It has been such a pleasure working with Doors & Company! They helped us find EXACTLY the right doors that we wanted, and they make such a huge impact on both the aesthetics and functionality of our home. Installation was great, but the guy said that it might need to be tweaked. Indeed the front door started not latching, but I called and they came right out and fixed it no problem. Great products, great service, great folks!

I came to this location in early June of this year. I came here as I was looking for quotes for a new back and front door. I went to another company before coming here and never heard back (thanks for nothing, Door Outlet). Prior to visiting this location, I made an appointment to look at the types of doors available on the show room floor. When at the location, I picked out two doors with the help of Chris Owens. Chris explained the process to me about how long the doors would take as well as what to expect.
After I picked out the doors and paid 50% down, Chris came to my home and measured my door spaces to ensue the doors I ordered would fit in my space. The install of the two doors I ordered was done over the period of two days. the backdoor took about half a day to install because the frame had to be removed. The front door was done in the period of a few hours today. Corey was the installer for both doors. Corey (like Chris) was professional and personable. Overall, I had a good experience with this company. While the wait may be long for the doors, the final product as delivered is sharp looking.

We had our double front doors installed about 13 months ago and have had major issues with them. First they were installed on a rainy day and I guess the stain didn't have time to dry. The doors and the door frames started drastically peeling in many places. D&C came out and took the doors back to re-finish them which I am grateful for. We ordered doors with "art glass", that is basically double pained with sand blasting in-between the layers.
Shortly after the new doors were re-installed, the glass started showing these strange bubbles inside of it. D&C came out and replaced the one piece of glass where the bubble was forming in. Now we have 2 more pieces of the glass that are starting to show those same issues. One was even on the new glass installed. But now we are 20 days past the one year warranty (even though the new piece of glass was only installed 6 months ago).
So now to fix anything it will cost out of pocket for material and labor. I just think for $5,000 doors that they should be higher quality and not have so many issues within only the first year. Should have just gone with home depot.

I have used Doors & Co. for 5 doors: three standard bedroom/bathroom, a stained front door, and a custom-made door to the crawl space under my stairs. Every interaction with has been great, from the initial spec and quote from John, the guys that he sent to measure and install to paying the invoice over the phone. Quality work, reliable scheduling, and all-around great to do business with.

I just ordered a door and corresponding hardware from Doors & Company. John and Theodora were both patient, knowledgeable, and efficient. And before today--when I wandered in to look one day--two other sales people went the extra mile! I didn't realize it was close to closing time and I made them go 20 minutes over. When I realized what time it was, I profusely apologized, but they were so casual about it, saying "No problem at all!" I have already encountered four people at this company and they are all extraordinary!

The two stars are for the ease of looking at the selection of doors in their showroom and the quality seemed to be good. Zero stars, however, for (lack of) communication and the downright inaccurate information I was given. I made it very clear in person when talking with John that I needed a rear storm door and he showed me one that I liked. I also chose the style of interior doors and took home catalogues to decide on a new front door.
He said that any front door I liked could be made to include a side light. I made it very clear that my front door gets a lot of sun and he said that low-e non-clear glass (rain style, etc.) could be used. Someone then came to measure everything, I let them know which front door I wanted, and chose the stain color for the front door. And then I never heard from them.
Two weeks later, I called them and they said that the rear door I had picked out was not a storm door and they do not sell storm doors.? They also said the front door side light could only be made with clear glass - who wants anyone walking by to be able to see right into the house? I let them know that I was concerned about the communication difficulties and that I would be taking my business somewhere else. I do not recommend.

I have to admit, I have remodeled more than a few houses. This is the first time I used this company, and while we fell in love with something that was outside our budget (thats on us), the installers are still here after getting here 3.5 hours ago. They are the most exacting/precision installers of anything I have ever (ever) seen. I cannot say enough about their customer service -- in this case about the installers, I have ever seen (I've been remodeling house for a long time).
This place is legit, and amazing. Who would allow someone to spend 4 hours installing a door for the price we paid. Unbelievable. Kudos. You have a customer for life, and one that has gone through this many times. Thank you so much.

