Very quick same day service replacing both springs on garage door. Absolutely smooth call & fix and VERY reasonable. Highly recommend. Obar Door has been purchased by Silco and took all employees and pay the same. Good company.

I called this morning about a busted spring on my garage door, and was given a quote over the phone. There was no inspection charge or any other upfront fees. Anthony was here by mid-afternoon and 30 minutes later my garage door was operating like new. Anthony was great. He knew his job, no pressure, and no upselling. It was a totally stress free buying experience. I highly recommend these guys.

I have never left a review of a business before. However, the service at this company is so unbelievably terrible, I felt it was necessary. It has been a month since I first contacted Obar to fix the gate on my property. Each time I call, they "guarantee" someone will be out "that day or the next" to fix my gate. Yet, each time, nobody comes. The only reason I keep trying to get them to come out is because the service is already paid for!

The realtor who sold us our new home paid for the gate to get fixed as a part of our purchase agreement. I have called at least 6 times over the past month. I have spoken to the owner "Joe" on several occasions. My gate is still broken. I cannot believe this company is even still in business. Update: Gate has been fixed.

Made several calls before getting someone out to look at my situation. Then several calls asking if they have an estimate yet. Still nothing. They don't return calls.

I called them yesterday they showed up the next day. Parts are available on the spot. tech is great did a great job his name is Anthony. I will call them again for the next services. Thanks again!

Extremely happy with Obar Door & Gate. We have used them for all of our gate repair needs, and recently had them put in a whole new gate system. The installers Michelle and Sean worked through the freezing cold to get our systems up and running. They are also extremely knowladgeble about anything gate related. I would recommend to anyone without hesitation!

Called them on a Friday morning and they scheduled someone to come out that afternoon. I explained the issue on the phone and they were able to identify the problem right away. The person who came out was nice, the repair took less than 30 minutes, and the price was great. Would definitely use them again.

I only bought some parts, but Joe and the other staff that I met were extremely kind and went out of their way to offer advice and made sure I knew what I was doing. If I ever need service I will definitely be calling them. Thanks again.

Would have loved to have worked with them initially, if I didn't have to follow-up 4 times simply asking for an estimate. Received an email back asking for more information the first time, then never heard from them again after 4 follow-ups over a 2-month period.

Quiet! We installed a new door and operator and we delighted with the process from start to finish. Joe came out to estimate the job quickly and provided good guidance on options. He gave us a quote and all the information we would need to submit to our condo association. When the door came in he scheduled the installation within a two days. His crew was professional, respectful and hard working.

The new door and operator are so much quieter and seal the weather out. One thing we hadn't thought about was how much brighter the new door would make the garage feel because it is white on the inside. Would highly recommend Obar.

Plain and simple, I spoke with Joe about my garage door and it's broken spring at 1:00p, at 3:30p the door was repaired and the service personnel were gone. Joe was great to speak with on the phone, he seemed to know exactly what I needed just from our conversation, he made arrangements to get the work done quickly, and the price he quoted was spot on when I got the bill. All service and repair should be this easy!

My garage doors torsion tube snapped after the bearing fell out of the plate/bracket. I contacted OBAR on Yelp and they got right back to me. The next day, Joe (I think) came out to give an estimate. Instead of replacing the entire tube, Joe noticed there was enough length to simply slide the tube over, so the only parts needed were the new bearing plates.

I had four other estimates from different companies. One of them tried to sell me a new torsion tube. The other two did not, but their prices came in higher. OBAR was the cheapest by about $20 for simply replacing the brackets. Because my garage door is about 15 years old, I called Joe the next day and asked him how much it would be to replace the spring as well.

I also got this priced from the other companies. OBAR came back with a price that was over $100 cheaper than any of the other estimates I received. A technician came later that day, replaced the spring and bearing plates, and did a tuneup of the entire garage door. The whole process went smoothly and everyone I dealt with at OBAR was extremely courteous. And best of all, they were the most affordable service by far. Highly recommended.

Fantastic customer service. Had an issue with my garage door tonight and the service tech called me and did some troubleshooting that fixed my issue without having to make a house call! Much appreciated.

I called Obar Door & Gate last week based on the positive reviews found here, their service was quick, easy to make appointment and get the job done within the time estimated. this morning, one of the roller came off the track, and the door was not able to open fully, I called them again as it was the similar issue happened last week, still waiting for them to get back to me. they come back today and fixed the door, replaced 2 roller and tighten up the track with no charges. wow, I am impressed with their customer service, the repair guy is very knowledable and friendly. highly recommend their services! Yes The Obar deserved 5 stars!

Very helpful and honest company. They answered all my questions and did not steer me to spend more money than I wanted.

On short notice I discovered I had a broken spring. Upon further investigation I needed a bearing as well. I called and they were able to fit me in the same day. The technician was on time and very nice. He fixed my issues accurate to the quote I received on the phone. They came in substantially less than others. Great service, great prices and quick response. I could not ask for more. Next time you need garage door service make sure and call these guys you will be happy that you did.

Our garage door stopped working so I called Obar based on the yelp review I found. They answered the phone right away -- had someone out the same day -- called to let me know when their guys were on the way and installed the new part the same day they received it in. The service was so professional which is rare these days. I would highly recommend them!

Recently my garage door broke. I knew exactly which parts needed replacing, so I sent a detailed email to about 8 local door repair companies requesting an estimate. Of the 8, only Obar responded with an email that had a professional quote attached, with a breakdown of costs, presented on company letterhead with signature. Very nice. 2 others gave me a price via email, 1 other said he'd call (never did).

And the last 4? Not a peep. Not only was Obar the most thorough in their communication, they also ended up being the first ones available, with the lowest price. Rarely do you feel like you hit a home run. But my garage door was fixed within hours, they were honest (no attempt to sell me a whole new garage door opener as one of their competitors did), and the price was great. They have a customer for life.
