We absolutely LOVE the dome kit from Archway & Ceilings. In fact, we love it so much we're putting in an elliptical dome over the kitchen island next. It really opens up a front porch. We used veneer brick and plaster to give it this look. They're website is easy to navigate, they're sales team is GREAT on email for questions. We're excited for the next project!

I had reached out regarding a custom range hood I was looking to design for my kitchen. I sent my request in an email with an inspiration photo and a few details. No one reached out to me regarding my request- I only recieved an automated estimate response. When I called in to discuss the design and their quote in further detail, the represenative on the phone was extremely rude and short with me.
Almost as if they just don't care for the business. I can't speak to the quality of the the product, but can speak to the horrible customer service that was unfortunately received.

I stumbled onto Archways & Ceilings while searching for a range hood for my kitchen "update." They couldn't have been more patient and kind! I'm sure I emailed Wesley a dozen times before I actually ordered! The hood arrived promptly and looking like a puzzle. It was easy to assemble and you can customize it! I will try to post my before and afters. It's magazine worthy! Oh, and yes, I get a ton of compliments too and I love every single minute of it! THANK YOU!

I own a luxury residential design and development firm in Chicago. I was introduced to Archways and Ceilings by the trusted building material rep. I was skeptical about the accuracy and quality but could not be more pleased! I have ordered for multiple projects and intend to make Archways and Ceilings a partner moving forward with all of my new construction and rehab projects!

I've never done archways. I've now done two of them in my home as updating existing walls as opposed to putting them in new construction without SheetRock already up. (this changes your cutting and installing process if you have rock up and is not shown in any videos I could find:) With that said. Products were easy to figure out, easy to install and are rock solid.
Be sure to wet the back of your 1/4 rock before curving it across the ark. I didn't think it would work. Thought the rock would crack. Nope. With 1/2 or 3/8ths it cracked on my first one, which only means more mud and sanding. Couldn't recommend any better solution or outcome. Sure nice to see small business doing it right!

I have ordered 3 archways now and it has made my work so much easier than trying to create the arch by hand. The custom ordered sizes came out perfect every time and just a few long screws holds everything in place very well. I highly recommend this product to make your job turn out professional looking, even if you are a DIYer like me.

Cannot say enough good things about this company! They are MIRACLE WORKERS with what they do! Backstory - we are a photography studio and we wanted to build a big cycolorama (think those car commercials with a white infinite background). We spent WEEKS researching how to DIY it, and were honestly a little overwhelmed. Then we found A&C and they had all the parts we needed in a KIT!
It was so so so slick! Ordered right away, had the pieces in a week, and built the cyclorama no problem - and it is PERFECT. Customer support was superb - they followed up to make sure we had all our questions answered and were satisfied. Have recommended them to so many friends!

There aren't enough stars to give these guys. We have a high end rustic home we are building and looked into a rustic copper or rusted iron range hood for the 60" Wolf Range we were installing. The prices for them were off the charts, so we began looking into trying to fabricate our own. Lo and behold we came across Archways and Ceilings website with their many range hood kits.
They provide the pieces, you assemble them, then finish it anyway you want. Prefect! We wound up getting out specs in and within two weeks the kit arrived. It only took me 60 minutes to put it up. We covered it in 1/2" plywood, then applied primer, iron reactive paint from Modern Masters, a rust activator, and finally two coats of sealer. The finished product came out awesome and better than even I thought it would.
The "metal" straps are faux straps we purchased online that are made of rubber but look like real iron straps. We used the iron paint and gave them a rust look as well. Total cost of materials for a 60" hood was between $500 and $600 (kit was $411.00). Much less than cost to have a custom hood fabricated ($3,000+).
