Ankmar Door

Called for an appointment at 6 am, no appointments available same day, regardless of what website says. wanted to book after hours for $140 an hour, 2 hour minimum. I have been a customer for 15 years, and to be ripped off like this is ridiculous. Called another reputable company and got a morning appointment at 1/4 the cost.

Ankmar Garage Door is by far the best in selection of products for your garage door needs. I purchased a side mount opener for my house and have never been so satisfied with the durability and reliability. The professionals that install and service my door annually are a pleasure to work with. A technician by the name of Eric always goes the extra mile for me and leaves me feeling secure knowing that after Eric leaves I never have a second thought about my garage security. (A+) Ankmar! Keep up the great work.

Got a garage door tune-up. Eric immediately identified the problem, fixed it with some lubricant, and gave advice on future maintenance. Then replaced worn weatherstripping. All in about 20 minutes and with great conviviality and humor. Highly recommended. Money and time well spent.

I will definitely NOT use this company ever again. After having to reschedule three times due to their failures, I had to pay a cost higher than my original price quote.

Well this review is based on the company's response to my negative review. They asked for more information acting liked they cared about my problems with their service, which I fulfilled only to have no further response. So ultimately they just don't care. So here we are two weeks later $630 some dollars paid for a broken spring with no resolve. So once again I tell you don't use this company.

The service team was awesome. They came assessed what happened and made the repair. They were about 1:00 hour to fix my garage door. They were friendly and respectful of property as my car was stuck in the garage.

Our garage door springs broke. Ankmar came out to our house and fixed quickly, with no drama. The tech was reliable and courteous. It was the ideal experience for us.

Very professional. The tech went above and beyond what I expected. Tightened everything up, adjusted belts, then told me everything he had done. Most importantly, he told me what I should look out for to make sure the door was working properly in the future. Great job

Henry came on a Saturday to conduct an install and we had a chat about the different brands, capabilities and durability of the models they provide and service. After a few minutes of his information I was able to decide on the perfect model for my home. We rescheduled the appointment to that following Monday and he came in time. actually earlier than expected and still installed both garage door openers in an expedient time.

I have been using both doors and there are no complaints. As he advised I was able to easily sync them both with an app and now I am able to be notified of all situations concerning the doors. Henry's work was smooth and very detailed. I absolutely appreciate his insight, professionalism and workmanship. GIVE HENRY A RAISE!

My door rail / track was damaged such that the door would not go up or down, and I expected it to need to be replaced. Ankmar was available to be at my house in about 5 hrs and was able to cost effectively fix the rail without replacing it. Great job and customer service!

The installer was the absolute best! Very kind & polite he worked very hard non-stop until finished. Didn't take very long & my garage door is beautiful w/ frosted glass in aluminum w/ glass panels. Operates very quietly and smoothly. I love my new door! So happy I got rid of the old garage door that was sticking, too! The salesman for this company came out wearing his mask & was very polite & kind, also.

Price was very good compared to other places. Love it! I have been so busy I never got to thank them all! This is the company you want installing your garage door definitely!

Our garage door needed a re-balance after installing a door insulation kit. Our technician arrived within his appointment window, quickly assessed the problems, and quickly re-balanced the spring to the new door weight, adjusted my light beam safety, adjusted the upper and lower limits of my door opener, and aligned the track on one side. Done in 20 minutes because he was just focused and efficient. Very professional. I will use again and highly recommend Ankmar.

Ankmar performed a garage door tune-up and installed a keypad for me. The scheduling process was smooth, the technician showed up on time, and the work was completed to my satisfaction. Great job Ankmar!

Set up a service appointment in the evening on a Tuesday and the service person arrived early on Wednesday and quickly resolved my issue. They even acknowledged that part of the mistake was due to their initial installer and didn't charge the full rate because of that. I will use them again.

Second time I have used them and both were great experiences. The professionals.that do the job are great. They look over the scene and get to work. They also gave me a better price than everyone else, including a company that advertises the lowest prices in the nation. Highly recommended.

