Windowrama-Orange

Ordered screens in December of 21. Windowrama ordered the wrong screens. The correct screens were ordered and are now available but Windowrama is only available for installations in my area 2 days a week so I have to wait 3 weeks for installation. 6 month process with no accommodation made to accelerate the installation based on my poor experience.

I'd give no stars if that was an option. I ordered doors in September and when they finally arrived in March, one was broken and could not be installed. So now I have to wait again. Windowrama is doing nothing whatsoever to get me my doors faster. I'll never use them again or recommend them.

I can only go based off a few phone interactions with the folks from this particular location, but they are FILLED with attitude and have been pretty dismissive with my wife. I overhear in the background as she's called a few times asking questions and she's been met with nothing but an attitude. Won't be getting any of our business EVER that's for sure.

Called to inquire about a price, quoted me one price when I called back he raised the price thanks Keith

Jeff is an extremely knowledgeable sales rep. He is extremely patient, and makes himself available for us whenever needed. He bends over backwards to accomodate our many requests. He is a great assett to Windowrama.

We've been working with Jeff at the windowrama in Eatontown. He is super responsive, reliable and so nice to work with. He knows all the window/door lines and can explain pros and cons of each. We were recommended to go there by our contractor and we are glad we did. We are most likely going with Marvin windows and a Thermatru front door. Jeff has been very honest with lead times for materials and with doing several estimates for us to compare costs of various product lines.

He is really a delight to work. Make sure you ask for him. We decided to have our contractor install everything rather than go with windowrama's installers. So far so good. Once we receive the order I'll update this review as to the ease of the process, the quality and workmanship of the windows and door. And post some photos of the finished results. Because of pandemic-induced supply chain delays causing very long lead times it will be several months before an update.

Five stars plus! Jeff at WindowRama Eatontown was very professional and provided me with excellent service. He answered every one of my many technical questions and sent me a quote within minutes after our telephone conversation. It's wise having the guidance of an expert when making an investment in windows. I recommend calling Jeff for all your window needs.

This place was recommended to us and so glad we went. Jeff was there to walk us through each window, giving us options all the way. He knows his products and was able to explain things in a way that was easy for me to understand. We were given options that we had not walked in considering, but were grateful to receive. All in all would highly recommend and look forward to returning to complete the rest of our home with Jeff's expertise.

Jeff Nathanson answered every one of my questions and made some great recommendations regarding our window selection for a "new build." The showroom has some great displays that helped to visualize what our future home will look like. I would definitely recommend working with Jeff!

I'm a contractor at the Jersey Shore and I've used Jeff as my salesperson at window Rama for years, he and the staff there has always help me with my customers that I send him. The advice and knowledge he has given has saved my customers money by recommending the right product for there homes needs. He has always made me a winner with the people I do work for.

Had our order for two months and never put it through. We paid for the window assuming it was ordered but the sales person never did it. To make it worse never even apologizes. Held up our construction project due to their incompetence. AWFUL

So far so good. Jeff is very patient and thoroughly knows the products he represents. The showroom has lots of samples and we were given referrals to residences to see the installed product. I am sure it will be 5 stars upon delivery!

Had to specially order some parts and screens and got the best service ever here. Pete was a very helpful salesperson.

Needed a part for a 44 year old Anderson window. I had brought the broken part with me and he searched the computer till he found the replacement part. Can't ask for more than that. Also, the broken part did not have a part number on it so he had to do a lot of searching. He was very friendly and helpful.

I ordered a custom sized interior door 12/9 and was told wait time 7-10 days. Door finally came in last week. When contractor picked it up door knob opening was put on the wrong side so could not be used. Clearly specifications on order were not followed. When contractor called Windowrama staff he was not helpful stating we'd have to go through manager for refund! Poor service all around. Would not use them again.

I am in the midst of a large renovation on my home. My architect and contractor and I chose expensive Anderson windows through Windowrama, as well as two very expensive custom doors. While I am sympathetic with what we are all going through in this pandemic and have been extremely patient with timing to receive the materials, since the installation, I have experienced nothing but headaches and unresponsiveness.

Both of the custom doors were made incorrectly. And Windowrama as taken responsibility for these mistakes. However, their unresponsiveness to my contractors and architects calls, emails, and texts is completely unprofessional. This has been going on for weeks and I am living in my house with the flimsy, temporary locks they sent the doors with, a door that won't stay in position on it's hinges, and delays that continue to cost me aggravation and money. Go somewhere else.

