Geoff and Co replaced all the windows in our 1960 2 story home with milgard retrofit ones and I couldn't be happier with the results. The finish looks seamless on each one (closeup of edge attached) and they function perfectly. They especially did a great job with a rather large opening over 10 ft wide in which they installed a 4 panel sliding door.

They worked quickly to have most of them done in a day and the last one on another. They were always incredibly professional and I would highly recommend them for your window installation projects.

I heartily recommend Geoff and Michael's Construction. We got bids to replace all the windows in our 4 bedroom, two floor, Eichler townhouse and Michael's Construction was by far the best value, with the estimate coming in significantly lower than its competitors. I have been purchasing windows and working with Geoff since 1996. Michael's is my go to company for windows and I continue to be pleased with the service and quality. In 1996 I replaced all windows except for two. I contacted Geoff again int 1996 to replace a garden window excellent service and fast service. June 2020, I decided to update my bay window that was in the home when, again Geoff and his team came through like champs. If you need windows, contact Geoff and Michael's construction. This review is way overdue. I had ordered the Simonton Impressions 7300 windows for my home in the Queen Ann pattern. The windows were installed in a day and look nice. I am very particular about getting the correct measurements and communicating them to the vendor. An employee came to measure my windows and write up the contract. I followed him into each room to make sure the measurements were the same as what I had written down.

I thought that he was confirming my measurements were correct. But his measuring tape didn't extend all the way to the end of the window in the master bedroom. I told him what MY measurement was and he acknowledged it so I thought our measurements would be the same. On installation day, the two guys who were installing the master bedroom window had problems with it because the fit was not correct.

They spoke in Spanish to each other so I don't know what was said. I asked what the problem was and the older guy said "Everything is okay", but they called the office and spoke to someone. I could see the window was a bit short on the one side. Long story short is they used wood shims to make the window fit and left. I even supplied them with my own wood shims so that they could finish the installation.

The windows looked very nice. I live in a neighborhood where planes fly overhead and the master bedroom window rattle every time the planes fly over my home. The rattle when it's very windy also. I didn't have this issue with the old windows. Michaels Construction windows are very nice, but the guy who came to measure made a mistake for the MB window. It's something I have lived with for years.

Make very sure that the window measurements are correct and have them double check. I'm very disappointed the guy didn't measure the window correctly or check them against my measurements. I recommended the company to a neighbor, but gave them same caveat and they decided to go with someone else.

We shopped around for window replacement in our home. Talked with several companies, and ended up going with Michael's Construction. This was largely due to our dealing with Geoff. He came out, gave a bid, talked about the different types of windows we could go with, and made things really clear about the job. Windows are just finished now. Every single time commitment was kept by Geoff - right down to the minute.

There are people that you just know you can trust - their intelligence, honesty and presence. That's how we felt about Geoff. The crew who put in the windows are Raphael and Manuel. They are highly skilled, efficient, careful, and respectful of the house. Raphael and Manuel left the house completely clean after their work. We could not be happier, or more satisfied. Timeline (ordering the windows and scheduling the installation) was less than 3 weeks.

Price was consistent with other well-recommended companies that gave us bids, and Michael's added new wooden sills in the job. We chose Simonton windows. Whole deal was great - great product and great experience.

Did an extensive trade study with 6 window suppliers/installers. Michael's Construction was the best value bid and came in at very close to lowest cost. We selected Simonton 7300 series windows and ordered 7 windows and 3 new construction sliding doors. Installation was accomplished in 2 days. Installation crew of 3 people were excellent. There were efficient, very skilled, thorough, and did an excellent job.

They communicated minor issues and worked solutions very quickly. I was again very impressed with the talent of the installation crew and would definitely use Michael's construction again.

Michales constructions replaced 8 single pane windows (retrofit) for my house. Both Geoff and his team are pleasant to work with. In the sales process, Geoff is clear and communicative, friendly, professional, and responds very quickly to text messages. He gave us good advice and very reasonable pricing. He even drove to my house on a Saturday to show me different brands so we can make an informed decision.

Since our goal is energy saving, we went with 6 double pane Simonton windows, and 2 triple pane PlyGem picture windows in the living room. I have interviewed six contractors for this project, and have to say this company gives the most competitive bids, and very professional in the entire process. I am also happy with the short wait time, only 3 weeks from getting a quote to getting the windows installed!

The install crew is clean and thorough in their work. They are experts at their trade, and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves. I am very satisfied and will recommend them to any friend. We see a clear difference in terms of noise level and insulation impact now we have these windows installed. 5-Star Service! We ordered new double pane Milgard windows to be installed in our 4-plex in San Jose. The whole process start to finish was easy, well priced and well executed. My tenants were quite impressed with the pace of the installers and that they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards.

I needed 8 windows and 1 sliding glass door installed 10 years ago. We selected Michael's Construction after talking with 4 companies we choose Michael's. The cost was competitive and the installation was completed professionally and on schedule. 3 years ago we had trouble with the latch on the sliding door. The staff at Michaels Construction was very helpful; they were able to provide a replacement part and installation instructions.

Last year we noticed a film/haze between the glass in one window. I called Michael's. They contacted Simonton Window and asked me to call back if I did not receive a call from Simonton within 3days. I had a call the next day, and the window replaced within a month. 2weeks ago I noticed the haze in a second window. Michael's has again responded immediately, and Simonton called within 2 days.

After considering 4 window contractors I am pleased that we choose Michael's Construcrion; their prices are competitive and their staff has been helpful and professional. Having a reliable contractor is invaluable when you need to work with the window company. Overall, it's been a good experience throughout.

Our project was replacing windows in a 23 unit apartment complex. We chose Michael's Construction for their years of experience, product knowledge and professional ability to work through 4 months of review and questions as we compared and researched other vendors. I needed double pain windows for my rental so I sent out a request for a quote with 3 contractors. Michael's Construction was NOT the lowest bid, however they offered the best product for the money and a lifetime warranty on the windows and screens. They have already replace a couple of sliding doors and 4 windows at my rental and did a great job.

They worked with my schedule to insure things were done on time for the new tenants and they not only finished early, they took all the stickers off the windows and then washed them and vacuumed inside. They accept credit cards, however they will charge you 3% more to cover their cost. I can understand that, but I don't like it.

The crew was on time, diligent, professional & friendly as they worked. Clean up was excellent. Of course, "Master & Munchkin" came by to check on workmanship (management by walking around style) and results are marvelous. ONE PROBLEM: all these nice, new windows - we have to keep them as clean and shining as the day installed.

Michael's Construction is a very good company from their sales person(Geoff) very professional and honest, to the owners who actually came to make sure what was to be installed was right (impressed me a lot), to the crew that came to install the windows(tremedous job, John!). Michael's just came out and installed new Simonton windows in our 60 year old house and it couldn't have gone better. They replaced 20 windows in just a few days. The price was a low as you can go and the installers were friendly, on time and fast workers. They took time to explain the process and clean up after themselves at the end of each day.

They went over the amazing warranty several times to make sure we knew what to do in case there was anything we saw that we didn't like and really made us feel at ease. If you are thinking about redoing your windows you MUST get a quote from these guys! We couldn't decide between their quote and one from another company that matched their price but we ended up going with Michael's based on a personal recommendation from a relative. If you are in the same boat, let this review be your personal recommendation, call them and order those windows already, you will be glad you did!
