Critical: Quality, Value We had 3 doors replaced, the install was fine but the product is not all it's claimed to be. Both screen doors stick in the cooler to cold Temps, the front door has to be just right to lock. Wedislike this company so much we got another one to fix the flaws. Over priced over hyped. We had our kitchen refaced and a wall of new cabinets installed. Everything was done as promised. Installers were very polite, unobtrusive and cleaned up daily. There were absolutely no problems, which is really amazing, considering everything they did. I am very happy with my new kitchen - it looks beautiful!

Thermal Construction repainted the aluminum siding on the exterior of my house and replaced a few rotted out wood pieces on the trim. They quoted a very competitive price and returned to complete the work within a couple of weeks of accepting the quote. The contractors were very friendly and accommodating. They sought out my feedback and made any corrections/adjustments as needed. The company did its best to ensure I was a satisfied customer. I would recommend them for other jobs.

I was very pleased with both the cabinet refacing of our 45 year old cabinets as well as the new cabinets that we had them install. The installers were absolutely professional and were mindful of even minor details. We also appreciated the unsolicited follow-up several weeks later where we notified the sales rep of a minor issue which was then addressed and resolved very promptly. We'll gladly consider them for any of our future projects.

Thermal Construction, Inc.'s website claims, "All installations at Thermal Construction are backed by our free service warranty." "All products from Thermal Construction are warrantied." THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE THE CASE. Trying to work with this company has been the most unpleasant experience I've had with a contractor / construction service. They are rude, unresponsive, and unprofessional.

I had doors (2 main exterior doors and 2 storm doors) installed by Thermal Construction, Inc. last fall (September 2019). The installer was late and because of this had to complete the installation over 2 days (requiring me to take additional time off work). There were several issues noted within a few days of installation which took approximately a month for the installer to return and correct (the installer failed to show up several times). Thermal Construction, Inc. was contacted for a service call again in February 2020 as additional problems with the doors were encountered during the winter months.

Service could not be completed at that time due to the winter weather. Then COVID19 happened. Picking the issue back up in June 2020 I have e-mailed and called to try and resolve the issues. All I get is excuses. Issues are still not resolved.

We had them do a kitchen refacing. It turned out amazing. The sales person was flexible and patient with us and was more than willing to work with us. The installers were very professional, organized and cleaned up everything. Well worth the investment. I would heartily recommend them to all my friends. Don & Vickie Gasler 2/2021

I had my house painted and new gutters installed. I am pleased with the work done and the house looks much better than before. The painters were friendly and very thorough. Everyone at the company helped to ensure my home came out better in the end. - KM

A fixer-upper now an upgraded home. With quick turnaround time, they delivered a thorough paint job on the house along with a half demo/repaired outdoor porch. Followed through with details, repairs, questions, and concerns. Overall satisfaction from customer service via phone all the way to completed job and cleanup. Would recommend.

Thermal Construction was wonderful! They transformed our kitchen in a matter of 2 days and we couldn't be happier. They were very honest and we felt like they had our best interest at hand and wanted to do a quality job but also save us money where they could. Unlike other companies who told us we would need to replace all of our drawers and slide outs, adding to the cost, our sales rep checked every drawer and told us there was no need to replace them, being that there was nothing wrong with them. They also came up with a custom design for our island and were able to replace our island top to match our existing countertops. We love our new kitchen!

Thermal construction was professional in their workmanship and follow through. When given the estimate for when job would start, how long it would take etc and they kept us posted on the progress. The workers did a good job of cleaning up when they were done and I was left with an updated kitchen that I like to be in. It still looks great months later and I'm glad we did this project. If we have another project down the road we'll consider them again.

We used Thermal Construction to reface our kitchen cabinets. Ed came to our house exactly when he said he would and brought samples to help us make a choice. He also offered advice when we were not sure about a few items. He said someone would call to schedule the install. There were no surprises, as everything he said followed according to plan. We were so pleased with their punctuality as well as their attention to detail and cleanliness! Steve and his helper completed the project in one day and removed all our discarded doors and drawers.

We LOVE the new look and how nice the drawers open and close. I had one issue regarding a door hitting my wall and they responded immediately! It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Steve was awesome! Jean

Not recommended. They do not pay their contractors nor do they deal above board very underhanded business practices.

Did a nice job installing windows for me. The installers arrived on time and was very polite.

Had our old colonial home in Avon Lake insulated with Thermal Construction a few years ago. They were quick and professional. Not only did we save money on heating bills, but no more cold areas on certain walls in the winter and the house was much quieter.

My parents had some work done in their home, costing them well over $8000. When the contractors showed up to do the work the salesman, who evidentially was working outside of his realm of understanding, had not fully relayed all of the details of the verbal conversation to the contract. The work that was originally agreed on was not in the final contract though my parents had paid for it and sourced the materials.

After many conversations there was no resolve and they ended up having an incomplete kitchen but still had to pay the full price. No longer do companies function with integrity nor do they care how they they treat their customers, especially those who have little to no knowledge of home renovations. NEVER will we do business with or refer this company to anyone.
