Ron Dulmaine and Sons is an independently-owned garage door repair and installation business set up in Sandwich, MA in 1987 by Ron Junior to service all of Cape Cod and Martha's Vineyard. As the business grew, Ron Senior retired to the Cape after three decades as the director of Fimbel Door Company in Worcester, MA to help with sales and installations.

Most garage doors installed today are constructed from galvanized steel, which means you won't have to worry about rusting, warping, or rotting. Steel doors feature attractive wood grain embossed steel and provide maximum energy efficiency with a variety of insulation options to suit your needs.
The Standard Carriage House Doors are also constructed from galvanized steel and engineered for energy efficiency but feature beadboard stamps in recessed panels for a cost-effective carriage house look. The embossed steel is factory pre-finished, painted on both the exterior and interior with epoxy primer and then covered with a durable polyester finish coat. You can keep the door plain or we can add decorative handles and hinges to the outside as in the picture to the right.
We have a variety of Premium Carriage House Doors that are constructed from galvanized steel with overlay options made of fiberglass or composite materials. These doors are carefully crafted to bring you the beauty and elegance of the classic carriage house doors that are also practically maintenance free.
The Vinyl Carriage House Garage Door Collection offers a wide range of carriage house designs with many options for big glass windows. The garage doors are manufactured by Fimbel Architectural Door Specialties using vinyl composite technology. Since they are not made on a metal frame, they will not rust.

Outstanding customer service, great pricing and installation! A friend recommended Dulmaine and sons for my new addition and when working with their team they were extremely helpful. I wanted carriage style garage doors and they were able to accommodate my particular taste. Our renovation took longer than expected because of Covid availability of materials, and they were very helpful and storing the garage doors until it was time to install. I couldn't give them a higher recommendation, you won't be sorry if you use them.

My garage door decided to stop opening after a long week of rain on the Cape. After googling for repair options, I called and left a message at Dulmaine and Sons. I received a call back in about 15 minutes and spoke with Jason who explained that the large amounts of rain will affect the older garage doors and would require some adjustments to the motor.
Since my door had finally gone up, he said he would be by the next day to take a look. He came as planned and adjusted the motor and even replaced the button inside the garage that has always given me trouble. I wasn't home so he left the bill behind which was Very Reasonable! Jason was great and I highly recommend this business!

We worked with Ron to order a new garage door and opener for our home renovation. It was by far the most pleasant experience of our entire project. Ron patiently talked us through all of our options and maintained great communication from order through delivery. The men who came to do the installation were extremely nice, and they did a great job. I highly recommend them.

This was our second experience with Ron Dulmaine and Sons Garage Doors, and both were GREAT EXPERIENCES. We finally replaced our "vintage" garage doors a few years ago and selected Ron Dulmaine and Sons. Ron was very patient with all of our questions and our door selection process - so many great options! A highly professional and impressively organized installation by Jason followed! Recently, at another home, a garage door torsion spring needed replacement. Again, we received their reliable service.

I happened on Ron's sign driving down Rte 6A and called him. He had me come right to his store front and made this decision one of the easiest parts of building an entire house! He was knowledgeable, did not pressure me, and in fact gave me one of the best deals when buying my 4 garage doors. My GC said his guys were a pleasure to work with. I hope he uses Ron more going forward as a result of how easy this company was to work with.
His installers were friendly and helped me figure something out in my house the day they installed my 4 doors. They were that approachable and helpful. Ron was honest in his pricing and true to his word. I feel good about spending my money with him.

Ron Dulmaine and Sons are true professionals. They quickly came out to take measurements, and offered solid advice in terms of the garage door and opener that best suited our needs. They came to install our door exactly when they said they would and completed the job promptly and neatly. We recommend them without hesitation.

Look no further these are your guys! Great workmanship. Good prices. Super products. They replaced our doors and put in new lifters. They even put in a "double track" because the garage ceiling was so low. The results are spectacular. They're a third generation family business, have a big warehouse, and a showroom, so you know that they'll be around if you ever need repairs or adjustments. Ron did the estimate and the sons did the install. I gave 'em only 5 stars 'cause Google won't let me give' em 6. If you need doors, call em. You'll be happy you did.

A Plus Service! I highly recommend Ron Dulmaine & Sons. Their Customer Service was the outstanding. Ron Dulmaine & Sons were simple the best and I was not an easy customer. I had many questions and did not know what type of door to get. Ron walked me through picking the perfect door for my budget and the house. I went to work in the am and returned with a beautiful new door.
The price was more than fair (I had multiple quotes done) but that was not what sold me it was 100% the customer service. After walking me through selecting the door and installing the door Ron called me the next day to make sure I was happy with everything. Mary C.
