Sunbeam Window & Doors

This was actually my third time working with Sunbeam Window and Door. I purchased two motorized retractable awnings over the past 15 years and have been very pleased with both. When I wanted to replace my front door I contacted Sunbeam again because they are the local dealer for HMI, a door manufacturer that is located in Philadelphia. HMI was the only company that was able to offer what I was looking for; I wanted to replace my double entry door with a single entry door and 2 side lites.

The width of the opening was an issue for most of the prefabricated doors I looked at but HMI offered side lites of varying widths and I was able to find the width that would work with the opening without having to find another way to fill that space. Dean from Sunbeam was great to work with. I must have had him out to the house 4 times before I made the purchase. (HMI was also wonderful to work with.

I contacted their rep a few times as well) It took about 4 months for the door to be fabricated but I knew this going in. The installation by Robert was 5 stars on its own. Robert installed my most recent awning and I was impressed with how meticulous he was then so I requested to have him on the install for the door. He is one of those rare individuals who still really cares about the work he does. He is courteous, professional, and exacting in his work. All in all a great experience with Sunbeam and I highly recommend them for awnings and entry doors.

Great stuff overall. Dean knows his industry and was responsive (which is shockingly uncommon given my experience with other providers). He was a fair negotiator on price, and after exploring numerous providers I believe Sunbeam is the most fairly priced. I found cheaper places I didn't trust nearly as much, and more expensive places that didn't add meaningful value to justify the premium.

Hunter Douglass blinds seem good overall, though I believe lightlock should be better for the price (framing looks a little cheap, better than typical light bleed, but there's still a halo of light).

From start to finish, I had a truly awesome experience with this company. Extremely professional Sales Rep (Dean Reiss) and my installer (Shawn) was top, top notch! Both were highly skilled, knowledgeable and professional! I recommend them 1,000%!

I cannot begin to express what a delightful experience it was getting my Hunter Douglas shade repaired. Sean was incredibly friendly and helpful. He went the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied.

Wayne was terrific! Installer was very nice. I just had to mention phone use during job but that's today's world. So all in all great.

Our experience with Wayne was very good. The installers were wonderful. They explained everything and cleaned up afterwards. Our windows look awesome. Our neighbors also think so. We would definitely use Sunbeam again and will recommend them to our friends and family.

The manager came to my home to measure for awnings and a solar shade. He never followed through with the estimate. I don't like to call multiple companies at once, so now I have wasted time waiting for a response. If he had a reason why he did not want the job, it would have been more professional had he expressed said reason. UNRELIABLE.