We ordered a door on Sept 30 clearly stating that we need it to be installed before the cold weather, were promised the new door in November. When we have not heard on dates by end of November we reached out and were promised the December 2 delivery. The blamed COVID moving production from 3 weeks to 7-8.but it's been more than 8 by that time.

By now it is cold weather and it is really cold on the first floor - we specified time because of the draft from under and around the door. Then we were told it would be only produced in the end of December which does not work for our personal plans, nor the weather. When we asked to confirm the installation date that would require us to move travel plans but still be doable - radio silence. Do not fall into this trap, do not deal with the people you have to chase to get your prepayment back or be prepared to indefinite delays.

Had a terrible experience here! Company sent out a guy to my home to give me an estimate on installation of patio door. Guy came to my home and seemed professional. He emailed me an Anderson quote and I had also asked for a Marvin quote. However, never heard from him after that. I emailed him and left voicemail as well and later that evening to my shock got a text from him that read. " You got me fired a#$%hole".

All I asked was for a Marvin quote. Not sure how he got fired for that. But he took the time to text and leave me an obscene message. I was so appalled called manager the next day at store and he told me the guy did not seem right and yes he was let go. I was furious! They should have not sent someone so unprofessional and crazy to my home and I let him into my home. Beware! Manager offered to send someone else. are you kidding? No way! Find another place to purchase windows and doors! Never again! No stars for this place!

Called to ask what time to come in, girl on the phone says "we close at 5pm" so I say I'm sure you don't want me to come at 4:59, so how about 3:30-4pm, would that work?" "Yeah sure". Drive the 20 minutes, get there at 3:40 and basically I feel like they didn't want my business. One person working, with customers.ask "how long do you think it might be?" And the response is "I can't answer that, and we don't do 'take-offs' on a Saturday" I'm not really sure what kind of response that a but.well, didn't really warm me up to spend $10k there. Thanks for nothing!

Went to the Paramus location looking for a new front door. First time to this location and was helped by a salesman named Mike. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and helped make my experience great! Will definitely recommend to others!

Walked in on Saturday with a list of 30 windows. Only 1 sales person was at the store and 2 people were already waiting as he was explaining to a nice couple different styles of doors. 10 minutes in and he was still going on and on and on. Sorry I left kind sales guy, I had to be at work on Monday. If you visit on Saturday pack snacks and pillow, it will take couple of days to price your windows. 3 days later got a quote over the phone and price for Andersen 200 series was $65 more per window then Big Home improvement store. Not worth the wait.

This company is awful. I ordered 15k worth of windows from them and you'd think they were paying ME the 15k. I was told the work would be done in two days. It was not. It took twice as long. They were also kind enough to remove a window without having the replacement. By my own stupidity, I choose to order a second phase of windows believing their apologies and giving them a second chance.

I was promised that the job would take one day and if I took off a day that it would be completed. I asked about an act of God. They said don't worry it will be done that day. Fast forward, God acted, but not before every weatherman told us, so I called and asked if we were on the day before. No response. I have the email -- it went to two people. Dutifully the installers showed up on the proscribed day.

They were waiting on the windows which never came due to weather. Thankfully I wouldn't let them begin work until I -- yes I -- saw each window to insure that they were correct. They never came so they never started. I just wasted another vacation day for Windowrama. Not to worry -- they'll be back Monday. JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I DON'T HAVE A 4TH DAY TO LOSE.

I bought decent Windows from them. However, when I looked for a storm door, their product line was limited, and the salesman could not direct me to another vendor. However, I was impressed with the patience and knowledge of their salesman and believe that they can be trusted with your business even if you lack the knowledge of a contractor, who is probably their main customer base.

Unprofessional service. Salesperson rude and abrasive. Do not even enter this store. They will not give you an estimate until you pay upfront. They are playing games because they don't want to be undersold--although they will give you plenty of other lies to cover it up. Trust me Windowrama is Crazyrama.

Ugh. What a bad experience. I ordered a Therma-Tru replacement front door with sidelight and: 1) There was a manufacturing defect on the door. So now I have a front door that is not fully secured until the replacement part comes in. The strike plate hole was nowhere NEAR the door latch! I can't believe it left the factory that way. 2) The blind insert inside the sidelight window doesn't close properly. 3) Worst of all, the glass surrounding the inlay design is clear glass, not frosted.

I told the salesman many times that I needed privacy for this front door, and right now, I have very little. The catalog description is a privacy rating of 8. I rate it a "2", and I'm very upset. Neither the WindowRama people or the factory will address this. The photos in the catalog were very, very misrepresentative of the actual product. Stay away. Use Pella. I'm sorry I didn't.
