Fadely Home Design

We really liked the idea of using a local company when we were looking to get new Windows. First impression was great. The in-home sales process was far better when comparing the usual suspects that typically want to sit in your house for anywhere from 90 minutes to 2+ hours. 25 minutes Chris had what he needed to get us moving forward. However, once the windows came in the issues started to appear.

We had several windows damaged, which then required replacement parts and windows that needed to be ordered and waited for. While there were no additional costs incurred. We noticed that the windows were extremely dirty and as we cleaned. We found that in most cases there were scratches we didn't notice for months after being installed. Part of the issue is the windows were not wrapped when brought onsite to be installed, which makes me think they could have been damaged during transit. Overall, those we interacted with through Fadely were generally positive, but the product itself has left a lot to be desired. Which is disappointing, because Windows in general are not cheap.

Mark and his crew did a fabulous job changing our screened in porch into an all season room with 4 sliders and full picture window. Mark gave us our best options and his crew installed everything as promised. They were very courteous and professional. Mark came back for a walk through of the project when the job was completed as well. I highly recommend Fadley Home Design.

We had a good experience with Fadely and our Pella window installation. Our concerns were addressed promptly, and we are happy with our Pella windows. There were a couple areas of craftsmanship that were not perfect, but as Chris pointed out, they are not very noticeable. Our expectation was high, however, for $51k windows. Our experience with the contractors used to install and stain were okay.

There was some damage left to the exterior paint of our home due to the install. The contractor who stained our windows complained about the Fadely company repeatedly and for over 30 minutes the first time we met. This contractor also left things unfinished as well as stain on our bathtub, which he remedied when the issues were pointed out. Several screens and a window arrived damaged, and some screens arrived in the wrong color, but those have been reordered and will be replaced. Overall, we are satisfied with our purchase.

Fadely Home Design replaced all the windows in our home, along with a patio door, in the summer of 2020. I'm just now posting this as all the ridiculous interactions I've had with all types of contractors before and since then have motivated me to go back and post some positive reviews for the folks that do things really well. We worked with Chris on all the measurements and estimates and everything went smoothly.

We got quite a few estimates for the job and Fadely's was very competitive. There were a couple of tricky elements to the installation, including one area where we needed a creative solution to prevent leaks, and the installers were fantastic. They were courteous and easy to work with and everything looks great. Their solution for the leak was great as well, it looks good and is still water tight.

After about a year, we had one window that had a bad seal and they got this taken care of and replaced it pretty quickly. I would definitely recommend them for windows and will be reaching back out to them myself for another project.

Really great experience. Worked directly with Mark to order a Pella sliding glass patio door to replace an existing standard glass door. Pella took a while to deliver the product, but Mark was very responsive. Once delivered, the installer did a really nice job installing it. No issues and fit/finish is really good. The team that came to install our windows was very professional, polite, and did a wonderful job installing our windows. It's been years since we've been able to open about 10 of our 13 windows because they either kept breaking when we were trying to open them, had a missing screen and screen frame, and we only had about 2 that still had tension so the windows we could open we had to prop open. Needless to say we are ecstatic for sping! Fadeley's team were respectful of our home and our landscaping.

They cleaned up very well at the end of each day which was greatly appreciated. The only thing we've seen that we're not happy about is they nailed a board to our deck so their ladder wouldn't slide across the wet deck. I would have asked them to remove this board had I known prior to them leaving for the final time. Otherwise, they're work was very clean, neat and professional. I definitely recommend Fadely and the two contractors.

We had searched without success for 2-3 years for someone to install front and back doors using our home's transoms. Mark Fadely responded to a post we made on "Nextdoor", promptly coming to our home to give us a quote. We were a bit skeptical because we had encountered home construction owners/workers previously who were not honest or helpful. But not Mark. He had exactly what we wanted and then installed it with care and professionalism. We are very pleased with our beautiful new doors!

Replaced two glass block window units with two units that were made up of a lower fixed frosted with an upper clear awning. The units have grills that matched our other casement windows on our home. This is a GREAT CHANGE because we now have ventilation while still maintaining privacy with the lower two thirds being frosted, plus the insulated glazing and framing makes for two more energy efficient units in our master bathroom. We will be sure to enjoy a more comfortable year-round environment.

Fadely Home Design was contracted to replace all of our windows in our home. The product and the craftsmanship was excellent. The final price was in line with the original estimate. Well done!

After researching vinyl windows for several weeks, I decided Okna windows just couldn't be beat. Fadley was one of the only window companies that offer them. They were great to work with from the quote process through installation. Communication was great. The price of Fadley and Okna windows is very competitive. Our downstairs is on a slab and is staying so much warmer in the winter after the window installation. They look great on the inside and outside. I'd definitely recommend looking at them for replacement windows.
