MGM Industries has over five million dollars invested in our extrusion operation, with $500,000 invested for the purposes of designing and building our own extrusion dies. This advantage gives MGM the unique ability to keep our customers competitive and allows us to develop high quality windows for the Builder, Architect and Homeowner.
Color on uPVC vinyl window and doors has been the desire of architects, builders and homeowners since its introduction into the building industry. Until recently vinyl windows have were only available in White and Tan. The reason is that uPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) has a distortion temperature of 140oF.

I built a new home in 2017 and MGM windows were used. Almost immediately all the painted windows had to be retouched and they were great about getting it fixed. Soon after a large window started to leak. They came and put caulking around the window and thought that would fix it. After 2 years of constant leaks and issues they sent someone to replace the window.
They put a ton of sealant around it. As soon as fall hit and we got rain we had a little leaking with the new window. I emailed my contact with NO Response. Now every time it rains water is pouring into the house. Our wall and floors are damaged! I have contacted the distributor who keeps attempting to contact MGM to repair it but after months I still have had no response. So much for quality windows or their 30 year guarantee! When you pay thousand of dollars for a window (which does not open) you'd expect more from the company!

I have not even received my windows yet and leaving a bad review I am building a house and I ordered my windows in may they were supposed to be in by the first of august I understand that we are in different times and all with Covid being the number one excuse for everything but all this company wants to say is the windows are not ready yet they give no details no information and I am sick of it now my house is sitting and can't move any further and exposed to the outdoor elements they need to shut there business down if they don't know how to run it

Not recommended. Ordered windows through a local supplier with a quoted lead time of 8-10 weeks. 18 weeks have passed and still no windows. Spoke directly to MGM and they just blamed the delay on their suppliers and took no responsibility. I understand extended lead times in the current economic environment, but missing a quoted lead time by several months is unacceptable. My house has been sitting open to the elements for 6 weeks due to their inability to deliver their end of the deal.

I built a new home in 2017 and my contractor persuaded me to purchase MGM windows. Big mistake. When they arrived all windows were covered in glue drips, messy and we are still trying to get them clean. The kitchen window, which is 3' x 5' was clearly bowed. The most obvious cheapness were the screens which were made out of the lowest grade fiberglass possible and they were so flimsy that the wind blew them out of the windows.
About half of the screens did not fit the windows. I could tell that the screens might last a few months at best. I ordered all screens reordered with metal screening and sized to actually fit the windows. I reordered them in May 2017. After 6 months and a million excuses I still had no screens and so I asked how much they would credit me if I just custom ordered my own screens.
They stated that they would reimburse me.19 cents a screen. I found that odd since they charged me $30 a screen. So I ordered alll MGM windows OUT of my house because I was tired of messing with them and knew that they would not back up their product in the future. The material wholesalers, Lensing Wholesalers, decided to purchase new screens for me instead, at their cost. MGM could never be reached because "they had multiple ICE raids" and their Hispanic workers were taken".supposedly. Worst customer service ever.
Fast forward to December 2019 and I have a broken window. The sliding piece that runs up and down the side is broken and the metal guide is out of place, so the window cannot be opened. One side hangs down while the other side is stuck. I have contacted Lensing Wholesalers to make good of this window, so we will see what happens. I am not optimistic.

Double hung southern rose 3x3 windows. The company does not stand behind their product. Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with an entire lot of windows in our home that is less than 4 years old. The entire house contains MGM's windows. We have 3 3'x3' windows and all of them have leaked during light to heavy rain. One was reinstalled by a professional contractor and has continued to leak.
The previous owners of the home had issues with the windows too and had a contractor look and "fix" them, but the problems returned after we bought the home. Calm talks with MGM have led nowhere. They were on the defensive from the beginning stating they test their windows and can not attest to if they were installed correctly. I stated all their other windows in the home are fine except all of the 3x3 windows.
To me, this points to a faulty lot of windows and not the installation. The individual kept stating "well I don't know." When I mentioned we were the second homeowners he immediately jumped on that and stated the warranty does not cover the second homeowner. Even after explaining the first sign of their fault did originate with the original owners, he just stated it doesn't matter.
I am truly ashamed to know an American company does not stand behind their products, especially when an entire lot is faulty. When a company does not stand behind their products or instantly denies any wrong doing before knowing any factual information it only leads me to personally believe they spend more time defending their products rather than improving them or admitting wrong doing. Based on these issues, I can not recommend this manufacturer for any new construction homes.

Brought a shipment of glass by semi from NC. There are no shipping and RECEIVING signs for incoming trucks. It looks nice from the front of building(office areas), but the dock bays and surrounding grounds are indeed horrible at best! Deep holes, no directional signs (single lane with another oncoming semi), can't read half the bay numbers, a great amount of trash and debris on the grounds, grass and weeds are as tall as a grown man, and get this.we had to crawl up a bent shabby ladder to get on the dock. My last rant is a nasty port a john in pouring rain as the trucker's facilities, really? Can MGM operate without semi deliveries? hmmmm

Not a good company at all. I signed acceptance letter. After I placed in a 2 weeks notice with the job I was full time with. They hired someone else without an apology. That left me without a job. Don't trust this company at all. I don't know if it was because of my culture or what, but the HR lady didn't seem to like me from the beginning. Well their loss, I have a lot of experience that is why the IT supervisor and Analyst wanted to hire me.

I work for a building material supplier in Fayetteville NC and out preferred line of windows is MGM / Southern Rose. I have been ordering this brand for almost 10 years and running a crews that install them for about 6 years. The are rare occasions that the seal fails and moisture forms between the glass, however filing the warranty and getting the replacement is effertless.