I got an appointment and someone showed up gave me an estimate of $360 just to tell me that they don't have the parts in stock. Two days later they returned and fix my garage for my springs and a new guy showed up so I asked him how much is it. He quoted $418. I asked.him how did the price go up? He said because of item shortages? That's literally a $70 up charge. They should've stated that in the begining from the start besides give me the run around.

I called them in May and placed an order for a $1,300 storm door. A regular storm door. Because of the supply chain the door can in August-no problem. Except it was missing a part. I was told it would be delivered and installed that week. I got the part today, 10 weeks later! They avoided my calls and took days to respond. Always friendly and nice but come on! 10 weeks for 1 single part?

When I asked if I would have gotten faster service if I hadn't paid in full I got no response. Please price shop (certain I could have gotten it cheaper) and do not pay until the job is completed to your satisfaction

My residential garage door wouldn't stay shut. Repairman called on the way, was professional and solved the problem in 15 minutes. I'd call them again in a heartbeat.

Terrible experience. Had an appointment from anywhere 2pm-6pm never received a call for when they would be at my house. Once they got here at 5:30pm they tried to scam me into purchasing a whole new garage opener. Nothing is wrong with my unit just got jammed on the safety bolt and the guy took the bolt out and never gave it back to me and told me I need a whole new machine. Fixed the issue myself the next day and my garage works perfectly. Never will recommend or use this company again.

They showed up in the designated time window and installed a new garage door opener/motor as well as 2 key pads in less than an hour. Caleb was fast and friendly.

Great service from Ankmar! They replaced our garage door operating machine and spring. They are quick with scheduling and very polite on the phone. I had one small issue/complaint with one of the techs, but when I called the main phone number the very nice woman took care of it immediately. My only other complaint is they give you a four hour time frame and the techs do not call you before showing up at your door.

I had them come out and give me a quote on garage doors. They were large doors a total of four 18x9 full view and they gave me a quote of 53,000, I went through Costco who had a dealer that carry the exact same doors hardware installation etc. for 38,000. I understand markup but yikes. Thank you for responding. As you know Costco is a large entity and they partner with a very large garage door company that has been in business for 30 years nationally.

I completely understand it and as you they have major overhead the price difference is still absolutely scary i'm sure they're buying power is much greater and they are also one of the largest dealers for this garage door product we choose. I'm not saying sometimes you won't be competitive but encourage others to get more than one bid.

The guys showed up early and were done quickly. Prices were competitive with all the other companies that I contacted. Knowledgeable and friendly too. I will use them again and you should too.

Have been a customer for over 11 years and Ankmar was great. Unfortunately, I had an emergency on a Sunday and needed their help. No problem as they advertise they are open 24/7 and have emergency service 24/7. What they don't tell you is that they charge $175/hour with a 2 hour minimum! Ankmar either offers emergency service or not - they shouldn't gouge their customers in their time of need. What a bad taste this experience has given me.

We had been having some trouble with our garage doors recently. I set an online appointment which was easy to do from their website. The technician came within the scheduled window and called before hand to let me know he was on his way. Larry (I'm terrible with names, sorry if I got it wrong) took a look at the doors after I explained what was happening with them.

He figured out the problem quickly, explained what was happening and switched out the necessary parts with new ones. Took the time to re- grease the tracks and rollers for us. So far so good, doors working properly again. All in all, we've been pleased with the response time from making the appointment and when work was completed. I'd recommend Ankmar to anyone having trouble with their garage doors.

I had a service call and an installation. Both technicians were so helpful, courteous, timely, just all around professional. I usually get frustrated with service people for giving me the run around or wasting my time and/or money. Not this time, Ankmar's employees were efficient and helpful. Everything was smooth in spite of a few little unexpected complications. A second technician was even sent for back up with the 1st call and everything was still resolved in under 2 hours.

Gentlemen was prompt in fact early he fixed the situation in no time gave me a great estimate for a future garage door opening unit I couldn't be happier Update on my review I called Ankmar because the garage door decided to dye the day after the technician came out I was given an estimate and when I told that to the office person she said there will be an additional $40 charge to the estimate extremely disappointed and will be looking for another garage door company

Extremely professional and helped get panel replaced quickly to meet painting schedule. We will definitely use them again.
