I am here in Florida, a 73 year old woman. The garage door on my condo wouldn't open so I called a local to fix it. He came said everything was wired wrong and charged me 475 to fix it. Only cash or check. The next day it was still broken and he had mobile deposited my check. Then they blocked my number. Foolish me didn't get a receipt I called Door Depot and explained what happened Dave called me back and had me do something to see if I could get it to work.

He was trying to save me.a service call! He talked to me for a good 10 minutes. He was awesome! Who does that. Mike came out a few days later and in 15 minutes had it working. Thank you all!

Mike Stuhmer came to my home today on a service call for my garage doors. He was one of the most personable and professional people that I have had the pleasure to deal with in quite a while. It was like he was the owner of the company. He explained the answers to my questions very clearly. He took care of my garage door issues quickly and explained why certain things were happening and how I can maintain the doors in the future. I very seldom write reviews. Steve

The spring on our garage door broke when we tried to open the door to leave. Couldn't budge it manually. Called Door Depot (they had installed a storm door a couple of years ago). The person who answered said it is late (4 pm) and they probably wouldn't be able to get out to see us until late tomorrow. She asked if the car(s) were in or out. I said in.

Oh dear, she replied, you didn't win the lottery did you. Give me 10 minutes and let me see what I can do. 10 minutes later the tech is on his way. An hour and 20 minutes after my call, a new spring is in place and everything works fine. Levi was the service tech. Thank you Levi and thank you Door Depot. We are fans.

Just had a great experience yesterday with Levi. He installed my new garage door - he was on time, very courteous and professional, very thorough and cleaned up the garage area when completed. I would highly recommend Levi and Door Depot and would use them again in the future. A big shout out to Celeste for working with me throughout this process to accommodate my timeframe. It's done and I couldn't be happier! Thank you all!

We called them at about 4 pm. 0n a Monday. We had messed up the codes on the garage door in our new home and couldn't open or close it. They installed it about 18 months before. No emergency service? They were SO busy.they couldn't come til Friday. Time to call somebody else.

I would give Venice Door Depot 10 Stars if I could. I called several other garage door companies inquiring about having a garage door replaced. Every other place was 8 to 12 weeks out because they didn't have any in stock. I called Door Depot who stated that they had them in stock and ready to be installed. I was impressed by their response and sent a person down the same day to inspect and give me a quote, and stated it would a few days before they could install it. I jumped all over that. lol. Everybody was professional, polite and knew the business. Very customer oriented. My hat goes off to the whole team!

Warranty on their jobs is only 2 years! We got 5 motorized roll down shutters installed by Door Depot of Southwest Florida, Inc at 2018 June, we payed $7K. At 2021 April one of my shutter stopped working. Called the company to fix it, they wanted to charge $100 just for the diagnostic, they informed me that their warranty is only good for 2 years from purchase date.

We are very upset about the short warranty period! We feel it is unfair from the company to only offer 2 years of warranty on such an expensive job. Sadly I do not recommend to use Door Depot of Southwe Florida, Inc. And a future note for my self to ALWAYS COMPARE WARRANTY not just the price.

Mike replaced the springs on my Garage Door, installed a new motor and rollers along with two new wall mounted key pads and new electric eye censors in a swift and professional manner. Instructed me on the working of all the new items and cleaned up after himself like he was never there. I feel so pleased with the work that Mike did.

Door Depot was recommended to me by my neighborhood ARC. They were very aware of the types of door frame modifications it would take to install a storm door, and I was looking at a model where the top glass rolled down to expose a screen. They came out in early December to give me an estimate and shortly thereafter I placed my order. My door was installed about 8 weeks later, since it was a special size, and I am extremely happy with the end product. Thank you so much for your excellent service all the way around :-

Discovered Door Depot when a neighbor replaced a door to their home. I was impressed with the work done so we called for an estimate. Celeste was great, asked a few questions and set up the appointment to meet with Mike. Mike worked with our schedule and arrived on time. His knowledge of the industry and products resulted in our ordering three doors.

Later Scott took over the project and had the installation team ready. Dave and Ryan arrived on time, worked the entire time they were on site and did a great job! These guys are pros and the job was done well. When the building inspector arrived the following day he commented on the the work saying it was really nicely done. I highly recommend that you talk with Door Depot for your next door replacement project. Dave & Carol

Garage door opener belt lost some 'teeth' and opened door inconsistently. Contacted Door Depot, described the problem, received a quote including the brand & model recommended. New opener installed in less than 24 hrs AND on Christmas Eve. Technician knowledgeable, polite, congenial.

Excellent customer service from everyone at Door Depot. We got quotes from several other companies for accordion hurricane shutters but we felt very comfortable working with our salesman, Mike who was honest and had some great suggestions for our project. The team that installed the shutters was great, too. They cleaned up after the job was finished and did a wonderful job installing the shutters. Levi stayed to demonstrate the shutters and to make sure we were 100% comfortable operating them. Celeste, the receptionist is wonderful, too! Great job Door Depot!

On a Friday afternoon in sunny Florida, we discovered our garage door wouldn't open. Oh no. We placed a call to Dave at Door Depot and he said he'd have someone out ASAP. We asked him to make it sooner rather than later as our car was in our garage. Sure enough, less than an hour later the guy was on our doorstep. He was pleasant, honest, and did the job as if he were working on his own home. Turned out to be a snapped coil.

In addition, there was an additional problem over the weekend, so I emailed him instead of calling on Sunday and first thing Monday morning they were here again. Top notch company. Thanks guys.