I have worked with a lot of different contractors to do different home improvement projects throughout the last five years and it has been the most challenging experience to find a company that does what it says and says what it does. I was astounded to find my experience with the installation of a beautiful front door to go as smoothly as it did.
Throughout the entire process I was kept informed, schedules were adhered to, and finally the install went exactly as described and on time. This is exactly how companies should work and amazingly I'm having to write a review to applaud something that should be the baseline of customer service. This company did a five-star job!

Not only did Doors & Company do a great job on well-priced good-quality new hardware for a 1910 office redo but when we had an issue with one door, they immediately solved the problem. The customer service was top notch. I'm appreciative for this "in town" option. They came out to measure and count to make sure we were buying the right amounts which saved us so much time. They also knew a lot about old homes.

We purchased a door from Doors & Company back over the summer. We are totally loving the aesthetic change that it brought to the house, not to mention all the natural sunlight that now pours in each day. We are so pleased with the craftsmanship of the door and its components. We have had the door now for 6 months and I started to notice a problem in the way that door latch would not catch the door and secure it closed.
A gave the company a call and within a few days they sent an awesome technician "Aaron" out to have a look. He immediately noticed what was going on and fixed the door and the frame around the door. Now its back to opening and closing like a "Champion". My service visit was included in my purchase and there was no service fee added on. Talk about really wanting to delight your clients. Can't recommend this company enough. Give them a chance to earn your business.

We were looking for a new front door, and visited several different businesses. We ended up going with Doors and Co. despite a little turbulence. Overall satisfied, but would probably give another business a shot over them if we needed more work done. The Good: - Plenty of selection - Friendly Sales Staff - We like the quality of our new door, and the installation went smoothly The Bad: - Staff quoted us the cost of the door, which was reasonable, but also said "we'll want to inspect your doorjamb, it may need work.
If we need to replace it, it'll cost $300, and we promise we only recommend it if its necessary, its not an upsell tactic for us" - They sent out a technician, who inspected the doorjamb, and recommended replacement - fair enough, but when they sent the revised quote, it was $700 more than the original, not $300. When I referenced the prior conversation, all they said was "we didn't mean to mislead you" and were evasive.
So much for it not being an upsell tactic. In the end we went with them, because the revised quote wasn't so much higher than other providers. Candidly, we had already sunk time into picking the door, glass type and finish as well - we could have gone somewhere else, but who has time to restart the whole process? In the end, not a bad product, but go in eyes wide open to their sales tactics.

I am posting another review for Doors & Company. A differ worker came to my house today. His name was Chris Owen! He re adjusted my lock that I had questions about. He helped me immensely. I truly enjoyed our visit. He fixed everything I needed! He is just another great employee for Doors & Company. I would recommend this company any one who needed a new door! They are fabulous! Thanks!

My wife and I visited Doors and Company recently looking to replace an out of fashion metal from door. Great variety of wooden, glass and fiberglass doors on hand and a dizzying number on options in catalogs and on line. I guess the best way to sum it all up is that you are only limited by your imagination. Great customer service with the customer in mind. No pushy sales tactics and a wonderful breath of fresh air.

Today is Wednesday, March 23th 2016. Ivan came by to personally check on the beautiful doors that were custom-made for my home. He arranged for the crew to come to address a few things to make what is already stellar astounding. That is service with a smile. Oh, and Ivan's initial suggestion that we go with the bronzed glass. well let me tell you that double paned BRONZED GLASS is the bomb y'all!
I wish every window in my home had it. Thank you Doors & Co. Today is Thursday, March 24th 2016. The crew from Doors & Co. came today to adjust a few things on the two matching front doors. When they left, what was already great is now as close to perfect as anyone can get. Thank you all. I am one happy customer. Today is Friday, March 25th 2016. The doors look, feel and function perfectly.

Great experience, beautiful door. We wandered into Doors & Company on a whim after a trip to the light shop next door. I was so impressed with the doors that we scheduled a quote before we left the shop. The salesman even PhotoShopped at couple of doors onto a photo I had of our house, so that we could get a preview of how the door would look. There were a lot of options for all styles of doors, but we were most impressed by the modern style doors, and all the great options for glass texture. They came out and measured, and received the quote, which was in line with my research for costs. The installing carpenter was very talented, and the door looks fantastic.

