Doors Galore

A neighbor had their entry doors done by Doors Galore so I visited the establishment. Gary explained the process and since we have fireproof doors already, he proposed we have fire proof etchings in the middle of our entry doors. It is not cheap but the end result should add both pop and value to our condo. See the before and after photos- the proof is in the pudding; easy to work with and a good investment.

The whole process took a little over a month and a half due to supply chain delays with the glass(new reality). Gary did keep me in the loop returning phone calls throughout the process although I had to initiate a majority of the calls but it was worth it in the end. They were very respectful in taking the doors and returning the finished product. Based on my experience, I would recommend them. 4.5 Stars

We are more than pleased with this company, when we had our home renovated we hired them to make two custom solid wood doors to replace the hideous builder grade doors that were on the home. It took a while to get them, but sometimes qualities worth waiting for, when they finally installed they were my favorite part of my house. Now eight years later we need to have them refreshed due to sun damage and salt air, Wes came out and gave us a very fair price I believe and did a beautiful job please don't hesitate hiring this company, if you see a negative review it's probably more about the reviewer than the company in my opinion. Bait and Switch- I went to Doors Galore with a cad drawing of a door I wanted custom made. The owner was very pleasant and said no problem, we can make anything. While the price was very high over $15000. We went forward as we were expecting a great product. He showed us a door he was doing for another client that was similar but had much more glass. Months later he shows up and installs the door he showed us that day.

I was at work and when I questioned it he said - this is the door. I went and showed him the drawing and he said my drawing was wrong and he had to make some modifications. I asked why we were not consulted and asked for a change order. He now lies and says it was verbal. Not the door I had designed. It is a pretty door but way too much glass for where I live.

The paint job is awful. And you can see right into my house. I hate the door it doesn't work with my house. He refuses to make the correct door. I am perusing legal recourse. I have the contract and drawings of which are very different from what was installed.

After being promised numerous times that he would come out to repair our solid wood door that he made I gave up trying. Found someone else that responds and has a good rep.

I had the priviledge of having this father/son professional door company do a repair to my old door. It was handled, professionally; quickly, courteously; in a cost effective way. On short notice, they came as promised.

We have purchased a couple of doors from this company. We were pretty satisfied: they're really nice looking, fit well and the price was excellent So why the 2 stars? Well, only 18 months after one of our french doors was installed, every pane of glass clouded up a streaky grey, and it looks awful. The owner initially said this is because "it's in the sun". Really? It's an exterior door. there's sun outside; this is Florida.

After saying he would look into replacement with his glass supplier, another couple of months went by. When we called, he said the glass company wouldn't help, which was a shame because "this shouldn't happen". Remember: we bought the doors from him, not his glass company! We even offered to buy new glass, if he would do the replacement. nothing.

So the product is generally good, but the company won't stand behind the product if there's an issue. If the door is problem free, you've had a good deal. If not, you're on your own.

Nice products, even some exclusive items you will not find elsewhere, like neon edge lit glass inserts for your home. Good people too.

We bought beautiful interior doors (mahogany) which were extremely reasonable and have functioned perfectly over the last 5 years. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and cooperated with all of our requests.

This is an overdue review. My solid word doors are beautiful and secure. We installed them in 2009, they took a long time but we are very happy with them. Spent about 5k on them. Haven't had to revarnish yet, but soon. No peeling but they Just need to be glossed up again.

Lynn M is way off. The owner was as cooperative as anyone I have done business with locally. Yep the doors were pricier than Home Depot and they were custom made. His showroom was filled reflecting a wide range of choices. He came to our home to see what our needs were and was a great help with design. We recently started an addition and our contractor was amazed at the prices that we had been charged. The contractor will be using doors galore in our addition and in the future.

They like to waste your time. I called and they said over the phone they had interior doors in stock and I gave them my exact measurements. Turns out after a wasted trip that they only do custom doors, in mahogany, and they are expensive. Learn some customer service guys!
