I called, specifically asked about the rate to get my garage fixed. I was told how much it would cost to go there and if anything needed fixing took more than half hour the cost would increase. I agreed. Unfortunately the part was not available and another day was needed. I was never told that it would cost more to come back. I paid for the part, but I was charged for fuel cost and for the time spent. It only took 15 minutes! I will never recommend this company, they don't tell the truth at the initial call.

The person that came to service my garage door was very knowledgeable and hospitable. He was about to provide answers and explanations to any questions I had. I was very pleased with the work done to my garage. I would highly recommend Douglas Garage Door Center to anybody!

I called this other garage door company that I had used in the past to come and replace one of my door openers. They quoted me a price I thought was ridiculously too high so I asked my neighbor who she uses. She gave me the number to Douglas Garage Door. They were SO helpful on the phone, taking the time to listen to what I wanted and not trying to sell me something I didn't need or want.

They quoted me a very reasonable price, more inline with what I expected to pay for what I needed. The installer arrived, quickly assessed the situation, even helped me clear the area he was going to work in (just some empty boxes moved which I forgot were out there, but it was nice of him anyway!). He worked efficiently and cleaned up after himself. I would highly recommend Douglass Garage Door Company!

Douglas was prompt in coming to measure and email over quotes with my preferred doors, a turnaround time of a couple of days from the day they measured to me placing my order. There were significant supply chain disruptions in the delivery of my ordered doors to Douglass but once they arrived I had an install date scheduled the following week and one day install of entire new tracks, motors and doors. Which are beautiful and working perfectly. Their quotes were much more competitive than others and their promptness was appreciated.

This is a really pretty simple & straightforward story. We had a prev repair done (broken spring) two yrs ago by one of those garage door franchises ("Precision Garage Doors") that seem to be around everywhere. They weren't cheap, $180 minimum, but I liked them, and actually tried to contact the same franchisee to come back and re-fix their work. No big deal, right?

But I couldn't find my receipt and couldn't remember exactly what franchise location had done the work! So I checked around, even tried calling the franchise HQ to if they might have some database that contained my name. In the end, I just couldn't locate that same franchise. So I started to call 'regular' repair cos that had some history. Most didn't answer or return calls.

Those that did, all wanted some high minimum again just to come to my house, plus the actual cost of the parts, time charges, etc. I finally came across Douglas Garage Door center, and their reviews seemed solid. They told me it would be $99 for the trip (Jan, 2022) and that was good for 1\2 hr of labor. OK fine, I knew it was a simple job, they had called me back, and could come in a day or two.

Bottom line: they came on time, made the repair within that 1\2 hr, I paid the polite guy $99, and it was done. No upsells, no tricks, just a straightforward job that they did right, with no hassle within the 1\2 hour allowed. They appeared competent and trustworthy and I would use them again. But I doubt I would ever use a Precision GD again as I got the impression they would give a franchise to anyone who wanted to buy one. Plus, this time around, I could see a pattern in their reviews, and I got the distinct impression that many of the reviews for these franchises were fake or planted. End of story.

I recently needed 2 garage doors replaced and despite the considerable supply chain delay, I was very pleased with the available options and the communication about my project. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. The installation went smoothly and cleanup was impressive. After 2 months, I can say that I am still very happy with my purchase.

Very happy with my new garage door. The salesman showed me several options and helped me to decide on the best style. The installation went well and the garage door opener works better than before.

I had an issue with my residential garage door not opening. Technician came out within a day or 2 (I didn't want emergency service). They did a temporary fix so that I could use it while they ordered replacement parts. Parts came in, they came back and did the repair, and the door is fixed and functioning properly. Happy customer.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Douglas Garage Door. They gave me a two hour window to arrive at my home and were even actually able to exceed it. The tech was very knowledgeable and courteous. I would recommend this company to anyone who is contemplating service to their garage door.

When I called to get help they were Very pleasant and said someone would call later to set up a 2hr window for next day. Which they did and Very pleasant. The 2 men came in window slot- explained- got right to work-cleaned up and so Nice! Garage door all fixed and No problems! Mind you they came the day before Christmas with no attitude- just Smiles and pleasant talk. Thankyou guys!

Technician made it looks easy. Instalation was completed faster than I expected.

Gave a 4 star, because the tension cables were not adjusted correctly. Over all happy with service. Tech was prompt, responsive., 2nd team that adjusted cables were just as responsive.

Douglas Garage Door was great! Tony came out and helped me choose a door and it was installed within weeks. They were the only company out of about 4 that had the doors in stock and could get them installed quickly. Would definitely recommend them!

A total rip off, tried charging for doing nothing. Not even compatible to fix complicated doors and remotes. Totally misinforming the things to send their technician with a bottle of lubricant spray and send you a big bill. Be very careful to call these guys

Great folks to work with. Friendly and professional. Have used them for service and install. Very pleased each time.

The doors look great and were installed very professionally. My only complaint was that the original site review didn't pick up on the fact that existing trim, which had been wrapped in aluminum, had to be removed first. The wood under this trim would have been exposed, and so the installer tried a workaround which really didn't come out too well, but it wasn't his fault. One of the panels was slightly damaged in shipping, so the installer reported it and placed it at the top so it could easily be replaced when the new panel arrives.

The repairman from Douglas garage doors was professional and worked very quietly and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. It was apparent that they take pride in the service that they provide. He replaced The Spring Torsions on my garage door Which one of them was broken. He took time to speak with me about my garage door and it's condition and what I could expect sometime in the future and operated the door to show that it was in good working condition again once the job was completed and had me to do the same.