This is, hands down, the place to go for beautiful custom doors. We got our new front door from them, and it made SUCH a big difference for our home. I was totally lost when I first walked in -- there are so many different, great looking styles to choose from, but the owners were wonderful and so helpful, and they went out of their way to show us our different options (within our price range) and make sure we got exactly what worked best for us. If you're looking to add some personality to your place -- keep these guys in mind. It is well worth it.

I literally ordered my front door via telephone without having to visit the store, or see any of their products, other than online photos. This is not even a referral. I guess everything happened for a reason because I couldn't have been happier with the personal service I received and most importantly, the incredible front door that was freight out to me from Texas to California.
I have the most beautiful and grand door in my neighborhood. I definitely took a big risk on a big purchase (that I wouldn't be able to return if I wasn't happy with it) with Doors an Company. We had a few issues along the way, and Rodney, the manager personally making sure that everything will be fixed. Thank you everyone at Doors and Company to produce such a beautiful door and have to deal with me for over 4 months.

I recently remodeled part of my house. I had to make decisions constantly about products and components that I had no idea about. So for me, Doors was the perfect place for me. Great customer service. helped me get the quality I want and need while paying attention to my budget. The owners are personally involved with all aspects of the business and it shows! Also, I love their showroom. they make doors really interesting!

Ivan was friendly, knowledgeable, and very communicative. Instead of retrofitting our home to accommodate standard width doors, we decided to have custom doors made that were narrower. I sent Ivan a photo of the door I wanted, he sent someone to our house to measure and emailed me a CAD rendering of what to expect. We were off, and 3 weeks later (exactly the estimate Ivan gave us initially), the doors were complete. Ivan had put us in touch with Austin Doors and Trim for the installation, and a month after walking in Doors & Company we have an amazingly gorgeous pair of custom doors. Their beautiful craftsmanship has transformed our house, inside and out!

We love our doors from Doors & Company! We were able to pick the exact design, wood, glass and hardware that we wanted. The owners, others in the shop, and the installers were professional and a pleasure to work with. Everyone who comes to our house compliments our beautiful mahogany and reed glass doors.

I purchased a door from Doors & Company and when my door was installed I was not completely satisfied with it, but I would like to praise the manager Mr. Duffin. He took care of the problem and my door was reinstalled. Retailers are often very eager to please the customer before the sale but the service recieved after the sale is what determines the "real customer service". I give 5 stars to Mr. Duffin for his customer service skills and 10 stars for how awesome my new door looks!

Great selection of doors/harware, very knowledgeable people. We bought our door here, as opposed to the other 'front door company', based on the level of help we received from Lance. We even paid a little more for the door because of it, and I told him so when I went to purchase it. The door itself looks great. Why 3 stars then? I was told we would have the door in 3-4 weeks. 6 weeks to the day later we finally received the door. Backstory: When we purchased the door, Lance mentioned that there was a backlog in the finish shop and that was causing the delay. (They already had the door in stock.) No biggie, the time frame I was given worked for everything we were having done.
I called at 3 weeks, was told it would be another week. No prob, still within the time frame. I called at 4 weeks; maybe next week. Ok, delays are expected. I called at 5 weeks; we got back logged due to a 5 door order, maybe later this week. WTF? What happened to first in, first out? I know 5 doors is worth more than our measly, lower end 1 door, but really?! Finally, I get a call(minutes before I called them) on Friday of week 5 stating the door was ready but the trim still needed finishing and it would be this week before it was all ready. So, I called Monday at 4:54pm, they said it was ready and would be here Tues at 11, which it was.
The biggest problem, really, is the lack of communication. No phone call, no emails. All communication originated from my end. Maybe they should hire another finish guy too. Edit: I took another star off due to an oversight that should not have occurred. We purchased a lock set along with our door. The cut out made on the edge, where the bolt cover plate goes, was cut for a round cover plate. Ours comes with a square plate.
For the amount of money the door and lock set cost, they should have cut the hole correctly. I can see this happening at Lowe's or HD, but from a door specialty company I find it unacceptable.
