning and they jumped through hoops to ensure that it got installed quickly and properly. I HIGHLY recommend Ameristar, they are Superstars! :

I really love these guys. They are fast and very knowledgeable. Every time I come in I learn something new. I feel like part of the family. They don't mind answering questions and explaining their work to you; that's mean a lot to a female that don't have a clue about installations I would recommend this place. They put a State required device on my car. The lobby is always clean which is a nice touch for an auto place. I would recommend this place.

So I'm going to let you all know about this very reputable establishment. I went there to purchase a remote starter for my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and since they had the option of integrating the starter into my own keyfob (although sacrificing the range of an external unit), I decided to go that way. After buying my truck from an otherwise unscrupulous dealership, I find out from the good folks at Ameristar that I already had a remote starter on my truck!?!?

So I had one of those Happy/Pissed moments.where I'm happy I saved some money, but pissed that I've had this vehicle for 4 months (heat & cold), and was clueless to the fact that I had one installed already! So the good folks at Ameristar didn't have to tell me their find, and could've still charged me. Not only were they totally upfront about what they had discovered, they didn't even charge me for the labor to find that little gem under my dashboard. I bought a pair of Weathertech floor mats to give them some business, and will recommend them to anyone that asks about any services they offer!

I have had many things done at Autoamerister for many years, and I could not be more pleased. I have owned many vehicle and have not had any problems. From remote starts, rustproofing tinting, and much more. I have got to know John, Randy and Ralph and trust them to do exactly what they said they were going to do. I have referred many people over the years and been very satisfied with the workmanship and products. I know that once I got used to using the products, things worked just as they said it would. I'll be there on my next vehicle too. Very happy!

Buyer beware - terrible experience with this business as a third party vendor for Victory Honda of Plymouth, Michigan (suspect is as suspect does). See my genuine review on The joke of a dealership that is Victory Honda of Plymouth MI - but I digress. Back to the shifty business at hand; Bought a brand new Honda CRV - had the after market remote starter installed three days after the purchase - through Victory Honda - 1 week after the installation the battery died. Died as in dead. Honda blamed the shady third party dude and the shady third party dude blamed Honda of Plymouth.

Neither accepted responsibility - get this, they blamed me the customer for not driving enough. seriously can't make this up. Half hearted apology after I mentioned removing the product and refunding my money. five days later the problem was fixed - so we think - neither admitted fault - except to say it was my fault. You may elect to do business with this establishment - but don't say I didn't warn you. Lance H.
