What a great company to work with! From the very beginning, John was helpful, courteous and professional. He was very thorough in helping us pick out the right doors for us. He installed a new front door, storm door and garage entry door in one day and the work is exceptional. We are very happy with the end product and this company. I wish all companies had such a high level of customer service!

I called Accurate Window and Door for help with an unfinished window in my basement. Communication was quick and clear and John was able to come out, take a look, and advise on the best solution for my needs. He finished the job today in no time at all and the new window looks great. In 1995 I purchased a 1910 house and had John come and install all new windows and doors plus add a sliding glass door. The work he did was amazing. I've never had leaking issues with the work he did. In 2020 I had dry rot issues on the two main thresh holds and I remembered John's service so I called him again. The dry rot has more to do with our NW climate and chronic moisture.

He worked hard to come up with a solution to remedy the issue. I now have 4 new doors, new locks, new door frames and the dry rot has been removed and the rotten wood replaced with new wood. My cat even has a new pet door which he likes. John and now his son, are professionals and also take time to talk with their clients. They work hard and clean up after they are finished.

The work they do is highly accurate. I trust them to work on my 1910 home because I know they have the experience of working with older homes and understand all the quirks of an older home.

I recently moved into an old home in Portland and called John for an estimate to replace windows throughout the home. Not only was he a wealth of information but he convinced me to live with the windows I have, as nearly all are still functioning and most have storm windows installed, which, after a tutorial from John, provide me with the air circulation which is so important to me.

I found this so refreshing. No hard pressure sales pitch, just a genuine concern for meeting a customers needs. I was amazed. While new windows are certainly in my future, I am relieved to know this added expense is not as immediate as I had envisioned. And when I decide to install new windows, Accurate Windows and Doors will be doing the installation! A first rate company.

Wow, just wow. I have heard good things, saw good reviews about this place, and it's around the corner from my house so stopped by their showroom that was listed as being open until 5:30 to find it closed with a "by appointment only" sign. I called the number to be greeted with a "hey." No "accurate window and door, this is the owner." I mentioned my surprise at a business answering that way and was advised their showroom hours went with the recession.

Apparently so did their professionalism? I still never got his name. The conversation continued to a negative rant when I asked about a bid on some vinyl windows and a front door. To the average homeowner a sizable investment, but to this gentleman small potatoes and not worth bidding on. Apparently he only does fiberglass high end custom windows and doors.

I am all for a target demographic and choosing your customers, but the negativity of this guy was over the top and I warn anyone that doesn't have, as he said, "a high income and plenty to spend on windows."

Working with Accurate Windows was the best experience I could ask for when replacing all the windows in my home. John truly had our best interest in mind and he was incredibly easy to work with. I would fully recommend working with John (and Joseph) - they were kind, confident, friend, professional, and incredibly good and what they do.

I really liked dealing with Accurate Window and Door who was recommended to me by a neighbor. John is a small business owner who takes responsibility for his work all the way from sale through completion. There are no middlemen. No misunderstandings or lack of communication between marketing and installation people. He sells good products at a fair price. I would recommend him highly.

I would love to keep my business local, however I can NEVER get a live person when I call. I have left numerous messages for them and they never return calls.

John and his son came personally to install my new windows, and they were pleasant, prompt, and helpful throughout the process. The windows look beautiful and are an amazing value upgrade to my 1930's home. The price was better than many other window companies in town. Also of note - a friend of mine who is a general contractor came through to talk with me about a different project and said to me "hey those guys know what they're doing, I might give them a call, do you have their number?" Would go with them again for any new window upgrade projects and highly recommend for yours!

John Schwager is the owner and installer of the products he sells. I was referred to him by a very good long term friend. His knowledge of the products is very good, and he has been doing this kind of work for 35 yrs (since age 15). John tends to sell and install high end products, and his craftsmanship is of that caliber. He is also a very honest hard working person.

He took a great deal of time to answer my questions in full. I had a special problem with my front door project that required a custom door (no premanufactured products would fit my needs, and this project was not inexpensive, but the solution was much more appropriate than the other high end (and his pressure sales operation) of the other company in my town. John also sold and installed 3 new high quality doors to replace the old poor quality doors installed by the builder of our house (1990 vintage but a nice house).

He has also provided good followup for minor problems that arose and the resolution of these problems is to my satisfaction. I would do business with John again and confidence that the job will be done well, and have good followup. I get the impression that he will not do cheap windows because he feels that they will not in the long run perform satisfactorily.

AWESOME!. One word that can describe it all. I did some research on-line, talked with Marvin HQ, and had a recommendation from a colleague for Accurate after I had done the initial engagement. John and Team were quite efficient with the installation work and easy to coordinate schedules and plans. They were very accommodating to my needs and desires for the final look.

The Marvin Infinity windows are just as good as the Accurate team. The house is so much quieter without the 50 year old sashes that it makes me wish I would have done this project years ago, however I wouldn't have had the modern technology in these fabulous windows. I am very picky in both product quality and craftsmanship and these windows are top notch. However, any top notch product is worthless unless the installers know what they are doing.

I have already made some referrals to other friends who have contacted Shane @ Accurate and they have informed me they are impressed with their responsiveness and pricing both. Sometimes one wishes one has more to do. If so I would definitely use Accurate again.

We recently had Accurate Window and Door come and replace all the windows and sliding door in our home. Our home is 14 years old and almost all of the vinyl windows had already failed and we could hardly see out of them because of the condensation. They came and replaced those windows with beautiful energy efficient windows. They were friendly, hard working and did excellent quality work.

They went the extra mile to make sure I had no clean up to do. The windows have only been installed a few days and I've already gotten compliments on them. I look forward to having a quieter and warmer home.

WOW, these guys are great! I was looking to replace an exterior door a few years ago and was referred to John and co. @ Accurate Window & Door and I couldn't be happier. So happy in fact, I just had them replace three OLD windows. Their doors and windows are of the highest quality at a competitive price and the installation was very professional. The salesman(Shane) was on time, courteous, friendly and had great product knowledge.

He followed up quickly with an estimate and a phone call. The ordering and payment process was simple and efficient. Britney kept me informed of the progress and made the scheduling a piece of cake. John and his apprentice worked like Ninjas, I hardly knew they were in my house. They cleaned as they went and left no trace. I will recommend Accurate to any friends or acquaintances who might be replacing doors or windows in their home.

We had Accurate Window and Door install 37 windows which included the garage and basement windows last October 2013. John Schwager is the owner and is very knowledgeable of his product and other replacement windows that are on the market. He did such a wonderful job the installation and explaining the use. We chose John and his company because of his reputation for excellence and the Marvin Infinity windows which are fiber glass and more costly but well worth the extra dollars.

He said when all have been installed it would look great but it turned out so much better than I ever anticipated. It also keep with the original look and feel of our 1951 cape code home. I would highly recommend Accurate Window & Door for replacement of windows.
